same trolls different week. these are low life POS's who get some weird satisfaction in others perceived misfortune. welcome to the internet.
First - This thread is my soap opera, as someone said earlier, "...the train-wreck you can't quit watching...."; but the odds that AMT is going to vanish w/ people's cash
are decreasing as time passes. After they made the effort to answer about 8-9 of my questions earlier
I too began to think they are just poor at managing relationships, that they are going to deliver. Something, sometime.
Second - ( TROLL != SKEPTIC )
Third - ( TROLL != "anyone who disagrees w/ you" )
Fourth - the people who have been labeled 'TROLLS' were attempting to vet AMT so as to minimize the number of naive people who lost money
to a new, unknown, trash-talking company with poor comm skills and questionable claims.
Which is what it looks like when your community asks questions, ideally, the skeptics emerge for the benefit of the community.
There has been NO REASON to trust AMT and a lot of reasons,
both historical to this business and specific to the AMT instance, to distrust them.
Most of us want them to succeed, but they don't succeed unless their clients are happy.
All the pointless shit-talking is amazing when we are all on the same side here, ultimately.
Lastly :
AMT - Once in my life I worked for a shipping company.
Duct tape is -not- to be used, it splits along the thread lines.
Use clear, 2"+ packing tape and stretch it along the seams of the boxes as you
seal it so it slightly compresses the seam. And wrap it in a continuous strip around the box.
Then pick the box up and dropkick it across the room.
If the miner did not survive,
->you<- did not pack it properly.
Start over, pack as before, then insert into another, larger box with packing material encapsulating
it on all 6 sides, including the bottom and top. Seal as before, including enough peanuts that, when the
box is compressed, the internal box is under pressure from the external setup.
Then purchase enough insurance on the parcel to cover the cost of a complete loss,
+overhead for how pissed off your customer will be,
+ plus the time and money it will take you to re-do the whole thing
+ enough to make it all worth your while.
The amount may make the miner eligible for high value status within their system,
which may mean it will survive guys like I used to be.
Guys who run over CRT monitors w/ semi's just to hear them *pop*
This is how it works. Based on the pix posted by biomech, you are lucky if every unit does not show up like Kanduras'.
