Why mobile mining is like a simulation. You will not get any amount of coins that will make you money. Yes it will be free coins but at the cost of your phone battery. Sometimes this is not worth it

Signed up for beta testing, hoping to be selected. I also hope they solve the pending / missing transactions soon. I know it is a small percentage, and that they are working on multiple things at the moment. But when you think of the over 100k users ETN has, even a small percentage means hundreds (or thousands) of users having issues (and of course we all tend to post / complain when things went sour and not smoothly).
Still, this is an ICO I am happy to have invested on. The coin has remained stable for the past few weeks, and I hope it starts rising slowly but surely. Seeing how Ripple managed to go above 3 USD per 1 XRP gives me hope that ETN could reach 1 USD in the future.

This is a great opportunity for those who want to mine. electroneum. I am more comfortable already with what I've had and from buying, with so many people wants to participate I just leave it to those are good or already mining other coins from their android phone.

This mobile mining thing is getting complicated. As i said before, the whole project has taken us all buy surprise in terms of interest and potential market. I think that the devs never tought in million years, about how huge this project is going to be and the snowball is just getting bigger.
The biggest success so far is great feedback from the devs and trying hard to make it a success.
That is why the price is stable and has a great future. Damn, i should be a bounty hunter
I'm sure they are working on that as well. Plus, I believe they are in the process of hiring a whole bunch of new people, so things are going a little faster. But the truth it, they are being pushed from both sides. One side keeps pushing for updates and mobile miner, exchanges and stuff, and the other side for wallet problems. Now they're doing both and it's still not good lol. However, this is just an application fase, which is till 12th of January so they have a bunch of people selected to start after that I presume.
I rather see them to solve all wallet problems first before starting the mobile mining beta.... they just releasing and releasing without solving stuff first. Lot's of people with balance problems....

Just another normal day in crypto then. Some people will never be happy no matter what they do. Beta testing is a great idea, there will be far more moaning if we have another launch disaster. I did not see anything on that form that is irrelevant or intrusive. They want to pick from different age groups and different levels of experience I expect. Different model phones will be the big one. I have a Galaxy S8+ myself.
Yup agreed. They ask for providers and data plan probably as a mean of seeing how much data is being used and how it works with different providers over the world. But you're right, I seen people asking for weeks when the beta testing will start and as soon as that link was posted after 2 minutes saw some reactions like "Scam! they're asking for phone number!" Luckily the majority of the people had logical sense, this was on Telegram btw.

Great! Nice to see that the mobile mining experience is entering public beta. Just registered and hope to be selected. In the mean time, my CPU miners are still running and giving me a few ETNs everyday. With the cold weather right now it's practically free money.

This is a major milestone if we have ETN being part of Centra where the tokens will be spent using the debit card.
I wonder why this news isn't much spread on the centra bitcointalk thread.
The Centra thread does not see much activity as of late. Most of the Centra related news happens outside of Bitcointalk. Great to see Electroneum absolutely killing it in that poll. Just goes to show how big a community this coin has and how popular the project is. Centra and Electroneum... really cool. The only two ICO's I have ever invested in, so far anyway.

How are they silent? I get plenty of email updates and they are very active on Facebook etc. If you meant here on Bitcointalk...forget about it. Not many dev teams visit these forums. The ones that do have to endure some spiteful comments and sometimes just pure FUD. Most prefer to use more official sources for sharing their news, often directly to those that actively follow the project. We as a community can share what they say here, I do it sometimes. We also have a community manager for Bitcointalk, Contraband.
Man I wish I bought some ETN in ICO!! I just bought some more with a low amount of ETH I had from mining a couple of weeks. I'm not a whale. My goal is 10k ETN and then sit on them for a couple of years.
It's me and you both. For me, I bought some during the ico and sold 50% at the peak. I've removed my initial investments and will be holding the other 50% long term. Hopefully it does pay off in the long run
