It is better to buy only altcoins listed at major exchanges like Binance, Okex ... Those are good altcoins that you can buy and hold in the long term without fear of them being removed from exchanges, do not Waste your time and money with the bullshit project
With a high exchange, of course, it will have very high liquidity and the best altcoin is there. I only recommend the best exchange at the moment where many tokens and coins have shown an increase since the first listing, therefore this only minimizes your risk in other exchanges.
I also never care about altcoins listed at small exchanges. It's too risky to invest in these altcoins because they have low liquidity and the price can crash anytime.

So I bought an altcoin called batcoin from a cryptocurrency exchange website. I even withdrew all my coins to an offline wallet, because I don't exactly trust exchange websites. However, the exchange it was listed is now gone, due to a hack.

So now I am stuck with coins that have no value.  Undecided

Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

What do you think I should do now?
You can do nothing now, except waiting and hope it will be listed on other exchanges. And be careful if you want to hold some kind of that coins, which have very low liquidity and the risk that it becomes worthless if the dev team leaves the project and it is delisted on all exchanges.
It looks like the project is dead, so I believe this project will never be listed on any other exchanges. It is best to forget this investment and see it as a lesson in this market
Yes, I have checked too, so we have an experience here, if you want to hold a shit coin, may be you need to choose an ERC20 token, which atleast can be traded on Forkdelta (but price and liquidity is very low), instead of the coins with their own blockchain. If their blockchain shutdown, you lost all.

Exchange doesn’t matter. You have your Batcoin. So you can check batcoins website or twitter etc that this project is alive or not.And Are they listed any other exchange. If they are not listed on exchange right now but project is alive you have a hope.Batcoin can be listed on exchange. You can ask in their support or their telegram group. But if the batcoin project is dead. Then you are likely to suffer a huge loss.So check hurry.

There is no other way, you need to hope the project is still active and they must be listed at other exchanges. That's the only way you can sell all those tokens, if the project is no longer updated or operational then I think you should keep it as a souvenir.

There is nothing you can do than hoping that the project will come back to life someday, I think the team aren't that hard working, the coin should be listed on new exchange by now, it's even easier to list on idex, I think this project is been managed by bad team

You cannot sell them in the future, and this token has become worthless. You need to monitor altcoins on a regular basis to avoid such cases. Also, never buy shitcoin in this market, focusing on the top 100 altcoins in this market is enough.

Keep holding mate, the team have to find another exchange to list the coin, I guess this is a new project? Because new projects most times start with an exchange and later find ways to other exchanges? If it's old then it means the project team aren't that focusing on the project
If there is no exchage yet, then the choice is to continue to hold coins, because there is no place to exchange them, but usually if a new project suspends listing on the exchange or does not attempt to list their tokens, it will be difficult to find a suitable exchange, and even that will continues until the coins become junk and have no value at all.

It's not a new coin at all.
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/batcoin

It's an abandoned project. It's a coin from early 2014. There were a flood of new community based mineable coins at that moment and many came and went as the person who started it didn't continued it with and other people didn't bother to keep updating and mining it. If it was just the lack of mining, we could have hoped for it to come back from dead one day, but the project seems completely abandoned which would bring further more complexities in rejuvenating it even if we want.

Before you bought this altcoin, didn't you do any research? look at some data I found:

!<~~~~~[BAT] BatCoin - The Reincarnation [Stay tuned] ~~~~~>!

and interestingly I found your post:

Wow, cool project. Where can I buy some batcoin?

forgive me, but i confess i couldn't stop laughing, i know that it is a very sad thing. But how did you come to the conclusion that this was a good project? On the same page you posted there were red flag signs like:

Currently no batcoin mining, last block 35 days ago. Well, it is alright. Maybe this coin is dead.

Sorry OP you picked a very bad project, there are many better options in the market, why did you choose such coin? Team hardly keeps development alive, channels are cold as frozen chicken, there are ways to choose good projects and I think you should spend time looking for how

Why did you buy that coin? There's no progress on the project anymore and unlikely to become listed again in exchanges.

Sad to say you bought a coin that has no value. What you can do now is to follow their social media sites if ever the dev continue the project and hope they work on it again.

yes, doesn't have any value right now if you can't see it in other exchange.

What you should do? Go check the announcement thread or social media channel of that project so you will know if the team continue developing the project or they abandoned  it already.

If they have telegram you can ask there to when they plan to list it in other exchange , if there are other holders believe in that project in that channel you can sell it to them p2p if they are interested for buying your coins .

You should be asking this from the project team not us, the team can easily give you answers you seek, maybe they will list on other exchange? I wonder what the name of the exchange that was hacked is? May be it's even a new exchange, I suspect that the project is not good enough but I will definitely like to know the exchange name

You can do nothing about that and what you can do to to leave your token in your wallet as your token as no value and that makes your token totally worthless. Dude, you should ask the community before you wanna try to invest even your pennies into the new ico or project.

What exchange is that? When you have bought that altcoin? is it by the time you have bought it exactly or it's from a long time ago? Once exchanges were hacked, they can say that they have no means to retrieve the funds of their users. But if they will count themselves accountable, they have to do a refund. In your case, it seems that they have no intention of returning the funds. Name the exchange and let's see if they are telling the truth that they have been hacked.

This is the problem that is often mention in trading section and in tips for all or newbie traders - do not make a trade without a proper research.
What was the reason to buy this altcoin ? I'll answer - sell and get profit. So why do you really withdraw it from exchange ? Such altcoins never hold for a long time. Second - why dont you check if it is traded somewhere else when you withdraw ? There always must be a Plan B.

Now, as people say, you are married with your Batcoin.

It is wise rule never not keep your cryptocurrencies on an exchange, your best bet is to use an offline hardware wallet. If your altcoin is a good project, the team will definitely list on another exchange.

What exchange it was listed?

No exchange so there's no value for now, unless that's an ETH token where you can trade it in a decentralized exchange.
Everything is actually depending on how the developers will work, but if it's just a scam coin, don't expect anything good from it as the devs can't afford to list that in good exchange and will just disappear and will create a new scam project again.

The project actually exist as we can see it here - https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/batcoin, but no necessary information yet.
