Yes, taxes are appealing but there are government which are really focuses or in concern of their citizens.

And because it has been rooted for decades and decades, people can't just remove it even if we know there are some mistreatment towards the animals involved.
You can just close your eyes and not participate in this kind of sports because going against with the culture is hard.
They can ban online cockfighting, but I have the feeling that it is only temporary because of the disappearing issues of its agents.
It will go back again as the people behind this sports are influential to these political individuals. Let us see if they can keep this protocol.

Depends on what government would really be doing,whether they would really be making some changes later on or making this as temporary which is something to be anticipated.
Its true that these gambling activities had been rooted for ages or been part of the culture which its really hard to believed on that it would really be ban or prohibited

Cockfighting in this case is part of the main problem - now with a smartphone in your hand you can access anything and a dilemma arises: if you ban everything (for good intentions) then this will be an obvious violation of freedoms, and if not, then even those who do not must access (minors) certain information/services will receive it. Thailand is indeed different and always has 1 superior step in planning and doing it. This is a new thing for me, maybe there are no sharp knives and crowds in one arena but cockfighting has always been forbidden by my religion.
