How Ferrari keeps failing every single time.

This is embarrassing

I don't know if it's just an excuse, but I've been reading that Ferrari is justifying the poor performance by the fact that they are focused on developing a "new car" for the next F1 season in 2023.
One thing we all know... Ferrari has invested a lot for the 2022 season and many here believed that it would be achieving a better place (or at least failing less).
Will a few more billion-dollar investments make a difference for next year?

I do not remember much when it snowed to be fair, anyone remembers anything like that?
Much? Since Formula 1 is taking place most of the time during Spring / Summer / Autumn and races in Spring / Autums being in the desert / tropical countries like Brazil or Mexico, there's just no chance to see snow in Formula 1. Maybe a hailstorm can happen but a hailstorm would certainly result in a red flag of course.  Cheesy

Great pole from Magnussen, lets see how many points he can get tomorrow.
Surviving the first corners should also be important for him.  Smiley

It was definitely the weirdest one we have ever seen in a long long time. Sure the rain situation did make it happen, and Ferrari would have been lucky if the rain came a bit earlier, and there was no crash, but at the end of the day, they were the unlucky ones. In a season where Hamilton, Vettel and Alonso all failed to get a pole position as a whole season, Kevin fracking Magnussen got it and that's really a shocking thing. This was a very weird one for sure, and we are going to see Max end up passing him easily, of course, both on sprint and on the race itself it will not become an issue, but even the pole itself is definitely a great thing to be happy about.

Happy for Magnussen but if nothing happens the sprint race will end with

I wonder where Magnussen will be able to finish the sprint race. It is obvious that there is no way they are retaining the lead. But I assume he would lose a few positions the most. Verstappen should be able to start from the first position to the main race.

I don't think that there will be any driver to bother him much in the race as usual. Leclerc - Perez duel can be delightful to watch. Perez is starting right ahead of Leclerc as far as I can see. Maybe Ferrari are still continuing to block Leclerc's way by unbelievable mistakes but Leclerc would still do his best to beat Perez in the race.

A very fine performance by Kevin Magnussen to keep Verstappen from sprint race victory. Not that Verstappen will sleep worse because of that, but Magnussen normally never wins anything. It was actually a very boring season this year, only in the beginning we had the necessary tension when Leclerc also managed to win some games. But after that he has not managed to win a single circuit. Would Hamilton have made any plans for the coming season? It seems unacceptable to me to give Hamilon the same bad car again next season.

It was one of the very interesting qualifying sessions in the recent times truthfully.  Grin  Because we witnessed a huge surprise such as Magnussen's taking the pole position! It was a very special moment for him and Haas at the same time. Because as far as I know this is the first ever pole position for not only him but also the team. They will definitely celebrate this big success until the sprint race tomorrow.

In addition to that Ferrari were very disappointing again. They decided to try a different strategy for Leclerc and chose inters for him. However it was a huge mistake and he pitted right away. He was so angry and rightful about that too. Because after getting softs Russell made a mistake and got stuck in gravel. There was a red flag after that and Leclerc couldn't have any lap time as a result. As the rain started later on there was no meaning for the drivers to go for their second lap attempts.

Sao Paolo is starting today, it’s going to be a bit wild weather we do not know how it will be. People know that wet weather, like rain and such do make a difference (I do not remember much when it snowed to be fair, anyone remembers anything like that?) and that’s fine but people forget that too hot is a thing too, and if it’s too hot you don't race very well, and what is expected this week is from weather to go from hot to cold to hot and that’s going to make tires a bit weirder in the long run.

Let’s wait and see what happens, but I believe that Max will not shock anyone and end up with a win all over again, unless there is a crash of course in which case who knows what will happen.

Yeah, qualifying is earlier this time so I expected the drivers to care about FP1 more. There were 3 drivers in 0.009s and this was really fascinating.  Grin

It was a solid session for Ferrari, Red Bull and Mercedes all. Sprint is going to be more important than qualifying of course. Drivers can collect extra points in this session however having a good place at the end of qualifying is also important to climb the positions easier in sprint. I think that Leclerc might be able to get the pole position in qualifying. Verstappen has less number of pole positions compared to Leclerc (6 against 9). Ferrari can manage to be ahead of Red Bull in this session at least.

It is going to be difficult,I believe Verstappen is not giving his 100% as he has not a single motivation why he should,of course his ego as a driver should lead him to perform at 100% but even if does not what he has got to lose, absolutely nothing.

I see very close gap between the top 5 and I expect a Mercedes comeback in this track, last race Mercedes dominated completely the race and won the race despite starting from the back of the grid.I think this track is still favorable to them and most likely they will perform well here.

As for the race itself, the track will probably benefit RedBull or Ferrari again, while Mercedes will be a little weaker.

It's just a matter of who gets to post Verstappen, Verstappen, Verstappen first and wins the free bets.  Lol.  Maybe somebody could suggest that next season it would prolly be a good idea to include who got first in FP1, FP2 and FP3?  It would make the game more interesting.

Anyway, I guess the F1 fans itt have already lost interest?  I have too after Verstappen became the champ.  And there's not really interesting spots in F1 to put money on...  Especially lately as the rest of the teams have lost their motivation.  And there's no use to push it.

Besides that, Quartararo's performance is not good also, he has crashed several time which make him lose points in the middle session, so when compare with 2021, Quartararo has 278 points which is very low as he gets it in this session (248). While Bagnaia, I think his performance is not much different from the last session, only get more than 13 points (265)  from the last session (252). So what makes Bagnaia be a champion is that haven't a strong opponent, Quartararo is underperformance, not because Bagnaia is better than before.
It seems a little inappropriate to say that Quartararo's performance was also not good because this season the determination of the world champion took place at the end of the race which was very rare in previous seasons. Although it has happened but is very rarely seen in every season for the determination of the world champion at the end of the session.

For example last season where Quartararo was able to celebrate the world champion a little earlier after Bagnaia crashed at Misano, as well as the 2020 season where Joan Mir celebrated the world champion before the final session, as well as the 2019 season where Marc Marquez who at that time was still super strong thus almost sweeping all podiums in 19 series in the 2019 season.

So it must be admitted that this season Quartararo is a rider that is being reckoned with by other manufacturers like Ducati because he can provide competition until the end of the season because if we only look at Bagnaia and ignore all other riders, then competition in MotoGP will never exist.

It was Bagnaia's own fault that he only became world champion in the last race and not earlier, I don't think there has ever been a world champion with 5 retirements and without a technical defect? But it is correct as last year Yamaha has become weaker and weaker over the season and Ducati stronger and stronger, but Bagnaia deserved the title this year. If Yamaha has a stronger bike next year and Marc Marquez finds his old form, it will no longer be possible to become world champion with 5 retirements.
I still can't make exact predictions for next year because all the manufacturers are working to make their motorcycle engines better than before and of course Yamaha and Honda are also trying their best to create a better bike to be able to fight Ducati next season. And the prediction will be known exactly when the last pre-season test session is over or at least when dorna seals all manufacturers' engines.

Bagnaia's struggle when he was still 91 points behind Fabio Quartararo this season was extraordinary and even Bagnaia continued to take advantage of his good momentum to catch up points from his competitors this season so that Bagnaia clearly deserves to be world champion and besides that Ducati has worked hard and for a long time. provide important changes and innovations to their bikes in racing so that Ducati also deserves more achievements this season.

If you ever feel like it’s boring to see the same person winning all the time, then you can start to enjoy drivers from level teams and that would be amazing. Many people love Vettel, and to be fair his driving skill is unlike any other, it’s obvious that he would have shattered any record if he was just a bit luckier, how?

After his 4 years of domination, he could have gone to Mercedes if they offered a good amount or maybe they did but he didn't accept, if he went there, he would have won 8 in a row after that, making it 12 in a row. That dude is just unlike any other but in a horrible car, and many watched him this year, and many years before this, not win races and that is how you can make it fun.

He always expressed a desire to go in Ferrari and Ferrari promised him a winning car just like they have promised it to Alonso before. The fact is that Vettel also wanted to drive for Ferrari to follow his idol Michael Schumacher and got there. In the beginning he was fighting hard and he was even in a position to win a F1 season but at that season it was only his fault that he crashed a minimum of two times going out of the race and in the end of the season it turned out if he would have not crushed he would have been World Champion,so yes it is bad luck but also a bad choice.

Congratulation to Bagnaia who won the world champions 2022. I don't expect in beginning he is able to beat Quartararo on the track. As I remembered he left 91 points in the middle of a session but was able to rise and come back to race with a competitor. This is the first time after 13 years that Casey stoner brings Ducati, Bagnaia look have his spirit and look smart take advantage of opportunities by learn from mistakes. So, we have more racer as a competitor on the next 2023.
