Of course cockfighting is more cruel entertainment, which for reasons I do not understand, is enjoyed by a huge number of people. There are a lot of entertainments nowadays in which animals are not maimed and do not lose their lives, so I think that cockfighting should be stopped as soon as possible. Anyone who has ever bet or watched a fight can contribute to this by simply stopping doing it. When there is no demand for this type of fighting they will simply stop.

It's because PH was the only country that is so 'inventive' during the time of pandemic that they think about online cockfighting. And it become so lucrative in the country that it affected a lot of lives in a negative way.

Cockfighting though is worldwide as far as I know so there is no argument. But PH only accepts local currency so no, they don't accept crypto.

What a ridiculous way to gamble and entertain yourself. I have never heard of such nonsense as regulated and legal cockfighting in Europe. I am sure there are some countries that are involved in such crap. If you support these kinds of "sports" and like them, just step into the ring yourself and fight to the death with another man who made that same decision. That makes more sense because you both agreed to it and are doing it of your own free will. When you put two pitbulls or roosters in a small ring, you decided their faith, not them.

It should be banned and the scum organizing and making money on it should be imprisoned.

To those against, just accept the fact. If it's cruel to the highest level then we should not seen horse owners doing care on their horses or putting lots of efforts to make their horses fit on the race.

If you are still against at it, file a lawsuit on your place but good luck as no way it will be banned.

And the reason why our president banned it because of some cases that most of the owners suddenly disappeared and there's still no information on them until now and the rumours is they're are dead because of that game.

Operators are still there and willing to gamble with the risk, knowing that many people will continue to patronize the business. In their part, since the permits are suspended, they are facilitating without any implemented taxes. Thats true. Many families got wrecked due to their addiction. I remember recently the case of a family wherein the mother sold her baby only 9 months old to pay her debts due to online cockfighting. Though she regret selling her baby after doing it and even ask for help to find the person who took her baby. Its just one of the bad effects of online cockfighting to the gamblers who cant control themselves. I also hope the next administration will continue to banned this game.

TBH, I just don't know why they allowed it in our country. Tax? Revenue? You can get that in other ways but the morale and the effects of it to the people especially for those who lose all already are irreversible.

If you're from PH, you might seen some news from some bettors regarding what happened to them after losing to E-sabong. We've also saw around 30+ people that are missing just because of cockfighting. Some said that they stole money from other people. Some don't have families anymore because of it. Some feel sorry for themselves and regret what they did etc. As I'm watching these news and what is happening to these people, the more I agree with what our President did.

Now the Election is over and in a few weeks we have a new president. I just hope that this will remain the same and will not re-open online cockfighting to the public.

It can be a combination of tax and revenue but other than that, cock fighting is a classic game on this country plus the world now is slowly turning to online, that is why online cock fighting became a hit but its only sad that its career have now ended, it didn't last for too long but with the newly elected president, there might be a chance that it will be allowed again. That should give him an early boost.
