Can we please have some updates from the DEV about technical progress (aside from just logos, etc). What happens if ZERO COIN is not released in the near term? Will you be working on anonymity innovations on your own?

Look at the market value of Anoncoin and Darkcoin. Darkcoin is 30 times more. Now. From $5 000 they could make $150 000 if they stayed committed to the idea of Zerocoin. But seems to me they have much better jobs than to work on this project anymore.

If anyone can read out this ?

https://github.com/Anoncoin/ufo_client/commit/526f590ebcaaf3abab9d3f4a37ff77b237e052be

Something is complete, it is a good sign!  : )

I'm waiting the day that Anoncoin releases Zerocoin feature, at that's time I will tell everyone how much Anoncoin better than SCAM darkcoin. and the Anoncoin price will go to the MOOOOOON Smiley

I appreciate your fight with darkcoin Scam

Anoncoin will be at least x4 price darkcoina for start, and after they realize the true situation, drk go down,
then ANC is going near to the BTC.

Lean into the curves.
Has anyone in the last week withdrawn ANC for Cryptsy? I'm still waiting on two lost transaction to get sorted out but in the meantime would buy and withdraw some more coins if I can... I know sometimes it will take a few days to see the transaction but here there aren't any txid's. Just wanting to make sure I  could still buy and get some coins out or if I would need to wait until my prior transaction fixes itself...

I have had some trouble with delayed withdrawals.  Try clicking again on the verification link in the confirmation email sent by Cryptsy.  That worked for me.

I did a withdrawal of 45 anc a few minutes ago. Came through now. Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with withdrawals today.

speaking pr and streamlining the wallet i have some thoughts/suggestions:

i guess the long term goal is to get as many transactions as possible thru anoncoin, not just VIP tech people wants anonymous transactions... if this is true: simple info, easy set up and use is the way to go.

when communicating general info about anoncoin, TOR, I2P and Zerocoin should be mentioned together, as it is now in some places I2P gets all the attention while TOR (all caps!) is not mentioned at all. maybe "darknets" should be used instead, as it is explaining itself better then I2P/TOR.

there should be a graphic interface for every setting in the wallet (no need for text editor), every setting should be possible to change after being set. for example the choice between I2P/TOR.

TOR should be represented with a tab in the wallet Preferences.

as much as possible should be as intuitive as possible, but a pdf user guide could be included in the wallet download.

is the optional transaction fee only speeding up outgoing transactions or incoming aswell?

in the status bar:
even if i have clearnet connection (aswell tor-only, but not running tor) it dispalys TOR only connection.
even if i have clearnet/tor-only it displays DYN (random i2p adress)

on the startup warning "You are running on clearnet" there should be an option to stop and shut down, not only OK - go ahead.

the Multibit bitcoin wallet has a great feature that displays the current market value.

the startup splash screen is not transparent where it should be.

the wallet could have a darker shade of grey theme to separate itself from the other wallets.

firefox treats anoncoin.net as suspicious and asks for security certificate, scary for John Doe.

i respect that the tech is the priority, an empty shell is not good. but the shell is crucial to reach out.

once again, respect.

this is great!

to anyone asking about zerocash/zerocoin implementation just look at this post: https://sigterm.no/blog/6/

i know 2 of the devs have full time jobs, and also ring sigs might be something to look into if they don't do zero open source at first

Do we have an ETA for when Zero will be implemented into ANC?

just read a tweet saying zerocoin devs are not working with any alt for implemention. so there is no Eta here, all BS!

Anoncoin devs are not zerocoin devs.

Here is the most recent tweet from Darkcoin

Ring signatures are going to be implemented in V2. I will begin development immediately after I opensource V1

Ring signatures, as far as I understand them (see https://cryptonote.org/inside.php), offer an interesting way to achieve anonymity that is easier and more practical than Zerocoin: all transactions are anonymous, without the need for a separate step to mint zero coins.

Have the developers considered implementing this in anoncoin?

I was diagnosed with brain parasite
Do we have an ETA for when Zero will be implemented into ANC?

The longer we wait the more traction DarkCoin (DRK), Monero (MRO) and Bytecoin (BCN), etc will gain

Hello,

I have tried many designs and here's the only one I'm really satisfied with.
I prefer the question mark as ANC symbol rather than the A as the question mark directly suggests anonymity.
By adding a square to the question mark, it draws a locker and a A. So you can find in the logo concepts of anonymity (the question mark), security (the locker), anoncoin (the A), and coin (the circle).
Here's a few variations in black, white and gray:

And for those who like colors, I've made a little jsfiddle you can play with (just click the image to pop the color picker) Wink

I hope you like it as it will probably be my last try Wink

I like this!!
And not just locker, you can see A , all in one!

The last one is my favorite.

I like the last one.  Smiley

I like the top right one with the color suggestion.  That's my vote.  In general, I prefer the "?" one over the pyramid one.

Draft.

Perhaps you should remove the sentence "darkets, exchanges, and coin mixers..."

I don't think that there any "ANC coin mixers", and even if there were, these would always be less secure than using zerocoins.

perhaps you could change the logo to something not so illuminati pyramid style... found the logos with an ? better.

This is wrong.
There are certain attacks to check if a given *coin{d,-qt} has an address in its wallet or not. So it is still a good idea to use it over I2P, otherwise you can map the location to an anddress.

Ok, we need to know how it is, so I'm glade somebody from the team respond Smiley

But,

I get that info from BroTroxer,   and apologize to all for my mistake!
