So it is basically official now.
Latifi will be not on William the next year.

Will the goat be able to find a new seat?
In F1? I doubt Roll Eyes

Latifi is considered one of the most irregular drivers on the circuit in recent years, not just in 2022. Everyone remembers Latifi for the famous mistakes he has already made, mainly for being the protagonist of last year's championship decision, when he crashed alone, forcing the entry of the safety car, which culminated in the victory and the title of Max Verstappen over Lewis Hamilton.

I'm sorry but Latifi is too bad to be in F1, who's going to want him?
Racing world is one that is barely making any money, most of the time not even make money at all. Which means that there is a racing team out there, maybe in e-formula, maybe in indy, somewhere that is liked, that would want his money for sure. That way he would continue to work hard and be better, which he would probably fair, and make a comeback.

He will surely fail, but if you bring that much sponsorship, then you do end up working with a team one way or another, he will definitely find a place for himself. Like you said, maybe it won't be f1, but he will find something, even in nascar if he has to, doesn't matter where it will be, he is rich after all, so he doesn't race for money, he even pays to race.

Mark Marquez released an interview at the end of the race and he said he feel no pain in his arm.
He got 4 surgical operations until now from the accident.

The next week they will have another race and if it will be confirmed with no pain I think we can put Marquez as favorite for the next year championship without any doubt.

Dude's extremely tough and ballsy given his age and the amount of injuries he accumulated over the years of racing for MotoGP. That crash doesn't seem to be that bad but for sure the amount of stress it had on his left shoulder upon impact must have been really great. Marquez even went so far as to just having his left arm feeling "lazy" and even wanted to attack Oliveira several times during the race. He's a legend that still keeps on giving, and hopefully he gets full recovery before the start of next week's race.

A very unexpected outcome of the race and a very big mistake by Bagnaia for the championship, but he was very annoyed and applauded himself for leaving very important points on the track and that in the last lap🤦

Well I woke up early today and I was not at all disappointed from the race,I would of course loved to see Marquez winning but he could not keep the lead for that many laps. What I loved the most was Jack Miller winning the race and I don't know if he had won many races lately but the last race that he won that I remember was in Australia many years ago,in his home race when all the legends like Rossi,Lorenzo and others were also racing, the race of today in Japan it revived many beautiful memories to me.
miller was outstanding from the start of the race, he took first place on the third lap after passing binder and martin. what concerns me is the burning Suzuki motorcycle, it seems Suzuki's safety is very vulnerable

the regret is how bagnaia crashed on the last lap, even though he could have finished in 8th position

That is some mistake which cannot be forgiven as he is playing his chances of winning the MotoGP season down a lot.He should have been happy with whatever position he would have got in order to save the race.He saw that he could not have done much because this was not a track favorable to him and he should have been a calculator but he choose to be a rider. While I agree that being a rider shows true performance but sometimes you need to be a calculator especially in such cases like this one where you know that only 4 races remain and every point you collect can be decisive.

Terrible result for Bagnaia now the odds for him winning the championship are a lot lowers, he could make more points but he wanted too much.

We still have only 4 races left for a total of 100 points max.

Starting the race from behind Bagnaia had a tough race due to pressure problems in the front tire and had a hard time overtaking. This was bad development for him. He recovered in the final stages but found himself on the ground in the final lap. He pushed himself for a point and was out of the race. It wasn't worth one point in my opinion. Bagnaia succumbed to his greed. It would have been better to finish the race safely and i think he regretted it. Too much ambition can lead to bad results. He needs to make smart moves. I understand that too because it's hard to lag behind and it's hard to achieve success without ambition.

what happened at the Motegi Race was far from what I expected, it's a shame that bad luck befell Aleix Espargaro and Bagnaia in this Race.
Aleix Espargaro couldn't start with another rider due to motorcycle problems and he was far behind.
while Bagnaia was very ambitious to catch Quartararo until he fell on the last lap, this is very unfortunate considering that he is competing with Quartararo for the world champion this season.
but from all that, of course Quartararo greatly benefited because his two competitors Aleix Espargaro and Bagnaia failed to get points.
Today was like a lucky day for Fabio Quartararo because all his competitors finished behind him, such as (Pecco Bagnaia who crashed, and Aleix Espargaro who finished 16th who did not get any points and Bastianini who finished behind Fabio Quartararo). So this result makes Fabio Quartararo still lead in the temporary standings because the distance of his points is starting to increase again.

18 points lead makes Quartararo more comfortable in the remaining 4 Races this season, he just needs to be consistent to become world champion. and now the pressure is back on Bagnaia, even though before the Motegi Race Bagnaia was very convincing to be able to approach Quartararo's points which he had done in several previous Races but unfortunately he was in a hurry and made a mistake on the last lap that made him fall.
Now Bagnaia has to fight hard in the remaining 4 Races of the season, this will still be interesting because 18 points are still very likely to be pursued.

Podium one for Jack Miller at the Motegi circuit in Japan. The Australian racer with the Ducati Lenovo Team was successful in claiming four victories. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing driver Brad Binder, who managed to finish in second position, kept distracting Miller's focus, making his bid to win the race at the Motegi Circuit intriguing.
Pecco Bagnaia, Miller's teammate, fell on the final lap and was unable to complete the race.
What is very unfortunate today is that Marc Marquez as a pole position could not maintain his good position and was not able to finish the race on the podium because considering that Marc Marquez had not gotten a podium at all this season.

And yes, congratulations to Jack Miller who has been able to win the race in this race. It was Jack Miller's first win of the season in front of Honda fans, because Motegi is like the home of the Honda factory, but unfortunately their riders in the MotoGP class are not getting good results.

Of course, a fierce race will be inevitable in the Motegi Race this season, especially since Quartararo and Bagnaia's competition is very tight after Quartararo lost points in the previous race and thus the distance between Fabio and Bagnaia is only 10 points apart.
and for the race at Motegi this season I will still favor Ducati, I think the number of straights will be very beneficial for those who have an above average bike speed.
Motegi does have a straight path and also many and there is a long one. This is obviously very profitable for Ducati, but don't forget that Motegi also has fast corners and also corners that are very close to the other corners. This is of little benefit to motorcycles with inline4 engines such as Suzuki and Yamaha. But what will help a lot on the Motegi track I think is Aprilia because Aleix Espargaro is very confident that he can win at Motegi.

Nope.  Not unless another team needs a pay driver...  He will be missed.  Lots of good memes were made because of him.  Thanks for the laughs Latifi.  You make even the most boring races in F1 worth it to watch.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I guess the more important question is who gets his seat?  If it were up to me, I'd like to see De Vries or Ricciardo.
Every team would need a pay driver, they would be amazing and it benefits the team because you are not only going to grow, but you are going to benefit from the money that comes with it. The difference is that, Latifi also caused a lot of expenses as well, sure he probably paid for them all with the "sponsorship" that he brought in, but they would prefer someone with a little bit more results, Latifi has always been terrible at the result part. Look at Stroll, he is a pay driver as well, but at least he gets "some" results or at least got them until this year.

That is why I am expecting Latifi to be out, for his bad results and crashes, not the money issue. If he had like 30-40 points a year and maybe like just 1 or 2 crashes each year, he could have find a spot for sure. This opens up all the talks about Mick to Williams as well for next year.

It looks like the straights are too long on this track which might cause it to be a little boring for spectators. Of course this would help us see more overtakes but the track would just be uniform because of lacking many sharp turns. But I'm always open for new tracks in F1 as this might help increase the curiosity level of people in this sport. Having always the same tracks might start to be boring for some people at some point. I wonder if we will see Caribbean GP being added later into 2023 calendar.

I think I like the layout.

It has big breaks so it means more overtakes, but it also depends on how large the street is.

Fun fact it will be hot whenever they will race always over 30°C

De Vries has every right to the seat. He also became world champion in F2/F3 and he did the same in the E class. So that's not a cookie cutter. He also managed to finish in the points last time. It is a great start for de Vries to get a permanent seat in F1 next year. I once heard him say that only Verstappen and Hamilton are better in the same car. So he has enough self-confidence and is not afraid to race with the big boys. Nice for motorsport.
I do not know what will happen with Ricciardo. It was a silent season without any success last year.

It will probably be De Vries.

Riccardo at the moment has no seat.

I think that I saw today in the F1 Instagram official page that there were a couple of seats lefts or not yet filled in Alpine one place,in Haas on place,in Alfa Romeo and in Williams if I remember correctly.I wonder who will come at Alfa Romeo while personally I would love back Giovinazzi,he was removed because of the lack of sponsors and not the lack of talent while Zhou showed absolutely nothing except the sponsors that he brought with him.

I also would love to see De Vries rather than Ricciardo, his performance has been degrading since the moment he left Redbull and that alone win for McLaren came more because of circumstances rather than anything else.Yet there are at least 4 seats to be taken so I believe to place for 4 drivers.

F1 is expanding once more.

They are now talking about adding 1 more GP.

The GP will be in Colombia in the city of Barranquilla

~snip~

we also have a laeked image of the layout.

It doesn't seem like an attention getting track to me at least for now. Seeing it in real life might change my mind of course.
