You're welcome! I'm glad to know that I'm helping AOBT
Great, good thinking GazetaBitcoin, thanks for these details!

Ok, noted, I'll focus on finishing the translation of the topic Campaign to improve posting quality for local boardsREAD BEFORE TRANSLATING!!!

i found the following thread, created by 1miau, which might be interesting for the users from the local boards. in this thread 1miau explains how to distinguish a coin from a token: Important to know: Difference Coin / Token and shady marketing practices
This is an excellent topic to be translate  Smiley
If 1miau allows it, I am available to translate into the Portuguese version after we complete the other translations.

i have the following thread[1] for our aobt community, which you can translate into greek (@BlackHatCoiner), romanian (@GazetaBitcoin), russian (@zasad@), turkish (@mindrust), italian (@Ale88), spanish (@Porfirii) and portuguese (@gagux123) - the thread will be translated into french by one of our crew members
this 'small' thread is about the Icarus project that produces crypto collectible cards and is managed by me as ceo and 3 other forum users.
through the translations (first in the european regions) we want to make ourselves more noticeable/visible. i would also be very happy if you would keep your translated thread up to date with our news/updates Smiley

Thank you gagux, updated Wink

As Gazeta said, only 2 more to go!!

Thank you all, great teamwork: we are finishing the pending tasks at a very good pace.

-snip- so there would be enough work for our aobt guys if our boss (Porfirii) approves this thread for translation Grin Cool

LOL! you made me blush cygan Embarrassed Kiss

No boss, just a humble moderator: rule nr.1 of the AoBT.
We are all equal, the only difference is that we are from different local boards Tongue

Let's wait a few days and approve the next thread all together.

@GazetaBitcoin, i really didn't realize that. let's wait and see what 1miau has to say about it... but of course i'll pay my respects to everyone here Smiley

No worry, dear cygan Smiley However, we should wait for a bit until picking a new topic. In part, because there are (real) chances) to finish a few more of the existing ones. As you could see, 2 topics need only 2 more translations for being finished while another one needs only 1 more translation for same purpose. Besides, since we are in a process of settling which members will join or which ones will be still kept inside our group, Porf also added this:

This is not the best week to make more decisions, but I think that next week we should pick the new topic to translate in our local boards.

So let's just wait for a bit Smiley

P.S.: I know that for all those 3 topics there are already translations made in German and Polish, thus in case you wanted to do some more pro bono work there would be nothing to do about them. However, in case you are "eager to make translations", you can try working on the Polish translation for Husna QA's topic. It doesn't need to be finished fast (and it's impossible anyway), but if you really want to feel like "working on something" you could try this translation... This is just an idea, a suggestion, please don't take me wrong.

i found the following thread, created by 1miau

Thank you for this suggestion, cygan. I am sorry to say though, but as far as I know, 1miau put all possible translations for his topics to "on hold":

Unfortunately, officially reserving translations it not available currently

He even repeated this decision in another post:

Reserving new translations is currently not available.

He still accepted some translations, from respect and also because these topics were already in our list here and he was aware of this aspect. But other than the topics already existent here he stopped accepting new translations. I think we should respect his will, in this case...

Thank you for your involvement, gagux1234! This translation brings this topic also to the situation of being very close to be finished, as it needs only 2 more translations. Having in mind that 1miau's topic was finished too, thanks to Husna QA's involvement, the situation of our topics soon to be finished is the following one:

As a consequence, I made below a list with heads-up for the possible translators which can address these 3 topics:

All in all there are 21 possible translations for these 3 topics, but only 5 are needed in order to flag them as finished. From all these topics, the one about factors to consider before joining a campaign is the shortest and easiest one to translate, followed by the one of fillippone.

Note: I excluded the [BAN] translation for fillippone's topic, since LB / DS announced they are not able to make that translations, due to knowledge limitations.

Porf, are you so kind, please, to update it in OP and move the topic to finished section?

This is a short heads-up about translations in progress which are very close to be considered as being finished. First two topics have 9 translations already, thus 1 more for each is needed in order to be finished. Third one has 8 existing translations, thus 2 more are needed:

As a consequence, I made below a list with heads-up for the possible translators which can address these 3 topics:

All in all there are 19 possible translations for these 3 topics, but only 3 are needed in order to flag them as finished. Maybe we can do this Smiley

Note: I excluded the [BAN] translation for fillippone's topic, since LB announced he is not able to make that translations, due to knowledge limitations. Since DS also did not say anything, I can consider that translation will not be made in Bangla language thus I did not include it anymore.

Dear AoBT-ers,

I've just sent you a PM in relation to what we talked about last week. Taking into account the magnitude of the decisions to be made, please, answer/vote sensibly before the week is over or forever hold your peace.

If any of the members involved didn't read the last message and want to add something, now is the time to do so: please, respond in private so the rest of us can reconsider our thoughts before the deadline.

I'll make an important announcement here next Monday, as soon as we have the final results.

Dear DrBeer, currently we're only accepting members who are willing to translate pro bono at least once a month. Please, edit your application to make it clear.

Once you clear up the doubts I think that there won't be a problem to invite you as our Main Ukrainian translator after a brief internal discussion. As per Russian, the rule is that current main translators decide whether they need help and accept new members as back-ups or not, so that will be zasad@'s decision in any case.

I just found that 1miau's topic Why people should be using SegWit addresses has an existing Arabic translation: لماذا يجب أن يستخدم الناس عناوين Segwit.

As a consequence, the topic has now 7 translations, which means only 3 more are needed in order to flag it as finished. The remaining possible translations are the following ones:

Why people should be using SegWit addresses by 1miau: [RUS] [TUR] [IDN] [ITA] [FIL] [HIN] [BAN] - so this should be in attention of zasad@, mindrust, Husna QA / dansus021, Ale88, Baofeng / Yatsan / Peanutswar, amishmanish, Learn Bitcoin / DYING_S0UL

Porf, are you so kind, please, to add the Arabic translation to OP as well?

Good day Gazeta,

I have draft already before and target to post this day. Done translation to FIL : [Translation] Bakit kailangan gamitin ng mamamayan ang SegWit addresses

Thank you.
