It seemed like the time flies now, what do we expect next, James Yap retiring?
These 3 are great teammates back in the day with San Mig Mixers.
His contributions to the team are very low right now. Its quite hard to say this but I think that he might need to give his slot too to other young players like others did as well. I don't know how many years he will be playing base on his contract but if this year will be the last then he might retire after this conference.
Bubble games really is hard because you will not see your family personally for months. That is one of the reasons too why some of the older players retired this year already aside from the fact that they can't contribute that much anymore.
James Yap is 39 years old, there are older players than him that are still active in the PBA, and he did not give a hint that he will retire, maybe he is still enjoying, and I what I can see, he is still fit and could deliver.
We have Caguioa, Hugnatan, and Raffy who are still active, they are already in their 40s.
Its quite happy to see that even though their ages are 40, they can still play and run in the court like they are in their young 30's . Maybe they are inspired of what Taulava did where he is still playing even though he is 47 years old although he retired already.
