Right Sector neo-Nazis were ambushed near the city of Konstantinovka by the Donetsk People's Army. A huge cache of arms, including sophisticated machine guns were recovered from them.

UN has been sending peacekeeping forces to some places that you'll be hard-pressed finding on the map. Yet the topic of sending peacekeepers to Ukraine is a taboo. Makes you think, eh?

As for humanitarian aid. Russia requested permission to do so, and was denied. It is now pushing this through UN Security Council.

LOL!
Have you ever seen a rich person in the city, attacking a homeless guy and shouting "stop resisting! Just let me give you the bloody money!" No? Me neither.

Or how about a drug dealer trying to inject an "unreliable" customer with more drugs to keep him hooked? Yeah, that sounds more like what Russia is trying to do to the Ukraine.

Peacekeeping forces need not be Russian, as long as Russian contingent is present. Humanitarian help could be sent through UN or Red Cross. No problems there.
The problem is that in these cases the West first needs to acknowledge that there is trouble in Ukraine.

As for drugdealer analogy. Hmm... I beg to differ. Russia is trying to wean Ukraine off the cheap gas, for starters Wink

Some news:

Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns air strikes against Lugansk:
"On the 2nd of May Kiev government has again conducted a crime against its own people. Peaceful residents of Ukraine were killed as a result of an air strike against the building of Lugansk regional administration."

The head of UN urges Poroshenko to use peaceful means of stabilising the situation in the East and to initiate a dialogue with Russia:

Currently, Slavjansk is under siege - no one comes in no one gets out. In Donetsk, people who tried to collect the dead from around the airport got shot dead by the military. Ambulance came under fire. There is need for humanitarian aid, where ever it comes. But EU must first admit that there is a problem in Ukraine before mounting any aid, and according to EU - everything is fine. Being killed by artillery fire has been added to the list of natural causes.

And who the fuck are the "self defence forces"?

Defending what? They want an independent, new, country between Russia and the Ukraine?

Defending Novorossia, a new self-proclaimed independent republic. They defend their right to be what they are on their land.

Ukrainian fighter jets have bombed the administration building in Lugansk city, causing dozens of deaths and injuries. Details are still being awaited. A large number of people are trapped inside the building, which is currently on fire.

NATO says that its position on Ukraine is fundamentally different from the Russian one:
http://itar-tass.com/mezhdunarodnaya-panorama/1233139?utm_medium=rss20

Given that Russia disapproved of the civilian killings and urges talk and federalisation of the country, I take it NATO have just said that they are for unitary country, governed by an iron hand disregarding how many people are killed in the process.

More propaganda from Ukrainian Ministry of internal affairs, painting the resistance as baby-eating monsters, who destroy the infrustructur of Ukraine by being in the building and thus forcing the furry Ukrainian Army to bomb them:

Russia is going to put forth a UN Security Council resolution to immediately stop military activity in Ukraine, secure the civilian population and to create humanitarian aid corridors. This must be done as a pre-requisite for fulfilment of Geneva agreements:

"Svoboda"'s Tjagnibok suggests that the Parliament (Rada) closes the border with Russia and introduces Visum-regime.
http://ria.ru/world/20140602/1010332117.html

This act aims to deprive Ukrainians and Novorossian's from earning their livelihood, and to prevent families living on both sides of the border (of which there are a lot) from visiting each other.

Again you are mistaking the Vostok battalion, either knowingly or unknowingly. I had earlier posted about the Vostok guys.

First of all, many of the journalists in the Western media mistook the Elite Vostok Brigade of the Donetsk People's Army for the Chechen Vostok Battalion (which is actually controlled by the Chechen clan-leader Badrudi Yamadayev, who is fiercely opposed to Ramzan Kadyrov). The Donetsk Vostok brigade is composed of former Ukrainian soldiers, and there are no foreigners among them.

One teeny tiny difference: Nazis invaded other countries and killed their population. These guys are fighting foreign invaders and defending their country. Their tactics may be questionable, though I don't know, since I don't know what their tactics are (I suspect you don't either), but saying they're Nazis is kind of like saying that that the Polish fighters who were fighting against the German invasion in WW2 are Nazis.

In the mean time, http://landandseajournal.com/4500-russian-fighters-have-crossed-the-ukraine-border/

Also, did you hear that Right Sector recently raided and emptied the headquarters of Donetsk People's Republic, declared martial law, and imposed a curfew?

Nah, I'm lying, they were actually Russian "Vostok Battalion,", not Right Sector. Although I'm sure either Russian Media, or you idiots, will claim they are Right Sector, since apparently according to you, anyone wearing military uniforms and carrying guns in Ukraine is Right Sector  Roll Eyes

Also, Russia got busted for lying again

It also emerged that 33 men killed in bloody battles in Donetsk were Russian citizens, giving backing to Ukraine's claims that Moscow's blatant interference is fuelling the conflict.

Regarding IMF, and their effect on Iceland, get yourselves educated: https://www.imf.org/external/pubs/ft/survey/so/2011/car110311a.htm

Ironically, despite you guys claiming that getting IMF bailout means giving yourself up to the banks, the main success of the bailout was because IMF made sure the exact opposite happened, by forcing the failing banks in Iceland to eat their own shit, instead of forcing the people to bail out the banks. As a result, Iceland recovered substantially, was shielded from the continuing collapsed in Europe (Greece, Cyprus, etc.), and is paying back the IMF loan early.

Hmmm. Found an interesting collection of protest meetings from all over Europe against fascism in Ukraine:
http://iskatel-2014.livejournal.com/

From the same source (http://iskatel-2014.livejournal.com/49098.html), in Herson region there are strong sentiments for joining Crimea, as people in Herson are fed up with pro-American Kiev bunch. There is also economic reason for it, as most of Herson production was geared towards Crimea.

Ha! Poroshenko... Change one letter and you get "porosenko", which is literally this:

Kadyrov is flexing his muscles. He said that Chechnia can send up to 74000 fighters to Ukraine "to clean up the mess":
I think that he trolls too hard. Cheesy Such amount of troops would be enough for Ukraine and the the rest of neighbour countries like baltic states, despite the presence of NATO troops there.

Ukraine's puppet masters

http://www.eurozine.com/articles/2014-05-15-leshchenko-en.html

Kolomoisky warmed to the opposition side so openly because, after taking over the presidency, Yanukovich treated the interests of local elites with contempt. He appointed a manager from Akhmetov's Donetsk corporations as governor of Dnepropetrovsk. The elites of the region, which had run Ukraine for years, took this as an affront and looked out for opportunities to get their own back. After Yanukovich was overthrown, Kolomoisky took over as head of the Dnepropetrovsk region. His appointment to this position of power was explained in terms of a need to suppress the separatist mood in the region.

Good one! The final quote nails it:

Quote
What is left to do then for Washington is to create more chaos in Ukraine and to hope that somehow out of total chaos some new chance may arise to stick it to Russia. For lack of real direction that strategy is also unlikely to succeed.

Let’s hope it fails sooner rather than later. Fewer dead civilians that way.
