Indeed, although the Crypto market is growing more and more fraudulent ICOs are established, we can avoid it by many different means.
We can contact and learn about Dev people. We need good Managers and Dev, plus a good idea that will make a successful ICO. If we negligently check, we will be deceived. Wink

I think that number of scam ICOs out of total is small. However, most of the genuine ICOs still may not be successful in the long term.

We all know that investing in ICO involve high risk but it is not up to 90%. Let us make positive statement about ICO because we are all benefiting from ICO through bounty rewards. We can say 40% of ICOs are scam.

I also think that this is some kind of unreal statistic. The question is how many ICOs have these experts analyzed...I personally see a lot of successful icos here

I am also not very much sure about the percentage. It might be wrong but the message that it is giving to all of us is absolutely correct. The number of scams has increased recently and it is far greater than the last year. It is better to show more care with every passing day. More and more people are using internet for fooling others and the worst part is, criminals are tough to be caught.

Well maybe more than 90%. I think ICO fraud accounted for 99% of the market. Currently ICO scams, poor quality ICO rustle up like mushrooms. Because they are not that tied by the government, not that tied by the law. So consider before investing in the ICO market.

These basically startups but getting crowdfunded through ICO. Make a good research about the ICO's team. You can understand it from there.

90% is a number that is too high I will agree on that but I do not have any single doubt that many icos or even the majority of icos are scams, and it's getting even worse scammers are getting smarter now they are stealing the good ideas of other projects to make their projects seems like they are more legit in order to try to bring more victims to their scams.

It is true for Ethereum based Ico's. But Neo is more safe about the scam problem. Some people are clueless and are depending on luck. They think investing is like gambling which depends on luck (which I never believe in it). And as you said, there are many ICOs which are utter scams. The problem is not within these scammers but with these people who invest.

its true!as long their ICO was finished they disappear!its difficult to distinguish scam ico's as they are well presented to the public, looks promising and member of their team are showing in the website!

There is too many SCAM ICOs at this moment. But you can find also the most profitable ICOs. For example there is lccx.io - looks like promising exchange based in London. Well developed white paper, experienced team, located in politically stable jurisdiction.
