Ferrari didn't do itself any favors in the sprint race when Leclerc and Sainz fought hard for second place, allowing Verstappen to win without any danger. Also a very good race from Perez who has improved by many places, so he has a good starting position for today. The weather today could guarantee an exciting race because it could rain at any time.

Yes that was the case and Ferrari did the maximum yesterday to overtake Verstappen both Leclerc at the beginning, and Sainz soon after, but the fight between the two Ferraris made it very easy for Verstappen to go away and easy manage the race, however that was the max capability for the Ferraris and that is sad for all the fans as it looks like Redbull will win again and move further.Only the pit stop strategy can make Ferrari win and they should aim for it,however this will be difficult as Perez is starting fifth right behind their tail and he is a very good collaborative driver for the team.

KTM comments on rumors of the arrival of the GASGAS color at Tech3 for MotoGP 2023

For 2023, it's not just racers who are the talk of the MotoGP paddock. We also talk about group strategy, especially in the case of the constellation proposed by Pierer Mobility AG. A sign that unites the KTM, GASGAS, Husqvarna and CFMOTO brands that must be exposed in the approach of the Grand Prix that goes from Moto3 to MotoGP via Moto2. The Mattighofen folks recently highlighted the shining GASGAS emblem in the middle category. Visibility that should be total in 2023 with MotoGP…

It was a good sprint race. Verstappen won another one and as far as I know the number of victories in sprint races has increased to three for him. Him and Bottas are the only winners of sprint races so far. By the way the mistake Alpine made on Alonso's car was really hilarious. How did they forget such a thing? Anyway the driver of the day was Perez for sure after so many overtakes.

Not bad sprint race after all. As I said after qualifying, Perez is going gain most positions and it happened. Solid performance from him. Schumacher defending from Hamilton was great thing to watch. It's a bit sad that Mick didn't managed to keep Lewis behind until the end and get 1 point. Ferrari fighting each other let Verstappen to win sprint comfortable. But Ferrari should decide whether to prioritise Leclerc or let Sainz to fight with him.

It is definitely a shocking scene to see Ferrari racers going at each other. I mean not saying that you should leave it, but when the number one driver and number two driver are not clearly notified who they are, this is going to happen. Like Bottas knew Hamilton was number one, it was obvious to everyone, and Perez knows Verstappen is number one, no doubt about that at all. But, when it comes to this?

Ferrari still doesn't know who is number one. We see Charles as number one for sure, but Sainz finished better just last season, really not that weird for him to think he is better. Hell even Mclaren made it clear with their car improvements on who is number one.

In this sprint race I liked Sergio Perez the most honestly. Because he gained eight places which was really incredible to see. He made up for his punishment very well. The first laps of the sprint race was good too because we watched a really nice rivalry between Sainz and Leclerc. Sainz seemed faster but Leclerc defended him very well until Sainz gave up on attacking. Verstappen led the race easily to the end. However the race might be a little more different if Leclerc saved his real power for the race tomorrow. Verstappen is still the favourite to win the race of course.

Good recovery from Perez, still impressive how good is Redbull with DRS.

In comparison, Hamilton got a log of problems overtaking Schumacher.

The starting two laps of the sprint rwce was nice with Leclerc and Sainz going at it vs Verstappen but then at the second lap it then proceeded to be a battle for P2 between two team mates which was hilarious to see cos we know Leclerc is mad af after Silverstone.  Cheesy

I think Leclerc will really start to fight for every inch of the remaining races, be it vs Verstappen, Perez or even vs Sainz.  His season has finally now really started.  I hope he wins a couple of races and gets closer in points with Verstappen.  That would makes things a lot more interesting.

Today we are watching a sprint race, that's the second time this season. Verstappen is the leader again from the start. Leclerc and Sainz got a battle for second place. It's nice for us to see they battle each other but I don't know about Ferrari management. They may not be as happy as fans. Smiley
First eight place get points and battle for eight place was also exciting. Hamilton passed Mick Schumacher in last laps and got one point. Perez reduced damage and finished fifth. Leclerc got the fastest laps. Tomorrow's race will be very exciting and as Leclerc said they have a good chance in Grand Prix.

That is showing good performance from Ferrari but we will find it soon enough in the Sprint race starting just 30 minutes from now if they are truly faster than Redbull or that Redbull is just trying different setups.I think it is the true form of Ferrari and I hope they show it during this Sprint race,we really need some team to overtake the Redbulls during a race,a thing which up until now has not happened, overtaking Verstappen I mean,as for Perez he is just a good 2nd driver and I don't think his chances to win F1 are as real as those of Verstappen and Leclerc during this year.

The qualifying session was really nice to watch for me. I regret to say that Hamilton and Russell had a bad day but both of them are still in a little profit now. Because Perez's best lap in Q2 and all laps in Q3 have been removed and he went down to the 13th place in the grid. Especially Russell is still going to start in the 4th place even though he crashed into a wall and left the session early. Verstappen and Leclerc competed very well against each other and Verstappen is starting from the 1st place today in the sprint race. I think we will see a really good competition again in this race and Leclerc might even take the pole too.

Remember we will have sprint qualifying so the qualify it will be today in 2 hour-ish

Of course i totally forgot about the fact that we are having a sprint qualifying this race weekend and when i came home yesterday evening i was obviously surprised that it already happened. The result of the qualifying itself was not that surprising. With Verstappen on the pole position followed by Leclerc and Sainz we basically have the outcome that was probably expected by most people. Perez would have completed the completely expected result with P4 but he got that penalty and has to start from P13 now.
Also it was a pretty strong performance of Haas in the Qualfiying P6 and P7 are great results for them.

The sprint is today but it is on 16.30 European time so there is time until that.I think that Verstappen will have a very easy sprint race which will give him the top position in the end of the sprint and the first for tomorrow race only if he manages to get out first out of the first turn.Leclerc will probably go all in and attack him because he knows very well it will be the only chance to catch Verstappen,we all know that Redbull in race distance and especially with Verstappen is almost unstoppable,I have not yet seen any race that another car have overtaken Verstappen during a race.

Vettel had a problem with the lines and his record was deleted, but even with that he was like 15th or 16th and wasn't doing fine. Aston Martin should stop whatever they are doing and start doing all they can to get it better, like literally design the whole car from scratch if you have to, this isn't just working.

You can't have Sebastian Vettel on your team and watch him get killed in all of this, dude deserves to be somewhere much better. If he stayed in Ferrari and he raised Charles with him as a veteran, Charles could have been much better today for example. It's just silly to see him racing for such a bad team, he deserves to be treated like a king right now.

I was at work, so, wasn't able to watch qualification. Not surprised about results at all. Perez lap time removed probably is good thing for neutral spectators - it means that's he probably will try to make sprint actually, there is potential to gain a lot position for him. Now I watch replay of Mercedes crashes - Russel did very typical mistake in this track, while Hamilton crash looks a bit strange.

Both Mercedes were in the aggressive move, which means very low high.

In this case, a minimal variation of the vacuum created under the car and you are unable to keep the car on the track.

They were fighting for the pole, they tried and got no luck.

All the timers for Perez have been removed, he did an invalid lap on Q2 so they removed all the Q3 times to.

This will be the official start.

I missed Q1 and Q2 and caught a stream at the first red flag of Q3..   I forgot that it was going to be a sprint race with quali happening today instead of tomorrow.  But yeah, unfortunate for both Mercedes drivers.

And on the last runs after the second red flag, I really thought Leclerc had P1 in the bag when Verstappen had a slightly slower run at sector 1 and 2.  But surprisingly got pole after a decent last run at sector 3.
