I would guess that Charles with the pit stop instead of Sainz would have mean that Charles would have won the race, it's quite obvious to me. Yes, it may look like he wasn't that good by the end of it, but at the same time dude had one of the older tires while everyone else had fresh tires. This is why I believe that we are not going to be able to say who would have won if X happened and what would have happened if Y happened.

If Verstappen didn't slow down due to body damage, and Charles got in instead of Sainz, they would have been 1-2 that is for sure, which one would be one and which one would be two, I do not know but they would be ahead of everyone else for sure.

Sainz was the slower of the top 4 drivers of the day and he manage to win the race.

Disaster Ferrari with Leclerc, he was faster than Sainz with a damaged car and they failed the call for the pit box.

Have you forgotten that Verstappen was way slower after some technical problem with his car after pitting.  If it didn't happen he would've won the race easy.  So Ferrari got lucky there.  And they got lucky twice.  Verstappen took P1 at the start of the race before the huge crash.

Next race at Austria should be interesting with Verstappen not winning the last one.  Books still have him ahead at 1.85, Leclerc at 3.50 and Sainz, Perez both at 10.10 and 10.60 respectively.

Well not sure so easily, even Leclerc was faster than Hamilton and Sainz with a damaged car.

But yeah Ferrari got luck with Sainz.

In the first half of this season, the one who got the most podiums was Fabio Quartararo with a collection of 6 podiums. And let's see together whether they will all dominate on the podium in the second half of the season in early August 2022

No dominance in eleven races. it's like last season. Of course Aleix Espargaro is a favorite competitor for Quartararo. Their points are getting closer because of the last draw Quartararo fell. Luckily Espargaro was still able to continue the race and finish in fourth position. Of course I'm sure the second half is still Quartararo and Aleix Espargaro who will be the favorites in every race. Although there are likely to be a lot of surprises due to the difference in motor power.

I was a big fan of MotoGP before when big names were competing here, like Biaggi,Rossi,Lorenzo,Pedrosa and Marquez together with Stoner and Dovizioso at some point. These guys made me watch every race full of emotions while before the race I was impatient until the time for the race to come on Sunday.I have tried to watch again a couple of MotoGP races and I didn't find them as entertaining as they were when the big names mentioned above made races extremely beautiful and enjoyable to watch.I guess MotoGP needs new names, these ones that are racing now do not transmit to me even 10% of the emotions I felt when watching races with the names of riders above.

The halo has already saved the life of Hamilton before in the crash with Verstappen a couple of years ago when the Verstappen car stopped right ahead of Lewis head. That was a scary moment, and yesterday too it was because of the halo as we saw the car to make a lot of meters with the driver upside down and then jumping off the fence, scary moment. To think that most of the drivers were against it when it was implemented in the year 2016 if I recall correctly.
Yes, the halo has proven to be the best innovation in F1 for a long time. It has definitely saved lives, and yes including that incident where Verstappen parked on top of Lewis's head, and then flounced off in a rage without bothering to check if Lewis was still alive.

Yesterday race although started boring it immediately became interesting for different events that happened, but overall Redbull remains the car to be beaten no matter good gains by Mercedes.
Another bad luck day for Leclerc. It must be difficult for him to remain motivated with how this season is going. Max seems unstoppable at the moment, unless Ferrari get their act together. Nice for Sainz to get his first win though, I suppose.

Who is Verstappen's biggest rival in the championship since the beginning of the season? Leclerc. It is unbelievable that he lost the victory with a strategic error in this race, when he had clear victories like Monaco and Spain and a potential Azerbaijan victory. With this management, Ferrari can't even become a champion in karting. It would have been much better had Leclerc won the race. He was faster than Sainz with the broken wing. It would also be good for him to get a good score with Verstappen behind. His defense showed how strong he was.

A miracle, yes?
I also believe that every person who practices a high-risk sport like F1 needs to have a lot of faith and believe that they will always have a God or guardian angel watching over their safety.
I wouldn't call it miracle or help from God. It's level of engineering saved him. Without it, any miracle wouldn't help to save him in such crash.
Few more words about race. Leclerc have right to be furious. He still fighting for the title and he had perfect chance to reduce gap from Verstappen when he got little points. But no, Ferrari decided to gift win for Sainz.

Even though it's only been 11 races I think at the moment Epargaro is good enough to make things difficult for Quartararo. In several races he can always get points, and has been on the championship podium several times. It looks like Qurtararo has to be vigilant, he has to be consistent and think to keep getting points. Falling in the Sachsenring race cost him a lot of points and made the difference in points even smaller. Espargaro just needed some stability to get closer to Quartararo.
I'll straighten it out a bit, bro. Quartararo did not fall in the race at the Sachsenring, he was the winner of the race when the race took place at the Sachsenring. The one who fell at the Sachsenring was Bagnaia so Bagnaia did not get points in the race at the Sachsenring. And as far as I know for Espargaro who is in the Aprilia factory, he has only won one race this year, to be precise in the race in Argentina and the rest is only the third podium in a row so the points count looks so consistent.

Then Regarding Marquez I am sad to see the scars from his surgery, it seems very painful. At first I was sure he would make the race more interesting, but he was injured. His luck was very bad with several falls and resulted in him having to miss the race.
For Marquez, who has undergone his fourth operation on an old injury, he is currently recovering slowly during this time off and occasionally goes to the fitness center to practice with his younger brother even if it is only with one hand.

What a race yesterday, even if the Halo is ugly, it probably saved Zhou's life yesterday.

About the race itself, I'm very happy that Sainz celebrated his first victory after his first pole position. For Leclerc a pity but with the old tires you can not sufficiently defend. Also an excellent race by Perez and Verstappen has done damage control. The world championship still remains exciting, even if Verstappen has a comfortable lead, but the world championship still lasts a long time.

Seemed to be an easy win for Verstappen. Bizarre today also the start with that accident. Fortunately, Zhou was unharmed. Verstappen and Hamilton in particular will be disappointed with the restart, because they both had a world start and moved forward. Verstappen had bad luck with the car, but Ferrari has often had bad luck in recent trips so you could call this justice. I think Red Bull is happy that Perez is still 2nd, to prevent Leclerc from getting closer to 1st place in the final standings.

It really was a weird race today. First of all i have to say that the team behind the F1 broadcast did a really good job with the accident of Zhou. They did not show any footage of the crash until they knew that Zhou was fine, which was a pretty classy act in my opinion even though of course i really wanted to see what happened.
Verstappen was pretty unlucky today as he has won the first start and was leading the race but because of that big crash and the red flag they had to do restart. Not only did he not win that start again he also got damage to his car and could only finish the race in the 7th position.
I am happy for Sainz for hist first win and also for Mick Schumacher for his first point.

Whoever was involved in the accident is said to be okay. But if you look back at that crash, it was actually a really hard crash, thrown upside down with more than 100 KM/H over the road surface. In fact, it's a miracle that he survived.

But I also attribute the fact that no one got hurt to technology, the Halo is a formidable feature that should have been invented many years ago, and perhaps saved the lives of other pilots who are no longer with us today.
It's amazing to see that Guanyu Zhou came out of this accident without serious injuries, if it was a few years ago he might not have had this "miracle".

It might be one of the most exciting races i have watched lately. It was already the best race of the year. We have also witnessed one of the heaviest accidents we have seen on the tracks in recent years. It is gratifying to see the level of safety in F1 improve positively. Because the pilot didn't even have a nosebleed after the accident. Hola saves lives. I didn't understand why Charles wasn't pitted when the safety car entered. It was an important event that Perez came from the back and finished second. Max being behind could add excitement to the season.

In fact, it's a miracle that he survived. It's a good thing that some time has been taken before the restart, because of course it also takes drivers out of their comfort zone and concentration when something like this happens. Most importantly, no serious injuries were sustained by the drivers today. About the race, it was a nice win for Sainz, and he proved his value for Ferrari even more today.
F1 is a marvel of engineering and technology in every way. The fact that the pilots get out of their vehicles without bleeding despite having experienced such dangerous accidents in this sport shows how seriously the job is taken. Of course, there are some exceptions, albeit sadly. But if we give %, they prevented 98% of fatal accidents. We have to appreciate both the teams and the organization... Halo is a simple method, but there are no words to describe the effect. If not, Zhou's lifeless body was removed from there. It is also important that the vehicle does not burn. In that respect, they developed the tools and learned important lessons from the 2020 Bahrain lesson fire boiler.

Sainz had a really lucky day. If he wasn't called by Ferrari after SC, he would most probably finish the race out of top three. But interestingly Ferrari pit crew decided to call him rather than the leader, Leclerc. I would be really disappointed and frustrated if I were in Leclerc's place. He was so close to winning the race this time but it was like the same thing he experienced in the Monaco GP happened. This result must be still good for Verstappen as Leclerc finished the race at the fourth position.

Happy to see Sainz win but we have to accept he was a little bit lucky today. Before the crash Verstappen passed him but race restarted with same position. If Verstappen's car wasn't broken then we could've watched a different scenario.
This is not Ferrari's first pit stop strategy mistake, especially this season they had wrong calls race after race. They still managed to get the win though. Hamilton was the fastest driver today, that explain most of the things. Smiley
We saw Zhou on camera as nothing happened, that's the most important thing today, nothing else matters.

Sainz deserved the win today, but Ferrari has been screwing everything consistently in these last 6 races for Leclerc, sometimes problems with the engine, sometime with the gear box and most of the times because of Ferrari team not making up their mind quickly when needed to and penalizing Leclerc. In the pit stop through the Safety Car Ferrari should have called both drivers even if it meant for one of them to lose the lead, all was to play after the restart,Leclerc would be in the same condition as with the other drivers who changed tires to the soft ones.
