I understand your position and frankly I don't blame your wife for telling you to sell. However you just have to explain to her that its in the best interest for the both of you if you can wait for the market to bounce back. Explain very patiently to her how normal it is fr the market to be in bear season for a while, if possible show her previous charts in forms of easy-to-understand diagrams to help her understand more. Dont forget to be patient and understanding when explaining

You're agree in general, but maybe this family need money to mortgage, to university to the children and they need money now, immediately! That's why people usually say that you should use only your free money to invest. In that way our wives won't be worried about money that stucked in crypto.

Selling all of your coins will only bring you losses and not profits. So it is much bettet if you would hold on to your investments or rewards a little longer and wait for the price recovery.

If you truly believe in cryptocurrency, you won't follow your wife. You are the one who has experience in this league. And if she is disappointed in you, i guess it is up to you how to make her understand. Cryptography is all about knowledge, discipline and most of all, patience. Tell her that doing this long-term hold will benefit you both. It is really a disadvantage if you sell all your coins now, because what you have said, you are losing on it.
