Following the excitement of the Malaysian MotoGP yesterday, where Francesco Bagnaia and Fabio Quartararo shared the podium at Sepang in close quarters. Francesco Bagnaia and Fabio Quartararo are finally ready to face the real final at the Valencia MotoGP and will compete for the 2022 MotoGP title.
My prediction is that Valencia will be a difficult race for Fabio Quartararo, because there are two sectors of the Valencia circuit that can be utilized by all Ducati riders, especially young riders who are still hungry for victory like Marco Bezzecchi who during yesterday's race in Malaysia had beaten Marc Marquez. This makes Fabio Quartararo have to fight even harder because he is the only one at Yamaha who is able to perform well and this is clearly different from the riders at Ducati who on average can perform better than Fabio Di Giannantonio.

Quote
Bagnaia is undoubtedly in a better position heading into the final draw on November 6 in Valencia with 258 points. However, Quartararo who collects 235 points cannot be underestimated because he will fight hard to defend the world title he won last year.
What I admire from Fabio Quartararo is that he is able to bring the notoriously weak Yamaha motorcycle to compete with Ducati, which is clearly known to be fast in almost all MotoGP circuits. This shows that Fabio Quartararo has a talent that is different from other riders, because if a rider like Francesco Bagnaia can win the world with a strong bike like Ducati, plus more input from his teachers Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner while in Australia. I think it's only natural for Francesco Bagnaia to be world champion this year because Francesco Bagnaia already has more support to become world champion than Fabio Quartararo who is fighting alone.

That shows that FIA management does not give a slight f*ck about the rules and they interpret everything as they see fit dictated by I don't know which benefit. The Haas has the right to protest but by getting points for doing such things shows how small of a team they are.

Most probably this decision with pass on without much fuss as the Championship is already set and no team is really interested to know on which motivation such decision was taken, well except Haas maybe.
Well, Haas protest is kinda understandable. In past stewards several times told for Magnussen tha he have to make pit stop because his car is damaged. So, new Haas is salty and looking for consistency in stewards decisions. And offcourse, for Haas every points matters now, they're fighting with Alpha Tauri for 8th place.
I wouldn't call it small team mentality. We have seen big teams like Ferrari or Red Bull reporting their rival to stewards.

It seemed to be a boring race first but I really started to enjoy the race after one point. The start was really unlucky for Sainz. He was hit by Russell from the left side of his car and he couldn't continue racing after entering pit. It was a big hit to Ferrari at the beginning already as well. But Leclerc still did a good job I think. Of course Tifosis would have liked to see him getting past Hamilton also at least but Hamilton was faster than him in this race.

When it comes to Hamilton this was really like the race that he was the closest to a win. Red Bull's terrible pit gave a chance to Hamilton to take the win. But Hamilton was just the victim of having a slower car and he was overtaken by Verstappen at one point. They were on limits about penalties too. Both of them got their last warnings after this overtake and a possible mistake would have cost big for Verstappen especially. But he completed the race cleanly and brought the constructors' championship to his team.  Smiley
I believe that Sainz could have been a podium one if he didn't got hit. Vettel was another one that I felt so sorry for, dude was at the front when he got in, and was like 13th or something when he got out, all because of bad pit he had, he could have been fighting for a podium too. Hamilton wasn't just in a slower car, but he was also in hard tires versus Max being on medium tires, which creates a good amount of difference, plus add Max being crazy and nearly crashing just to underbreak and take the lead, and it's really hard to keep him at bay. It was a good race to watch, definitely plenty of things to watch and see which was what viewers wanted to begin with.

Francesco Bagnaia, (as he is known as Pecco) no longer has to work super hard when participating in the Valencia race as the last race of the season. Due to the fact that with a distance of 23 points from Fabio Quartararo, Francesco Bagnaia only needs to finish in 13th position to ensure he becomes world champion this season even though Fabio Quartararo can be able to finish first, but he still will not get the world champion if Francesco Bagnaia can get three unit points in the closing race later. And I think getting those three unit points isn't such a tough job for Francesco Bagnaia because he just keeps himself from crashing in the race.

Valencia has been a Ducati track for the last few years, except for Marc Marquez, and Yamaha have always struggled there, so the cards are clearly in Bagnaia's favour, even if he crashes, which I don't think he will, it will be very difficult for Fabio to win there. Martin and Bastianini are also candidates to win in Valencia. It will also be very difficult for Fabio if Bagnaia crashes, which I don't think he do, he will drive safe in the TOP 10 i think.

At any given race, locking the 1-2 position for the race means that you can definitely defend with one racer and then go full blast with the other to give yourself a breathing room. But Max will not be too much behind and as we all know he is capable of winning from any position, he could start 10th and still end up winning, it all matters how he drives and how others drive, if he is aggressive but makes no mistakes, while others are not aggressive enough but still make mistakes then there is always a chance.

I would say this is looking like a sainz win, not just because he has the pole position but also because nobody else has the same "fire" to win this race anymore, he is the only one left.
I think what makes Verstappen so successful is that he just minds his own business. He doesn't constantly spy on his opponents like Hamilton. He is very in control of his vehicle. If something goes wrong, he's dealing with his own team instead of dealing with other teams. If he goes with this character, it seems like he will upset many records. He turned 3rd from the pit and won another race, making it seem like it was a very simple thing, beating his two most important opponents. Double world champion. Thus he surpassed Alonso in total. The strongest pilot of the track with an iron will. The man is leaving the pit, which should take 2-3 seconds, because of the pit wall, he complains with only one radio call and sits down again after 2 laps. And it seems like he will continue like this for a long time, if things go ok with his team.

For Alonso I really was worried as the car was in air at near 300 km/h and I am glad he is safe, this time Alonso has not said bad things as he cannot say bad things against the son of his new boss which will also be his team mate next year, this is something I never liked from Alonso.

Hate such decision. If car was really unsafe to race, why they didn't show black and orange flag for Alonso during the race?

Alonso received 10 second stop and go penalty few hours after race, which was converted into 30 seconds time penalty and it means that Alonso didn't got points. Haas made protest that Alpine car is in unsafe condition to race without that mirror.

Even though the chance for Pecco is so big, he should take the last race seriously but he should not force himself to win the last race to avoid mistake that may lead him into crash. If he crash and Fabio win the race, it will be very a tragic moment for Pecco. This motoGP season is so attractive, Fabio was leading the standing for more than half of the season but he lost too many points in the last several races while in other side Pecco did his best in every race. Lets see and wait the last race in Valencia, will be there a surprise moment that make Fabio keep the MotoGP title or Pecco will take it because mathematically he has won the title 97% already.

That moment when Verstappen still wins race, despite extremely long 11 seconds pit stop. It perfectly summarizes current dominace of Red Bull. In the end Lewis tried his best to keep Max behind, but it was only matter of time until Max will overtake him. Now Red Bull oficially become Constructors Cup champions. Perfect way to honour found of Red Bull company Dietrich Mateschitz, who passed away yesterday.
Waht a performance of Alonso. After such crash, he managed not just to finish, but also to take 7th place and grab some points.

The Redbull dominance is all thanks to Verstappen as if it were for Perez we would not have seen such dominance,it is a clear distinction between the two Redbull drivers. The fact that Max won after that pit stop where I loved the irony against his team despite him being already Champion shows that he is a true Champion eager to conquer new records as yesterday he just equalized that of Schumi and Vettel with 13 wins each in a season, something even Hamilton the 7 times Champion has not done.

This and a very strong riding from Bagnaia and also from Fabio, the championship decision is now in Valencia at the last race, Bagnaia only has to finish with points, for Fabio it will not be easy, he absolutely has to win.
Yes, Fabio absolutely has to get a win in Valencia because that is something that Fabio must do in Valencia later, even though the Valencia circuit is not always friendly with motorbikes that use inline4 engine configurations like Yamaha. But at least Fabio must try hard to get a win there even though it doesn't necessarily make him a world champion this season.

The Ducati team clearly looks busy in building communication at this race to maintain their chances of winning the MotoGP which has been seen this year, as it has been a very long time they have not won MotoGP since they were last won in 2007.

We will wait for Valencia to decide.
This season the Ducati team has won two championship trophy units, the first is the constructors (manufacturer) championship trophy and the second is the championship trophy for the best team in this season, namely the Ducati Lenovo team. And the Ducati obviously will try their best to get the world champion on their flagship rider Bagnaia so that they can win the triple crown this season after the last time winning was in 2007 with Casey Stoner.

I thought Verstappen wouldn't be able to keep up and win the race. He is just too fast and the current Red Bull car serves him just right on the way he drives. That overtake is also a boss! Taking the inside and sprinting all the way to the end. Totally a nail biter but I feel bad for Lewis Hamilton for giving his all yet can't keep up with the bull. Well whatever, the guy dominated the F1 with a seemingly-undefeated race car for years, and it's about time other teams flaunt their creations with W's posted every match.

Also, RIP Dietrich Mateschitz. His contributions to F1 in general is a lot, and have given a lot of people to test their skills and their potential in a motorsport that a lot of people around the world loves.

Whatever we look for in a race, it was a much more fun race than I expected. It was a pity Sainz was got out in the beginning. Accidents marked the race. Just as the race was restarting, a bigger accident occurred. It was a miracle that Alonso finished the race. The car wasn't even damaged except for the right mirror that fell off after a few laps, he changed the tire and continued. Bad thing happened to Bottas, he was out of the race. We saw the wrong pit again, this time it happened to an unexpected name. Nevertheless, Verstappen managed to win the race again. Hamilton was very close but failed to hold the lead in the final laps. We saw three different teams on the podium again. And the teams championship officially went to the RBPT. We watched a very good race compared to a race where the champion was already determined, it was enjoyable.

Incredible how Gasly got a penalty of 5 seconds for losing 10 cars behind the safety car at the 1st attempt while in the previous race the Redbull with Perez got the 5 second penalty, only after the race and only after doing the same mistake 3 times.

FIA is clow.

Same logic as Lewis, weird thing is Lewis thought this was about the fact that it was because he was black, and he does have a point because to be fair black people do get racist people attacking them. But in reality, when someone dominates this much, we are not in the age of loving the winners at all times. Sure there are some people who do, but not everyone, majority likes to be fans of teams and drivers who are working hard for each points they get. Like Albon got a point today if I am not wrong, thats very very difficult with a Williams car and definitely a huge achievement. Plus character plays a role as well, he is not really very likeable person and I believe that its really a huge deal, if you are entertaining, then you will be liked. Look at Ricciardio, dude is underperforming all year, and still liked, because he is an entertaining person to watch, and definitely a nice guy.

There are some things going on with F1 right now regarding the Red Bull team. Max Verstappen is no longer loved by everyone. In fact, he was whistled in America yesterday when he was introduced to the public. Reason? Red Bull has used more budget to work on the car than is allowed. You could actually see that as a form of cheating, right? In fact, legally speaking, you could even question his world title and take him away. Red Bull has now unfairly had a lot of advantage. I think at Red Bull they knew very well what was going on, strange with such a large organisation. You know things like that always come true, right?

Bagnaia needs only 2 points not to be champions always if Quartararo can win the next race.

It will be an incredible result if he wins the championship and is the "first winner" of the V46 academy.

Yes, he is one of the drivers discovered by Valentino Rossi's team back in day.
