Premier League competition is always tough so Manchester City dropped points in some matches early on and taking advantage of this opportunity Liverpool went well above the points but later on it will be difficult for Manchester City to get these points again. In other seasons Manchester City has topped the points table with more points than all other teams but this season we see Liverpool occupying that position of Manchester City. If Manchester City is not able to change their performance quickly then they may fall behind by more points before the end of the mid season so Manchester City must be careful in the upcoming matches so that they can perform well in their next competitions.

You are right, Liverpool performance is in no way connected to Manchester City bad condition. If not for the injured players, we haven't seen Manchester City lose four games in a row in a long time. However, last season, as Arsenal were challenging Manchester City for the league's top spot, they also took over the league from them. But Manchester City refuses to give up because the team has the best players fit and fought hard to defeat Arsenal at the end of the season. Liverpool currently leads the league because of injuries in Manchester City's squad. But if Doku, Grealish, and Rúben Días are fully recovered, Manchester City can fight for their place at the top of the league.

This is an important warning for Man City that this season they must work hard to maintain their dominance after a series of positive results experienced by Liverpool under the direction of Aren Slot. Why blame Liverpool for Manchester City's current problems? Isn't it the duty of any club to perform to their full potential in the league and provide fierce competition and that is what Liverpool have done this season under Arne Slot.
Man City's decline has nothing to do with Liverpool's improving performance if Man City had performed consistently they would not be below Liverpool and would have the same or more points so they should evaluate their mistakes and start competing fairly in the title race this season.

Liverpool not looking worse is as important as City looking worse. If Liverpool didn't do well because of the managerial change nobody would be shocked about it, it was clear that we would see them not do that great and it would be understandable, but that doesn't mean that we are going to just accept what Liverpool is doing as normal, that's not really that normal and it's understandable to say that what the yare doing even after a managerial change is still a big deal.

I agree with you that the Manchester City problem this season is not just caused by injuries because Manchester City has a good squad depth that could help Manchester City improve their performance, but they are still finding it difficult to win their matches in the Premier League when their key players are injured. Even though Liverpool were not performing well this season and not topping the Premier League table, Manchester City's bad performance this season will still show because Manchester City have not lost 4 consecutive matches in a season since Pep Guardiola became Manchester City head coach. Maybe Pep Guardiola's time at Manchester City is coming to an end, and Manchester City need another coach that will help them challenge for the Premier League title.

Manchester City is obviously regressing, I don't know why you guys want to make it look like they are in their good form. Since the reign of Pep Guardiola in Manchester City this is the worst performance he has gotten losing 4 consecutive matches. I remember clearly in the past seasons that Manchester City dominated, they didn't dominate in isolation, because both Arsenal and Liverpool were also in the race maybe towards the 11th hour Manchester City will outsmart them. So it is important that we acknowledge that Manchester City is having a poor performance this time around and if they did not change from this performance, it will be difficult for them to win this season English Premier League.

I agree with you because this is not the first time we have seen Manchester City perform like this, and they end up winning the Premier League title.
