keep up, I posted these links many times on this thread/potcoin throught
Unless you have another explanation...

Hash Rate: 20.71 GH/s (15min approximated)
http://wafflepool.com/miner/14t8yB3PDGfZT3VppxMY4J9xiBaXUcZvKp
I seen them up to 63.1gh/s before on this link above before...

Now I am not that stupid to think that someone has a nuc_le&ar power plant to just to run these gpu's....

KNCminers CEO, Sam Cole dumping Bitcoins worth 466,000USD on various exchanges everyday.

I do keep up. In fact, I've been one of the few people in the world to know about some of their inside information, which is why I didn't buy any of their gear past november, and I (along with some others) knew about their hangar mining operation around December. That link to the article, that's old news. It was discussed on the KNC forum in January.

As to the wafflepool account you point to, unless you can show it is actually KNC miner, you might be surprised at the number of large farms out there with GPU's--many of them running on free electricity thanks to governments and universities.

You might also be aware that gridseed and other scrypt-asic companies mine with their gear. Think about that for a moment.

And _maybe_ it's KNC, but the last I heard they were at the foundry level still. So you shouldn't just say "oh it's KNC for sure" and then post an account with hashrate and no proof. My gut tells me it's not KNC. 40..100GH is nothing for KNC.

Their first batch of Scrypt ASIC will ship 2-3 petahash.

If we could get pot <-> fiat conversion easily, you would see a lot more adoption by everyday users.

This +1.

Too many people are obsessing over where the thread falls on bitcointalk. If you want to see it higher...then hey about you post more?

The Devs are worried about more important things. This is a bitcoin forum remember? Not a Potcoin forum. We have a reddit page which is more visually appealing anyways:

www.reddit.com/r/potcoin

you know how people see this section everyday? lets say 90% don't matter. the other 10% are people with money looking for things to invest in.

there are many things you need to do to make a coin work. having a thread being very active at the lagest crypto coin forum is one of them

Thanks for the info, apparently some miners haven't read the notice (like me, but I don't mine there)
http://chainz.cryptoid.info/pot/extraction.dws?5.htm

They'll become history as far as the extraction watch goes once they no longer have a block in the last 1000 mined (though you'll still find them mentioned in the blocks & the history chart)

knc mining in airport hanger alone, or with wafflepool as wafflepool was on our coin before and knc holds 1/2 of hashes they have on their multipool total or possibly more. I know they had at least 1/2 hashes waffle had alone and they added more miners since then as shown in some links I provided previously.

WafflePool confirmed & added to the extraction stats.

They're at 44% right now, but spiked to 60%.

That leaves 22% of the extraction unqualified, any other suggestions? Smiley
I can't find any more of knc miners but they have more just more hidden than the one I found at wafflepool.

Where are your links to KNC's scrypt gear in action? Last I checked they were still working on the foundry. Their hangars hold SHA256 gear for the most part.

can the above be fixed and might as well remove theorages because they folded? there is also http://pot.lifeforce.info/ thx
Fixed, was a temporary hiccup.

Did you mean the Ogres pool? They're still active AFAICT, they got one block in the last 100.

Lifeforce pool added.

There are still 2-3 Unknown big players which have more than 50% of the hash right now...

Hey guys,

I had some problems with the server - basically disk space filled up and the potcoin daemon was unable to run. I have corrected the problem and the server should be accessible.

PLEASE NOTE I HAVE DECIDED TO DISCONTINUE THIS POOL.

At some point after the next 3 days I will bring the server down for good. Please remove all your coins during this period.

As this issue is being investigated into potcoin, we have temporarily moved our potcoin hashers over to whitecoin to ensure profitable payouts.

We stand with potcoin and offer our support. Anything we can do just name it. As soon as reliable blocks can be mined on potcoin we will return.

Yep, just checked my lil' hash rate and noticed the leader hashing at 134,000 kh/s ...wow!

the key to get more people interested in Potcoin is responding thur-out the day and keeping this thread on page 1 or 2.

found potcoin on page 7 today.

whats the trick to keep us on page 1:?  lets just get this done always

woke up and found potcoin on  bottom of page 4. no one looks at who's  on bottom of page 4

not trying to be a dick by pointing this out. I like potcoin and I want you guys to make it.

i will check up every few hours to make sure potcoin is on page 1,2, or 3.

I would answer every potcoin related question. i know some are mundane but you need to interact.

I'm busy promoting my new site

http://cryptobettingindex.com/

your #72 and #76 on top 100 all time betting list

I also made a potcoin page,

http://cryptobettingindex.com/potcoin/

maybe we can do some promotions. also on the top 100 list i sell logo ad spots in place of free text link.($5 a month each)

i wished you had affiliate programs for your 2 gambling sites. hard to promote something if theres nothing in it for me. maybe you can buy ad space. i have cheap rates and i have all the major crypto betting sites advertising on CB Index.

I will even take potcoin for ad space or promotions.

keep up the good work. lets make potcoin a household name.

There have been two insane difficulty spikes.

However most of the POT hashrate doesn't come from one of the listed pools (or I missed it, anyone got a clue?)

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/pot/#!extraction

So any hiccup with the majority holder will result in massive spikes...

(if you know who that "Unknown" might be let me know, I'll add it, but from the transaction history, it doesn't seem to be a regular MPOS pool)

First time seeing it but the article does show potcoin in a not so positive light.

Quote
In fact, one Reddit community member, who claimed to be a dispensary owner, went so far as to say he “would never accept PotCoin.”

Potcoin to usd is next step on our list.
We will also soon have a debit card and credit card that will link to their potcoin merchant accounts.
also
You can claim anything on the internet, which it assumed the media says its true so we really don't even know if this was a dispensary or not person...
Look at the below also...

There are also issues with volatility when it comes to any cryptocurrency, as proven by Bitcoin, which filed for bankruptcy earlier this year.
Bitcoin filed for bankruptcy wtf? MT.Gox is not Bitcoin!
What kind of research do these people understand?

Quote
And despite PotCoins effort to become more visible, including setting up PotCoin ATMs at Denver’s 4/20 festival in Civic Center Park last weekend and efforts to donate PotCoins to local dispensary owners to hand out dedicated customers like “frequent flyer miles,” prominent dispensary owner Tim Cullen shrugged when asked about the cryptocurrency.
“I’ve never even heard of PotCoin,” he said.

The guy could have said "lmgtfy" or let me look it up... wtf
