I hope it's ok to ask, can I please get 1 merit? I just want to be able to upload images  Smiley
You're not a spammer, but asking for Merit is discouraged.
I'll challenge you: make a good post, and post a link in Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source. Feel free to add a link to this post of mine, so you don't look like a spamming Newbie.
If I agree your post is good, I'll merit it.

For merit sources? Exactly 30 days after they were spent.
As a Merit source, your sMerit is replenished exactly 30 days later (I think up to the second accurate). If you've sent your own sMerit too, it's not possible to see which of those two you've sent.
I know that.
What I mean is something like:
Merit spent from your source will come back in 30 days on March 23, 2019, 10:06:06 AM.

I often want to send merits but I do not know when it will come back. So either there will be a date or option for sending later.

I've never been out of sMerit, otherwise I'd either bookmark the post, or post it here.
If I can’t find a solution, a reserved word will be an appropriate option.

Does anyone know when next sMerit will come back "30 days"? I can’t track the date especially when you have old earned sMerit.

Also, has any user made any script that makes you send sMerit later when you get them "something like +send later"?

Spend 3 sMerits on 01/04 -> get 3 sMerits after 30 days (01/05).
Spend 4 sMerits on 02/04 -> get 3 sMerits after 30 days (02/05).

Well, why that?
You censored valid merit transactions? If bitcoin forum is all about meme and April fools’ you should pass this information.
My two cents.

Well, theymos reversed them. It was all a joke and there were people who gave +300 merits to it that could have been sent to real users who are in need of merit.

Ah, I didn’t know that and this changes perspective.
At the end those April fool’ transaction weren’t valid, because were censored by Theymos, not by Coinlocket$.

I change my mind about merit system rules comparing to my previous thoughts, I don't consider it such bad balanced as previously now (but partially thanks to my wonderful community - BTW  I think our community deserve more merit source - cause our only merits souce is quite inactive lastly  Sad  We have a good candidature there https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/polish-section-merit-source-application-5117296 but there is no information about its status Sad )

This thought occurred to me recently:

If you wanted to implement Merit in a decentralized forum (ie. one in the vein of Freenet's Frost or FMS), you could do it in this way:
 - Everyone can, from their own perspective, give unlimited merit to posts, and these merit transactions are put into files which each user publishes via the decentralized system. (Like a merit.txt.xz which every user publishes.) Unlike on bitcointalk.org, you can also give people merit without an associated post.
 - For everyone who has merit, you download their merit-transactions-list, but scale down/up all of the numbers so that the total merit that they send is equal to the actual sMerit that they own. It might or might not be useful to do this via some sliding time frame scheme so that merit transaction amounts aren't just continually diminished over time as they increase in quantity.
 - Apply the above step recursively, creating a web-of-trust-style merit network

Then every user has a subjective merit score for each post (sort of like the bitcointalk.org trust system, which was inspired by FMS). And if you wish, you can assign people to be merit sources from your perspective by sending them large amounts of merit directly; these might or might not appear in the merit-transactions-list which you publish.

I think you have to make a separate section to post your ideas, they are getting lost in this ocean of information ( mostly spam) and people have to intentionally remember that you had posted this good info somewhere, otherwise no one will come on a page 297 of this huge Multy-Mega-Mighty Merit thread.
Same happens with your good thoughts posted here and there around the forum. I sometimes read your post history to find some really good gems, but again they are all lost and almost forgotten. Sad.

I finished my newest topic on intra-day merits
Observation on interquartile range of intra-day merits with time series plot
As you can see in the time series plot, the medians of intra-day merits have been very stable over time, it has fluctuated in a very narrow range.
The range from q1 (p25) to q3 (p75) represents for 50 percent of intra-day merits. Days have intra-day merits below q1 (p25) or q3 (p75) considered as potential or extremely potential outliers

There is abstract of my last week analyses, on both intraday and intraweek merits.
ABSTRACT

Intra-day merits:
Notes:
- The part of the asbstract describes figures of intraday merits over the period from 19/2/2018 to 01/4/2019 (truncated dataset);
- Days from 24/1/2018 to 18/2/2018 truncated due to highly potential outliers; and days after 01/4/2019 truncated as well due to incomplete week (the 2019w14);
- Statistics presented in the post are for truncated dataset

(1) Potential outliers are days that have intraday total merits beyond 159 or 1127;
(2) Median of intraday merits over the period is 626;
(3) 50% of observed days have their intra-day merits range from 522 to 764 (the interquartile range);
(4) Friday [in GTM time] is the day over weeks has lowest intraday merits in terms of both median and mean, at 569, and 616, respectively.
(5) Monday [in GTM time] is the day over weeks has highest intraday merits in terms of mean, at 742.
(6) There is a flippening between Wednesday and Monday in terms of highest intra-day merits, with figures for Wednesday and Monday are 660 and 658, respectively;
(7) There are 26 potential outliers in total, and there is only three potential outlier days happened in early weeks of 2019, on 09/01/2019, 14/01/2019, and 27/3/2019, at 1161, 1127, and 1249, respectively.
<8> Minimum and maximum of intraday merits (full dataset) are 312 and 13018, on 11/2/2019 and 24/1/2018 respectively.

Intra-week merits:
Notes:
The part of the abstract use full dataset, only dropped last two days due to incomple week (2019w10).

(1)   The median of intra-week merits is 4510;
(2)   50% of observed weeks (62 weeeks in total), have total merits in the range from 3854 to 5487 (the interquaritle range of intra-week merits);
(3)   Minimum and maximum of intraweek merits are 3065 and 30949, in 2018w35, and 2018w4, respectively;
(4)   Seven potential outliers [beyond 1405 or 7937], all of them occurred in the year 2018.

More details can be found there: Time Series Analysis on Distributed Merits in the forum (daily, weekly, monthly)
As we can see in the abstract, with truncated dataset, there are only three extremely potential outliers, that happened on 09/1/2019, 14/1/2019, and 27/3/2019, range from 1161 to 1249.
