Did you read the article at all? Back then you could print out lottery tickets yourself. And yes he made every possible combinations, investing with investors millions and millions. But this was not my point. But what syndicates are doing... They just group up and buy tickets weekly. And only investing 2- 3 euros per person weekly. Avarage coffee costs 3 euros in gas station. So

Instead of paying that ticket alone 40 euros if youre playing alone. But for 15 people it would be 2 euros weekly for 40 tickets. Would you rather buy that
3 euro coffee or 40 lottery tickets that costs 3 euros?. Obviously it is not oriented to win the jackpot, but just investing weekly 3 euros in the lotter tickets. 40 tickets weekly. 12 euros for 160 tickets per month. If you want to buy a coffe then go for it. But if people just want to invest 3 euros, that dosent kill you, then lets play it. There isnt nothing much to lose. But to win a ton if you hit it

It`s not his idea, he just saw it somewhere on the internet. Many people have tried this without success, cause you need to cover too many possible combinations, for that you need a little fortune. Depending on the lottery time, number of combinations is different, but give or take it`s always more than 10 million possible combinations, with 1 dollar per combination, and sometimes more, you need 10 M dollars to cover all that, so lottery you chase need to have main prize over that amount. Can you invest all that money with your family?

Your idea probably could increase ones chances of winning... but how sure are you that was what the "math man" did to win so much lotteries? I have my doubts.

I have thought about your idea in my early days on gambling section. I thought what if I can get all my family members to buy up the whole lottery tickets with their own money and anyone who wins could share the price with the rest of the family. I guess this could work? It's possible that many have tried it without success

I dont think it was a sure thing but just on average it worth doing.   All the schemes of this type I've read about were done on the basis that if playing in most games it would yield a profit.   The syndicate is required because its possible at least once they might not get back all their money, they will make a loss.   Not an absolute loss but it was possible for them to spend more on tickets then they got back.
   How he managed to get locked up in jail for attempting this is wrong, any reasonable business involves risk of loss and here that was the case but the government found his involvement was too clever perhaps.   Lotteries like alot of state taxes are a voluntary self tax on stupidity, hence drink and cigarettes are a big target in almost every country.   If he found a way to be clever and make a profit most weeks, it doesnt seem dishonest to me.

I never know a person can win the lottery because it is not easy to get a win. He has big luck in the lottery so that he can win that money. We could only imagine if someday we can win big money like him. I am sure we will be happy, and we want to buy many things which we don't have. It's never been easy to win money in gambling.

That guy invested ton of money (read millions) He made every possible combination. (over 3 million). It was a sure thing.

Back then there was not an option for a system plays. Lets say typical lottery has 5 numbers and 2 extra numbers. Which costs 2 euros.

Now you can buy a lottery ticket that has 10 numbers and 2 extras and the ticket costs 1500 euros lol. Your chance to hit those 5 numbrs out of 10  increases drastically.

I think iam setting up a lottery syndicate group. Current eurojackpot is 40 million. most of the wins are going to finland cos there are syndicates playing it. 10 or more people investing every week. That means paying for a ticket is cheaper. Once they hit the jackpot they split the win.

Iam buying eurojackpot, spending 40eur a week lol. Anyone also playing for fun? or is interested to  split the cost? 15 people buying 20 tickets thats 2.50 per ticket instead of 40. There is a system where you can buy 7 balls and 4 extras. that costs 230 per ticket.

We choose the numbers all together and play the same numbers every week. A bit of fun every friday why not`? Even if jackpot does not hit still 3 and 4+2numbers are giving a great return

And by the way, this guy really is LUCKY in terms of winning, but NOT LUCKY in terms of the way he wins the game, perhaps he may be cheating the game, I once shared this story to one of my friends whose fond of playing gambling games games at the casino and I was told that this is merely impossible to achieve besides winning 3 times in a row will be miraculously insane.

But as for this scenario, I have also think about that, this wasn't just a genius thing or what. But just a chance of getting the winning procedures on his hands.

He was NOT LUCKY, he was searching for jackpots from different lotteries in which the jackpot would be 3 times the amount he'd spend to buy every possible combination.
He was playing the combinations from PC and with the help of people he was registering the tickets to multiple offices.

If you play every combination, then you obviously have 100% chance of winning! So, this looks more like investing than gambling... he invested time and money to calculate and buy all the combinations without making a mistake, then he'd get more money than what he'd invest. So.... that's investing!

Oh he is very lucky and congrats to him, by the way I still believe it's a pure luck, I don't believe because he is genius in the number again i believe it's a prie luck and their effirt and ideas as genius can help a little bit for digit analysis bit is doesn't mean he got the winning number because of their mind genius.

The chances thaf we had with lottery is very low, somehow no a good investment as well if we analyze it briefly. Good thing is somebody won a great amount of crypto, but I don't think it's possible to win 12 times in a day. It may took more days or even weeks.

Agree with you in gambling people use to win by luck because lottery is being drown since long people use to buy it and wait for the luck  when you are not lucky you will not win and yes in this corruptions is hard it happens because it is all blind task no one know 40 out of 6 or 10 who will be those lucky people.

You do not need a mind to win in lottery. 
People only win in lottery who have luck with them. Lottery is the most difficult games to win among all the gambling games. Many people not even won lottery even a single time and the OP has won it straight 12 times.

Nice mind ?  Lol  yeah because the guy is smart that he make a formula to beat the gambling but for us common gamblers a nice mind wont help because  luck is mostly our tool to win  . what happen to him is not luck but it can be explained by pure skill and knowledge  .

He is ban not because for others to be given a chance to won but he is banned because the gambling owner think what he did is illegal and against the rule  .  if im the operator i will also do the same because this is abusive

A nice mind in winning 12 TIMES in a lottery. For me, I cannot consider this a combination of luck and skills in math. Winning 12 times in lottery makes you not lucky. Thus, it means that you have a strategy that is clearly working on that lottery game. Glad that he's being prevented to win, so that it can create chance for others to win also.

It's hardly believed the Mathematics method of guessing the numbers in the lottery, every lottery company has different algorithms and I don't think every mathematician will crack on it by his solving strategy. However, when it comes luck I think 1% of it might you have while the rest is on lottery owner if you only buy 1 ticket. It means the more you have been bought tickets the more of high chances in winning you have.

I n the option you provided above that whoever want to be like this Man should be a Mathematician which means you need not to consider the second option of luck because doesn't work in Mathematics just to do and be good at it you will then be like this Man you mentioned in your submission.

That's a good story but I dont think your 2 points will help anyone.  You cant just become a mathematical genius lol.  And #2, well that's just obvious.  Still think lottery is pure luck unless you have an insider that is cheating..
