By the way: does anyone have the approximate number of eXo that a 1.5 BTC first-stage investor will be entitled to? I actually have that exact stake; for some reason, I trusted the eXo team. There's obviously a lot of resistance to the eXo devs setting up an official NFD gateway, but there's enough support for me to take matters into my own hands and set up an unofficial eXo gateway on the NFD Asset Exchange. As I indicated above, it would be a pilot-plant dealie for (possibly) setting up an official one on the Nxt AE.

Does someone know the number I'll get for my first-stage 1.5 BTC? Thanks in advance.

To be clear, everyone is talking about pre-launch trading of Exo stakes, not Exo itself.  Everything would be redeemed before launch of official client.

If anything I would consider either the nxt or better yet xcp platforms for trading

I just don't think it's sensible to list on NFD.  Nxt has thousands of users who would be potential buyers of Exo and it a proven system for pre-ipo coin market.  Otherwise we sit and wait.  I don't really expect an answer from Exo devs, so it's probably a wasted conversation.

That's a fair point. Right now, NFD's order book, sell wall and price performance is a lot like Reddcoin's in the dark days of spring. I say this not to pump, but to warn. If NFD becomes something like the Reddcoin of the Nxt world, if only in price performance, it will take a long time for NFD to catch a solid uptrend.

Myself, I'm actually comfortable with NFD's performance so far. As soon as I can scrape up ready BTC, I plan to buy more. After letting big gain after big gain slip away because of my shiny-object syndrome - one of those big fish actually was Reddcoin, which I sold just as it was waking up - I've finally learned to buy, hold and more-or-less stick with my plan. As long as NFD's price performance is more-or-less blah, NFDers - including myself  - have lots of time to scrape up BTC and buy in at what I believe to be a bargain price.

So yes, listing an eXo gateway on NFD would be risky and might engender price volatility. There's the risk that the excitement will turn into a de factopump-and-dump like Qora had, which wouldn't make my life any easier. But NFD, a plain ol' Nxt clone, does make for a perfect real-time pilot plant if you want to list a gateway in the Nxt system. Ironically, the low price of NFD makes us more open to experiments that have no risk of compromising the infrastructure. Feel free to use NFD as a test lab of sort with a small eXo gateway, watch and see what happens, and take it from there.

Can it tank even more? The real problem is that those who want to sell exo stakes will have trouble selling NFD after they cash out in NFD. In this case it's bad for both NFD and exo stake holders.  The only one who is going to benefit here would be NFD whales who will unload NFD and get exo tokens instead.  Good look to those who then try to cash out NFD as there is no volume/buyers.
