I guess I don't owe anybody here any money?  Lololol.  Ferrari finished above RBR, but Verstappen finished above Ricciardo, yeah?

I think RBR could finish above Ferrari next year...  Wanna go at it again Ltu_btc?  Grin

Yeah I know but as I said since you are one lap behind he should have been a bit more cautious against the leader. I am no fan of Verstappen or anyone else, I just like real racing and I know these things happen but the race would have been different if the crash was avoided, not that would have changed anything in the leaderboard. Overall it was a beautiful season so far.

I'll agree the fault definitely lies with Ocon here, but then such accidents do take place in these races. I'm expecting Verstappen to fight for the title next season. In my opinion Vettel has been disappointing this season, he's not mounting a significant challenge hence I feel he won't be winning it next year, my money is on Verstappen to dethrone Hamilton. This particular season we'll saw Hamilton win it with barely any challenge, I feel the new season will be of Verstappen. What do you'll think can he dethrone Hamilton? Or will it be Hamilton season again.

@swogerino. Esteban Ocon had every right to fight back and unlap himself, but agreed that it was his fault. But Max should also have been aware that he had more to lose than the other driver.

That should be the correct way to approach the situation, I reckon.

I did not watch the race on Sunday but I wish I did. I am seeing a lot of hilariois fun videos on youtube and social media about the fight between Ocon and Verstappen. I don't support neither of them so my opinion is neutral but I think on fault here is Ocon.

Although you maybe faster because of new tires you should not crash into the race leader when you try to unlap yourself.

True i was hopping for him to win but like you said this is race rhythm and he just made mistake that cost him win.
However this can be very good experience for him and his carrier.

Verstappen was leading today and had great chance to win and then this accident happened:
https://mobile.twitter.com/F1/status/1061696911617404928
Occon tried to unlap himself but he hit Verstappen. It was fault of Occon, but on the other hand Verstappen didn't left enough place for Occon.
And after race Verstappen showed very unprofessional behaviour:
https://mobile.twitter.com/F1/status/1061716317231665153

It was sheer bad luck for Verstappen these things do happen in these high tempo races, however I feel Occon should have done better. I think Verstappen behaved immaturely, and I can't believe that the crew was just standing there. I believe he would have gotten away had he just exchanged words, but he laid a hand on Occon not once but thrice, and that's not acceptable at all he'll be banned and fined.

So, Hamilton become World champion officially. Not much what to say about this race. Hamilton had careful tactics today, because he only needed few points to become the champion. Verstappen had great start and won today easily.
But I'm so sad for Ricciardo again. He had great chance to be on podium at least today, but again he had to retire due to engine failure. Terrible season for him...

Hamilton had one brilliant season there's no doubt about it, but I feel Vettel could have given him more tough challenge. I felt Vettel was disappointing and so was Ferrari with their tactics. I'm looking forward to the next season, and hopefully other racers step up to Hamilton, I'm looking forward to seeing more close contest between Hamilton and Vettel, there're not many young drivers who I feel will be able to step up to Hamilton and Vettel.

@LTU_btc. There will be more sorry situations for Daniel in Renault next year hehehe. I reckon Honda's project for Redbull will produce a season winning engine.

I dunno for this. Honda made huge mistakes with McLaren but maybe they learn mistakes and they will fix this. Hopefully we will see some good action next season cuz this one we already know the champion.

This is a nice qualifying results as you see Hamilton and Vettel are on 3rd and 4th this should make it more exciting, feel Hamilton will win and take the title home in today's race, he's just been brilliant this season. It's  been quiet a long while to see Red Bull in the pole and second position will be interesting to see if this effects the race, I just hope Hamilton doesn't act over confident and throws it away.

Very good qualifying on both enjoy a little, especially in Formula 1. Can remember when was last time that there was both RB in first row, didn't want to look for it but will later. Probably in Vettel era.

It was clear in the qualifiers that Ferrari had an edge, strangely enough for me in this track where Mercedes has win 5 races. This just make the title fight move to the next race as Hamilton and Mercedes will have an advantage in Mexico. Usually they have done well there and also in the Brazil race.

That leaves Ferrari very little chances to win the drivers Championship title, it is more like F1 marketing that Hamilton didn't win in USA.
