To guinaaa: I think you have 2 problems: 1 - the problem of starting this motherboard - I had the same - you should clear the bios of this motherboard (I used the jumper on it) . The second problem - no screen ... miner - you should use built-in videocard of the motherboard (change setting in bios of motherboard)  and you should assign miner to this rig. Sorry for my English.

I will try it! Thank you!

Smos will only mine 4 cards on 2 separate motherboards, h110 pro btc+ and the Z270p-d3. Smos sees all 5 cards but gives a message "Cuda: Device: 4 Graphics Device Not Selected" ? At wits end :*/

Good day

It has been a month or so since I tried it on a TB250-BTC+ (8 Card) Board and it did not work.  Is that fixed now?  Did not matter if it was Nvidia or AMD it just did not like board.
There hasn't been an update in over a month so I'm going to go with no...

RC2 = Release Candidate 2 = New Version

Yes, "-g 2"

Ok, I installed RC2 and setup a new work group using SGMiner 5.5.5 here is my script...

--no-submit-stale --kernel cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://etn.easyhash.io:3632 -u etnkB5oi7TadHKKrKf5d89M9XLAekyHXNG84Mi2j4Gi7BvohmSrx3CKKjAw2fN1WGXGGgUWWV3HfpLR U1BUAqwW219jmQJQJcT -p x --rawintensity 512 -w 4 -g 2 --text-only

I can't tell but I don't think anything changed. After the cards overclock it always says....

[01:09:49] Initialising kernel cryptonight.cl with nfactor 10, n 1024
[01:09:49] Initialising kernel cryptonight.cl with nfactor 10, n 1024
[01:09:49] Initialising kernel cryptonight.cl with nfactor 10, n 1024
[01:09:50] Initialising kernel cryptonight.cl with nfactor 10, n 1024

Then it starts mining away but at the same hashrates... It's still mining with one thread I think?
Is there an easy way to tell when I have it right? I haven't noticed a difference so I think something isn't working right for me.

Also, I see the prompt on the rig now to apply the DAG fix, (Im using RX 580s) I should not do that right? This beta already has that but its just prompting because it doesn't recognize the beta build?

Use this for best results:

--no-submit-stale --kernel cryptonight ......... --rawintensity 1008 -w 8 --text-only

How much RAM is recommended for running rig with SMOS? or does this depends on how many GPU's we have per rig?
If size of SMOS increase with time will 16 GB of USB flash drive memory be enough?

Yes, you do not need the DAG fix.

Try to increase rawintensity, 4GB - 864 or 972
                                         8GB - 1132
And use -w 8

If SM is similar to windows, then use 896 in SGminer (or Gatelessgate the older GUI/new sharp GG), both 570/580 FLY on this.
I have 3x Aorus 580s i bought recently, they have Hynix memory which is insane imo "not sure why people curse it". 2 of the 3 go up to 2175 mem with no errors (i downclock memory because i don't want to run core at like 1300+) i do 930+ easily with 1150/2100 the more core, the more hash even.
Even for the crappy strix 570 Elpida that i have (never clocks higher than 1860 mem) i get~850 h/s with the same 896 raw intensity, 2 workers, 8 work size.

I'm puzzled though about 390/290x in general. can't calculate anything meaningful shader based for them.

Hi everyone, I already have one 13 GPU Rig working with SMOS smoothly so far.

Now I setting up another  rig with the AsRock H110 Pro BTC+ motherboard, but I some kind of issue with the Lan Network Connection, and come to here to see if anyone did get any trouble like this and if it was solved.

At the start up of the system, the orange light of the ethernet connector on the mobo turns on, for some seconds, and then, it turn off (this process repeats 2 times again).

The SMOS starts as usual, and then, it stops with one message that is relationed with some network issue, this is the message that appears on the screen:

"A start job is running for raise network interfaces (5 mins 1 sec)."

When the count donw reachs the time of 5 min and 1 sec, the SMOS startup finish, but the SMOS can't minerate, and keep returning this another message over and over again:

"no screen to be attached matching miner"

Please, anyone can help-me to get this fixed??

Hi, i am having trouble with power consumption with SimpleMining OS. I have 5x rx580 8g rig, and my rig consumption was 800W, but after I rebooted my rig, my power consumption rised to 1200W! No matter what I set in simplemining dashboad (clocks, voltage, powerstage) is not helping. What should I do?
I am using dagfix img

Q: How to install AMD drivers? Extracted file, now getting "Permission Denied" when trying to run the script... I'm assuming it's something simple. Not regular a Linux user....

Hi guy's,
Anyone know if the 1070ti is fully supported?
I just bought one to try out and am having an issue.
It runs but the Over Clocking settings have no effect.
Also it seems to not recognize which card it is, see below.
The best and only speed I get is around 26.8 Mh/s

Can Simplemining (and Claymore / ewbf) handle 16 GPUs ?
Im thinking about the ASUS B250 Mainboard with 19 slots and using it with 16 of GTX1070

I think Tytanick mentioned max 15 GPUs
