Comparison between the Nigerian 'e-naira' and the El Salvadoran 'Chivo'

After El Salvador became the first country to adopt bitcoin as legal tender in 2021, it launched its national virtual wallet called “chivo” (Salvadoran slang for “cool”). It offers no-fee transactions and allows for quick cross-border payments.
