Especially because it is only listed on Cryptopia as of now. Even with the lowest quality projects, getting listed on one of the big exchanges can spike a serious boost in value. Electroneum has already taken us all by surprise with its early performance, even with the launch issues they faced. They are one of the rare projects that are actually seeking partnerships in the crypto space, we all know what big news can do when it comes to raising the price. IOTA and Ripple are ones to look at, they achieved massive gains based on news and developments. Having a currency that can actually be used is a big deal.

I think $1 will be an easy target to achieve for Electroneum in the short term, provided they do what they say they will. I have never seen something so viral and potentially mass marketable as Electroneum before. We can't really guess what 2018 will bring, as it is not comparable to anything out there right now. Even tapping into a small percentage of people outside the current (relatively small) crypto world could mean monstrous success for ETN. Time will tell though, it is all rather exciting to be part of it. We will have a better idea about where things can go later next year.

I don't think there was an airdrop, the initial price during ICO, without bonus was $0.01 equivalent in BTC or ETH.

I got this off of Telegram from that new CEO guy Chris Gorman regarding exchanges.

I wanted to update you all on exchanges and apologies we didn’t put this in the earlier update. We are in the application process with a number of exchanges which have been held up a little due to the Christmas period and the transactional issues we were facing.

In order to achieve the substantial and sustainable growth we all want we must grow our reach in partnerships which will recruit new users and increase coin acceptance.

ETN is in a perfect position to achieve this and in fact I am in discussions with a number of potential partners.

One of the biggest barriers for partnerships for cryptocurrencies is price volatility, therefore using the power of this community to work in the right way with the right exchanges will help massively with this.

Next week when everyone is back we will get full updates and put plan together to harness the power of the community to help fast-track this process. We will share this with you so please keep an eye on your emails and social media for updates.

2018 is going to be our year.

They already made a move, it is already in their roadmap, we are on a holiday season everything seems to be on halt but after the holiday I'm sure development is going to be non stop and we 'll have at least 4 exchange in the first quarter of 2018.

That was one hell of a pump on XRP but Ripple cannot be compared with ETN. Electroneum is a very young project but future market capital depends on how well the coin is adopted and developed.

Yes, their online wallet has some issues with transactions not showing.

I have imported 8000 ETN from my paper wallet and the transaction was split in 2 (5000+3000) Huh

Don't ask me why it happened Undecided

The import was long pending but in the end all coins did make it to my online wallet.

However only first part of transaction of 5000ETN is showing and the other one for 3000ETN is completely missing!

Read Richard's email, and I agree, the stats are impressive.

I was happy to read the info on the tech update, however the focus seemed to be on transaction statuses (mainly the "pending" ones), did not read anything regarding "missing" transactions (by this I mean a transaction was made, the amount was correctly deducted from my online wallet, but said transaction is not appearing on my "recent transactions", and has not made it to the ETN paper wallet I sent it to)

Contraband, since they mentioned they will "be writing some new software to fully analyse the issues." and that "We’ll let you know our findings as soon as we know ourselves.", could you please send them my concern about transactions not showing up? Thank you! (I have created a support ticket as well).

It means ETN has a huuuge potential!

However, at present state ETN is very slow. The transactions through web/app wallet take too much time to go through. Undecided

Everything works fine for me when using their command line cli wallet https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum/releases,
and ironically I have to use it to transfer my coins quickly.

Their web/app wallet has to improve dramatically for it to see a mainstream adoption we dream about.
