I don't think that it was a good decision to buy these altcoins. Maybe you should sell them and buy more interesting. There are top alts which are very cheap so it's a good time to buy them.
I think that the best thing now is to save your coins to higher prices, because if you sell them you may not have time again to buy them cheap too
Well the only thing you can do now is to bargained what you had left if you would choose not cut loss you could do something like day trading and or trading it to a more stabilized coin then sell them higher once it goes up then store them in a USD paired coin then wait for the crash again then repeat.
All coins go down without exception, so it's better that you hold your current coin instead of selling it, the market situation is deteriorating and surely it takes time to be able to go back to normal all there is a process to get back up

Down by 60% actually means you still entered at a supposed safe level, a lot of persons that are worse hit have their portfolio dropped by more than 80%. It is really that crazy this year and poses a whole lot of threat to this space. When you are down by that much, you really do not have much of a choice but to hodl. I do not know anything about EDG but holding on fundamentally strong projects like MSP and KMD is not a bad option. Forget about them for now and maybe check again on January.
