Aleix Espargaro has adapted very well to the bike he is riding, he has been very consistent this season and even now in the FP race this weekend he is getting a very good feeling by continuing to be consistent, in a few moments there will be qualifying and it is very likely I think Aleix Espargaro will be able to be in the middle row.
this season has been a big revival for the Aprillia team, they have played consistently this season to stay in the middle row and compete for the podium.
It is undeniable that the adaptation of Aleix Espargaro to the Aprilia Bike is now very big and good, but unfortunately it is too late for him because he has been on the Aprilia for a very long time, but only this year he is developing very well and of course it is very interesting to play. this year's championship because previously Aprilia had never been in front to compete.

this is a good thing for Aprillia in the next season, now Aprillia has risen very fast. this season they have earned 4 podiums and 1 time Champion, allowing the Aprillia team to be able to get more achievements this season with its flagship driver Aleix Espargaro.
I am very happy to see the developments that are taking place in the Aprillia team in this way the competition in Moto GP is getting fiercer.
I think it's also very clear that from yesterday and today when FP1, FP2 and FP3 Aprilia was always in 1st and 2nd place, it means that Aprilia is in very good condition, especially with Aleix Espargaro who looks increasingly competitive and always competes in front of the team. when the race progressed and Aleix Espargaro's points in the standings while also not so far from the current leader of the standings that he became a big threat to everyone now.

WithU RNF to become satellite team of Aprilia
The deal means that there will now be four RS-GPs on the grid from 2023

Together for the next season, RNF Racing and Aprilia Racing reached a milestone today by announcing their partnership for two seasons and renewable for a further two years. For the first time in its young MotoGP™ history, Aprilia will have a satellite team and four Aprilia RS-GPs on track.

Following the past successes, RNF Racing maintains its philosophy which is to develop riders that will eventually become the factory team riders befitting the role of RNF Racing as the development team for Aprilia Racing. This philosophy is in line with Aprilia, which will involve a strong synergy that will lead Aprilia Racing to invest in the partnership for the training of engineers, technicians, managers and, of course, riders.

After proving its competitiveness in the 2022 season, Aprilia Racing presents a package that fits the objective for RNF Racing in the long run and to be competitive. With the multi-year programme in place, RNF Racing will be a valuable ally for Aprilia Racing in the immediate future that will lead to the expansion and enhancement of technical and sporting knowledge. even if he makes it to the pole then too there’s no guarantee that he’ll finish on the top, hence I’m hoping that he can improve in tomorrow’s race and win so we can continue seeing him and Max duel it out for the title. Furthermore I don’t expect Max to give up in this race so easily, therefore I’m expecting a strong show from him and thus I have lowered my expectations on Charles in case he doesn’t win.

To be fair and realistic though it is almost impossible to overtake in Monaco so if LeClerc is able to get the pole position today and if he manages to have a good start tomorrow and is still ahead after the first corner of the race then it is almost certain that he will also finish the race in the first place. If his car will not have problems with the power unit again of course as it has in the last race in Spain.
That is also the reason why i think the race in Monaco is the most boring one of the whole season. Yes it is maybe the most prestigious one for whatever reason and it is the race that is attended by the most celebrities but that is not a good thing in my opinion because they don't really care about the sport anyway.

Keep in mind that if Verstappen is able to stay behind Leclerc in less than 2 seconds during the race we all know that Redbull is the fastest team when it comes to pit stops so Ferrari needs to be well prepared even for this scenario which is the most probable one if the race is run in normal conditions,no rain and no massive Safety Car entries.I personally like Monaco as a track as although it is boring as many say it is also unpredictable, change can happen in a fraction of a second here, you lose concentration and you directly hit the wall no way out.We saw yesterday in Free Practice that some drivers like Vettel near missed it and one of the Redbull drivers locked the brakes so a lot to happen in this race.

Yeah, this is true but I think 90% of the time who makes the pole in Monaco wins the race.
It is almost impossible to overtake.

This time can be different, rain is probable too.

Charles Leclerc had two great practice sessions today. He led both of them and improved his best time in the FP2 also. Sainz and Perez followed him right behind in both sessions but I still can't trust Sainz for this race also. Because he has been making very simple mistakes for some races and I don't know why he has lost his focus this easy. It happened even right after extending his contract for two more years. Ferrari really need him to race at a higher level to fight for the constructors championship.

Charles is at home here, he has an advantage and he is driving a car with a lot of drag.
He must do the pole tomorrow, no excuses.

I would also prefer for Charles to win this race,he needs it very badly psychologically speaking as he had bad results and a retirement when he was leading last race. This can be very bad for his mental health, another failure especially here in his home race would be devastating and I doubt he will be strong enough mentally to recover after such events that could happen in a consecutive way.He needs to get pole, get out first of the first corner which is easy here if you are on pole as you start from the clean part of the track and don't make any mistake until the end of the race,of course no engine failures or turbo failures needed to achieve this.

As said this is should be a Ferrari track, where the traction on low-speed turns is the key.

They can go lower tomorrow, with 70% of rain on Sunday.

It is easily possible that in Monte Carlo Ferrari have an advantage over RedBull due to their car design, RedBull has a slightly faster design on the straights and Ferrari in the corners.

In MotoGP yesterday Aprilia wore rear spoilers for a little more downforce on the rear tires in certain areas, wait and see if that comes more often.

This year the new cars are quite stiff, heavy and cumbersome in the corners. The new generation vehicles challenged the pilots in Monaco training. Mercedes drivers were disturbed by this event. Because new vehicles are closer to the ground and this increases the jump. Teams can solve the ripple problem by improving their suspension system. More technical work needs to be done on new vehicles.

^  I won't say that until I see at least FP3.  I feel like Verstappen is sand bagging seeing how he's just behind the LEC, SAI, PER after FP2.  He'll prolly show his real pace starting FP3 and really start winning the laps.  And if we do, quali will be veeery interasding.  Smiley   I won't be totally surprised.

It seems Ferrari and RBR are on another level again on this track, to be honest, I'm expecting a Ferrari dominance for this week.

The second hour will start soon let's see if they push more.

Ah...  Then it will def be another case of Leclerc getting pole at qualifying then Verstappen winning the race cos some dumb shit happened during the race.  The rain just made it more likely to happen.  :/  Can't wait what's in store for us at Formula Dank.  Lol.

And I'm surprised nobody posted the results for first practice yet...  It used to be a race.  Anyway Ferrari and Red Bull are not sand bagging here.

Rain in Monaco can be fun.

More than exciting for me.I am going to bet on some outsider to win the race with huge odds if rain happens for real in Monaco, with such narrow streets the Safety Car is a sure thing during sunny weather so I imagine with rain it can be much more present and this can of course change the course of the race.I will bet for example for Russell to win the race or Hamilton or even a McLaren driver,on this track the car doesn't matter that much as the max speed will be near 300 km/h at maximum so the rain can make the race extremely fun to watch.

I'm very happy for everyone involved, Vinales and A. Espargaro have signed with Aprilia until the end of 2024.
It's a very great job of course and for now I see there are many teams in MotoGP who have not finished their contracts with their riders, such as Yamaha with Quartararo, Repsol Honda with Pol Espargaro, Ducati with Jack Miller, KTM with Miguel Oliveira and also three teams other independent companies such as Pramac Racing, Gresini Racing and LCR Honda.

Quote
Aprilia has become competitive in recent years, and Vinales is getting better and better with the bike, A. Espargaro has already proven that he and Aprilia can win.
I'm also very happy to see Aprilia can be competitive this season so that it can enliven the front row during the Race and the Aprilia riders themselves also often struggle to get on the podium so Aprilia becomes a bike that will be reckoned with by other opponents in the future.
