FYI, newcomers!
Did you know you can mine NXT (and buy Ardor with it on the Nxt Asset Exchange!) in the Lucky node project?
Computational and bandwidth requirements are very low - some users run it on a Raspberry Pi.
Run the node 24/7 or as often as you can while you work or play.
Join in with the over 100 nodes that are already in the project.

i did not receive a payment since 8/3/2017 8:39:04. is this still active and payments are done? or stopped because of ICO?

Dunno about Bytom... but Ethereum seems to have the same idea now also. They call them baby-chains.

Their solution however looks a bit different and is more similar to Lightning - that means also that it's less trustless than ARDR's childchains. I must investigate it, however, a bit more.

What is the value of NXT vs ARDR ? My understanding is that ARDR is a NXT2.0, therefore my gut feeling is to move my NXT to ARDR asap. (And them see what I do regarding IGNIS...)

If you hold your NXT you will get 1 IGNIS for 2 NXT. I expect ARDR and IGNIS being worth about the same in the moment of the snapshot, so I assume that the "equilibrium price" of NXT before the IGNIS snapshot should be about 0,5 ARDR. Anything below that should be a buying opportunity (and more so if this price is reached before the next ICO stages). At this moment, NXT is worth about 0,7 to 0,8 ARDR.

Thanks.
I had dumped my NXT a few days ago at 0.000029 and bought ARDR at 0.000035 at the time.
I want to see if I had made a mistake.

I will stick with NXT, looking for another ride..
holding only few amount of ARDR

Yeah, at this moment I see it as very undervalued. Ardor and Nxt are not yet in shape to be in the top 10, but "in the 50s" is definitely too low for the potential.
The ICO so far already secured more funding for development and marketing. That was one of the greatest weaknesses of Ardor/Nxt so far. The business plan seems good in my opinion - that clients could use their own currencies without having to meddle with a network or with the value of the main chain is as of now unique and very practical.

Of course a lot of the mid term price depends on BTC. If it continues to rally it would be bad for alts. Considering though that we had great gains, and that the FUD about Segwit2x is starting, I think that Bitcoin will plateau. Then that should mean a lot of the investors will seek the alts again.
I predict a medium sized rally for the next weeks. Let's see.

This trend curve (go to "7 days" or "1 month") on Coinmarketcap looks like a short term bottom, at least in BTC (~2500 satoshi). Maybe it's a good moment now to buy back, that could be the lowest point before round 2 of the Ignis ICO.

It could also be a good opportunity to buy ARDR that is also pretty cheap, although there the down trend in BTC has not been broken still, but the dollar price has stabilized.

I am planning to buy some nxt the price is very cheap , remember in june it was around 8K sat each one , i will not be surprise if price will rise soon!

For most of Altcoins, the present price is much lower than the on in June.
This is because of the late BTC rally. Most of the alts are still holding their dollar value though. Once BTC settles we will see another round of price increase.

What happened to NXT? the price is going down everyday. It's cheaper than ARDR now.
It should be cheaper than ARDR. What surprises me much more is the low price of ARDR.

I think the relatively low ARDR price is due to some traders associating it directly with NXT, and when NXT falls then ARDR also falls because of this effect, without knowing about the IGNIS snapshot. Also, in the past weeks there were more negative news about the platform, due to the ICO labeled as unfair by many (although I consider it a technical problem).

For a "healthy" relation between ARDR and NXT prices, please read these two posts:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.20880088
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.20942572

tl;dr: NXT price, after the ICO, should be about half the ARDR price (explanations in the linked posts).

I had dumped my NXT a few days ago at 0.000029 and bought ARDR at 0.000035 at the time.
I want to see if I had made a mistake.

I think it is not a mistake if you are not planning to participate in the ICO. You could also have bought the ARDR directly in the NXT asset exchange.

Jelurida will beat them to the market though. Hopefully that advantage will pay off.
