Question: What Is colonial mentality?
I was actually going through on my FB and I found this decided to share here let see what we can view from many people.
I love it when issues of national interests are brought up for discuss. I feel that sometimes, when we compare Naija with the developed countries we fail to be all encompassing. Personally, I am up for anything conversation amongst elder state's men that will take us out of this mess we have found ourselves in. I do not care whether the conversation holds in the Sahara Desert, the Zenith of Everest or in Antarctica. For as long it is something that borders on national development, economy empower and political stability, I am up for it. Besides,
I think it is a self-sponsored trip not with tax payers money. Oh God, I can not discuss politics in this place. When I see some comments I hurt badly. Please the bolded part of the quote. Who are those people in Nigeria? Whenever money spend by those people people belong to me and you, mostly the Niger Deltans. Also do u Know how much is spent in that trip? If that money is spent in Nigeria it will increase the country's Economy. Now oya look at this. The hotel they paid, the owner will spend it in his country which is making the country Economy to increase because extra money has been sent to the country Economy. Then the same thing to the food and and clothes and others things that were bought by them. If that money was used in Nigeria it would have a benefit to those people that own the businesses and the money would been circulated in the country. And any leader who is not thinking this way to develop his Country is not a good leader. A good leader must think this. Once again, reminder, any money these Politicians dey spend belong to the Nigerians.
This thing wey Adbicto post dey increasing my anger. I have forgotten this guys for a very long period of time. Since after NYSC. I stopped this arguments. Bcoz whenever I think about it, it hurts me badly. Any Youth support a Politician that is not supporting the youths, the poor masses and other lower class people is already my enemy. Please nobody should support any of those Politicians they are wicked as their master the devil.
Now listening: There are three phases Africa Politics. The first phase or period dey tok about di culture of Africans. Di wey we been dey do things 4 we kwantries. We bin dey eat 2geda, we bin dey killed twins, we bin dey married plenty wives, wen a woman gave birth, Dem go carry di pikin go 4 juju man 2 see d future of di pikin, nd Dem bin dey used Communism type of government nd a lot more, nd dat is called pre-colonial Phrase.
Di second phase is colonialism. In dis phase. Oyubo don come 2 di African scene. Wey bi say di following words were used. Balganization, oppression, subzigation, discrimination, separation and tintinbabolation of di echo sounds. Nd there were 2 group of pipo were in di parliament. Conformist nd non-conformist characters. Conformist characters r di ones dat agreed 2 shared any money met 2 develop dia constituencies, regions or local areas. Nd non-conformist r di ones opposes di conformist. So di non-conformist r called scapegoat, fools etc.
Den di third phase na di stage Africans were very happy dat di oyubo don commot 4 we region, na our fellow black man go rule us, bt ironically, all di characteristics u see in di second phase e dey di 3rd phase. African leaders e don become devil incanate 2 dia fellow blacks di way di oyubo were doing d same way our leaders r doing.
Therefore, everything Adbicto said is very correct. I am angry again.
