Yup...  Very embarassing.  But if you read into it, it looks like Perez did something really naughtly at Monaco this season.  Perez was caught to have admitted that he deliberately crashed at Monaco quali to cause a red flag, deprive Verstappen for a chance at pole and get the pole position himself.  In the radio at Brazil, Verstsppen was saying something like 'you know my reasons, we've talked about this' when he didn't follow team orders to let Perez pass.  There' something going on behind all this.  And I don't think Perez gets a new contract after his current one...

My first reaction when i saw the race and Verstappen did not give back that position to his team mate Perez even though he desperately needed that points was also that Verstappen is such selfish and arrogant idiot. Then i read about that rumors that Perez crashed intentionally in the qualifying in Monaco in order to prevent Verstappen and other drivers to place in front of him. That back then happened when the championship was still completely open so if this is true then this really was a very dirty and damaging move from Perez and i can understand Verstappen if he still does not want to help Perez after this.
I guess Perez will have to leave Red Bull after this season.

The last race of the season can be so much fun due to the competition for the second spot in the standings. Maybe Russell also has a chance mathematically but it is quite low comparing to Leclerc and Perez's. Depending on how strong Ferrari will be, Leclerc can do this I believe.

If Sainz can perform accordingly and help Charles get in a better position then it's entirely possible, otherwise it's just another ruined run for the Monaco-born driver. He had a good run all throughout this season and always a nail-biter against Perez, especially in times when Sainz is just far back and just chilling. The podium swap could have easily given Leclerc more points and a higher chance of stealing that 2nd place, but I still don't buy the reason that Sainz never heard anything from the radio all those times.

Everybody knows, Verstappen is a great driver and a little man, the past speaks for itself.

I've also seen a TikTok video, not sure if it was authentic where he said he pushed Hamilton on purpose to ruin his race, again not sure if it was a true video or a fan fake video.

I think that video could be fake most probably. Because I don't see any reason for Verstappen to do this to Hamilton on purpose. Let's say Hamilton did something big to him before and Verstappen was very angry about it then I would expect Verstappen to try to destroy his race. Because he is really serious about this kind of topics as we have seen an example between him and Perez recently. Verstappen must have done that to Perez for a reason as well. When he was asked about the reason like whether it could be related to the incident in Monaco, he just talked implicatively. It must definitely be the reason.

I think it's a bit embarrassing that Verstappen, who is already the world champion, doesn't want to help Perez to become a safe vice world champion. I think he has already forgotten what Perez did for Verstappen last season, just think of the final where he kept Hamilton behind him for a long time.

Verstappen could have easily passed Perez, RedBull also wants the vice world championship title at all costs and for Verstappen it's all about nothing, because he had no chance of winning.

His behavior in the 2022 brazilian GP not only caused him to fall out with his current teammate, he also made a move that would make it difficult for the redbull team to choose a quality and reinable second driver in the coming seasons. Max's attitude is clear, he says, as long as I exist, you will set everything up on me. However, in a tight championship competition, for example, when there are good mercedes ferrari rivals, perhaps he may have lost the support he could get from Perez. He could think about it and give way. He may have done something to cause trouble for himself, not just for Perez. But that's Max.

There is still time to fix what he did in the last race so we should not judge Max for what he did in Brazil. He was fighting his way and it was Hamilton that put him out of the race despite race commissars saying otherwise. All of the people here who are making it look like it is the end of the world if he does not help Perez gets the second place, remember that only the first place is for the winner and the second place as has been said by a couple of F1 drivers is for dogs,it means absolutely nothing,in fact if someone wins it with the same car as the winner of the season it just emphasizes that this second driver is not that capable because he did not put up a fight with his team mate despite having the same car.

Perez is just another Barrichello and another Bottas to winners like Schumacher and Hamilton so I don't know why we should make it this big if he does not become 2nd overall and most probably he will in the last the race.

Checo deserved that extra 2 points. I don't care what Max gave as his reason for not giving up the position and I understand that he may feel like he has given his reasons to the team for not doing something like that or whatever, but I do not care and so doesn't tens of thousands if not millions of people as well.

We all seen Perez keeping Hamilton at bay and slowing him down for 10 seconds last year on the very last race which allowed Max to be very close to win the race after safety car, without Checo then there wouldn't be a championship last year, and yet for some reason Max was mad and didn't give up the position, which will cause a lot of people to stop being his fan, that’s a terrible move.

Funny that there was another incident between Perez and Verstappen. Who would be right here? You should never tolerate that kind of behavior from either driver. In my opinion, that is unprofessional. The public and people on TV see and hear that happening too. But hey, they are and remain human beings and they all have emotions. It seemed as if Verstappen did not want Perez. Don't know if that will affect future races. Verstappen is a bad loser, but often he wins. Nice win from Russell (finally)

Things are going really bad between Verstappen and Perez indeed. I think that both drivers have burned the bridges from now on. Perez was disappointed and Verstappen didn't even care about it. Maybe Verstappen is the champion and the most important driver for the team also. But this doesn't give the right of being disrespectful against his teammate. Perez helped Verstappen a lot for him to win the championship last season. Especially the last race of the season is a great example for that.

I don't think Perez will be this much helpful from now on. I know that the team calls are still very important but Perez might not be this much soft even against them also.

I don't think anyone should give back their own position. But here Verstappen didn't rise to that position by himself, he was ahead tactically, but he couldn't catch the front group, so the tactic didn't work. Normally I'm against such relocations, but here Verstappen should have given his place back. If such tactics will not be implemented, why do teams compete with two pilots? Then everyone race alone.
On the other hand, it was funny that Leclerc wanted a position when there was little difference between him and Alonso. In such a situation, relocating would be quite risky. Moreover, the podium was Sainz's right. It was a strange request, but luckily it went unanswered.

Great race! Congrats to George Russell, he finally got his first win. He was so happy, I'm glad to see him like this, he well deserved it. Hamilton took second place and Mercedes do the double. It's their first win this season, feels weird after long years of domination, they could only get one win in last races. Next year they will be better. Sainz got third place and Leclerc in fourth, we heard funny convos about replacing places. But neither Ferrari nor RBR racers made that move. I think it's against the spirit of the race anyway. Hamilton got the driver of the day vote but Alonso also had a great race and finish fifth. He needs  to drive a better car, that's for sure.
Verstappen and Hamilton bumped into each other, Leclerc and Norris also bumped into each other, this moment was lucky for Russell because Verstappen and Norris were hit with a 5-second penalty. I saw on the podium that Russell was very happy with his first win since 2019 and the Mercedes team's first win of the season.

I think that I agree with Verstappen this time when in the radio he was communicated a 5 seconds penalty for causing a collision and he replied "Where they wanted me to go" and for me he was right, there was no space left from Hamilton but like Verstappen said soon after, whatever it is of no importance this 5 seconds penalty as he is already Champion.

Maybe he should have let Perez pass but I am sure in the last race Perez will be helped by all the team to be in front of Leclerc to get that second place, which honestly I find it of at least importance.

Russel deserved the win today, he got a superb weekend.
So we can assume the simulation was true.

When they change the directive n°39 Mercedes gained with no improvements 0.6-0.8 of seconds while Ferrari got a "penalty" of 0.5 sec.

Easy game easy life.

Also not sure it is the final podium with Sainz under investigation.

The sprint race was basically a proof that Magnussen would not be able to keep his position to a good level. I hoped he would be at least top 5 but that’s fine I guess. He would have hard time getting some points in the race as well, but if he races well and they don't make any strategy mistakes and maybe there are some crashes, he could finish in top 10, even maybe 7th or 8th if all goes according to the plan. Outside of that I think Max is not going to do that badly, during the sprint he didn't do so well, but I think it was all due to the wing problem, I think with him being much more ready this time and probably not going to face anyone else with different tire set, he is going to be winner easily.

Indeed, simply great race. First Russel win - well deserved. Meanwhile it's very likely that Hamilton will end season without a win for the first time in his career.
I'm very disappointed about what Verstappen did in the end. He is champion already, he didn't even fighted for podium today, but no, he didn't agreed change position with Perez. Checo is fighting for 2nd place in championship and every point matters for him. Though, I can't say that I'm surprised about Verstappen.
While it looked ridiculuous when Leclerc were asking Sainz to change position. C'mon, you're 4 seconds behind Sainz and you have Alonso right behind you, how you imagine such thing to happen?
While Alonso, another amazing performance from him

A great race has finally finished. The Brazil GP gave us just much more than I expected. Hamilton was voted for the driver of the day and he totally deserved it too. Because despite Verstappen's dirty attack, he still stayed in the race and continued to fight hard. This ambition helped him finish in the second place. I'm really happy for Russell as this was his first ever GP win in F1. His best record was being the 2nd before this. He also deserved the win from the beginning to the end by a clean race.

Perez was very unfortunate in this race. Because he was caught with medium tyres to the safety car. Leclerc, Sainz and Alonso all made use of this advantage by getting soft tyres. They all overtook Perez easily. Leclerc has got ahead of Perez once again by only one point now in the standings. If Verstappen let Perez pass then Perez would have still kept being ahead.

The safety car!

Too many variables on this day, don't know who can win now.
Russell has a big chance but Hamilton with bite his back.

Sainz 4th should be able to overtake Perez now.
