Even Ipswich is the weak team which is in the degradation zone, but this winning can increase The City's motivation to continue playing with this in next match. Pep seems to be getting more relaxed after watch his squad play impressively. This has rarely happened since the last 10 matches. they are plagued with never winning on play away so that this winning can bring the new motivation for squad. Foden played very well supported by the improved performance of De Bruyne. when I see them play like this there is hope that the city will come back like last session.

It was a game with another weak team, and we have already seen that City plays well against such teams. But against Ipswich it was not just a win, it was the City I wanted to see, I really hope that this will give them confidence in their abilities, before the match with PSG this is very important. But Manchester United showed again how bad they are, and it seems to me that Amorim is a little discouraged, since his arrival the team has clearly started to play even worse.

It sounds really harsh, because wow, the truth is that they played really bad, and now they have to think about doing things better, going out to play like that is the worst thing they can do, I think the coach has to change strategy, if he doesn't the team will go further and further down and that's not good, if the coach has to be changed then they should keep doing it, I insist on something, it's not the players, it's the management, if the coach doesn't do things right these games will continue to lose and lose more and more, they must act quickly, it's the PL, they can go down very badly.

I'm not blaming it on the manager for now. Because Amorim doesn't have a good squad in his hands now. He needs new signings as this team really needs it. Probably they will finish this season at a really poor position. But after next summer signings, we would see how much Amorim is capable for real. If he still fails then they would part ways without losing more time unlike what they did with Erik ten Hag. They waited for him too long you know.  Sad

It is really sad to see the Red Devils barely standing on their feet for years. This isn't what Manchester United sounds like. They are normally the king of the Premier League with 20 titles in history. But now we only see a team trying to stabilize...

Another humiliating defeat for Manchester United. This time against Brighton. I think that the main problem is Amorim insisting to play in a 3-4-3 formation. The players simply can't adapt to such formation, but Amorim doesn't care. United's midfielders are failing at dominating the game and United can't create goal opportunities. Onana also contributed for the bad result, reminding us that he definitely wasn't the best possible goalkeeper, to be signed by Ten Hag.
I'm surprised that Everton won against Tottenham 3-2, but I didn't watch the game. Arsenal also made a bad step against Aston Villa.
Nottingham increased it's chances to finish at Top 3 a little bit. Grin

Lol, Manchester United problem is beyond formation actually but the players looked exhausted. Which formation has ever worked well for Manchester United all this while? Ten Hang left them at number 14th playing 4-2-3-1. Rudd won three out of four games with exactly same team, the players are definitely the problem and not formation. Conte won EPL at Chelsea while playing the same 3-4-3. Tuchel won champions league with Chelsea using 3-4-2-1 formation. Manchester United coaches have tried using all possible formation but to no avail.

Manchester United failure has nothing to do with formation but the players. Their defence always looks fragile once break by opponents. The only solution that'll fix their problem is offloading the entire squad and bring in new players which is impossible. For now, they must accept their fate as a mid table team until the end of the season.

M.United and Tottenham lost tonight. Both teams continue their bad run. They are at the bottom of the league.
Yep. Man United and Tottenham performed very badly in EPL, they were defeated again today. Man United is in 13th place, meanwhile Tottenham is in 15th place. They are getting closer to relegation zone, it is totally unexpected situation for these teams.

M.City showed the nation an enjoyable and goal-rich match tonight.
They beat Ipswich Town 6-0 and I think they relaxed as a team. This win boosted their morale for the match they will play in the Champions League.
True. Man City seems playing with their best performance anymore. It has been a long time that Man City played very unstable, they got many bad results. Even if it seems very reasonable to win with big scores again Ipswich, but this surely will improve the mentality and spirit of Man City players. It may also bring good impacts in UCL matches as well. I just expect that Man City will maintain their good performance again. So, they can finish in UCL zone in EPL standings at least.

Manchester united and Tottenham Hotspur yesterday performance was not encouraging, I don't have much to talk about Tottenham Hotspur but for Manchester united, we all know they are having a difficult time even before Ruben Amorim came so Amorim is still trying all he gats to see their ability and strength but Brighton winning Manchester united home and away is not good at all at least they would have just draw one. However, Everton performance some weeks back have really increased, they have drawn some of the big team and win some so winning Tottenham Hotspur yesterday I wasn't really surprised because they have improved a little and lastly we can not tell for sure if Manchester city has regain fully or completely untill we see there five straight wins against big teams that is only when I will be convinced that yes they have... But for now I still rest my case.

Congrats to Everton. They successfully beat Tottenham and get three points. A bit surprised with their 3 goals lead during the first half. I thought they would be struggled, but performed beyond my prediction. They showed solid offence, and managed break through Tottenham's defensive line.

The second half is very different caused by Totteham did minor change, but impacted their performance a lot. So many pressures were coming to the Everton, but they able to keep the score 3:2.

What a game!!! Finally, they're far away from relegation zone.
It’s a really good game from Everton, it is not easy to play against Tottenham and win but they pulled it off they were lucky to go 3 goals up and were able to defend the goals till the end even though Tottenham got two goals back in the game. It will be a really good feeling for the players and the fans.

It is not that their game have been good but somehow they have managed to get themselves out of the relegation zone and I am sure they will try stay out till the end of the season.

It was really a tough game for them in the second half but Everton have always been good in defending. Their next fixture is also a tough one as they will travel to Brighton, as the away team they are not at advantage and winning Brighton will not be easy for them but at least after Brighton they will face Leicester City and will be the home team so i expect them to be able to win.

Ipswich is weaker than Brentford, Man City should be able to beat them, yes, even though Man City's performance is still not stable, but when facing a weak club, Man City can still play well, every point that Man City gets is very important for now because they have lost many points in recent weeks and are behind the leaders. Man City must fight hard to improve their ranking and try to finish in the top 4 at least to get a UCL ticket.
Ipswich is weaker than Brentford, Man City should be able to beat them...  and just like you rightly predicted, Manchester City thrashed Ipswich Town. I think the game against Ipswich Town today was Manchester City's easiest game of the season and that's because they didn't struggle to win the game neither did Ipswich Town pose as much threat as they've seen from opponents since the start of the season. 6:0 it ended in favour of Pep Guardiola's men who are now back in the top four pending the outcome of Chelsea vs Wolves game tomorrow

Plot twist "City is moving back up, and compete for the title race". This sounds unreal consider how big the gap between them and Liverpool, but who knows. I knew it was Ipswich, but it's convincing me to say they're starting to regain their form.

The real test is just coming for City, they're gonna have a lot of hard run in the coming weeks. The game against Ipswich helped them boost their mentality as a preparation before they fight other big clubs in PL.

As long as they can get positive results from their hard fixtures, they potentially enter top 3 again.

Nothing changed for Manchester United. They are still in their worst shape. They didn't improve anything since the Southampton game. Just like I said, Brighton didn't have mercy on them.

It is too early to say that they have become stable, they play against outsiders and win, they need a real test of strength. Ispwich are 18th in the relegation zone, no wonder they won with such a defeat. Let's see what happens in a couple of matches and whether they keep this momentum going. A losing streak happens to any team, if they get through it, I'll be happy for them
The real test for Man City will be in the next matches against PSG in the Champions League, after that Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle, Liverpool, Nottingham Forest and Tottenham are really obstacles that Man City must go through before they can be said to be stable, I hope Man City has indeed improved its performance and can win all those matches or at least experience only 1/2 defeats and not experience consecutive defeats like some time ago.

Everton surprised me a lot. Because they got 3-0 ahead in the first half already. Moyes effect was real.  Smiley  Tottenham tried to come back but all they were able to do was to make it 3-2. Only one point collected in their last 6 league games... Ange Postecoglou had better get ready to be sacked. I would absolutely do so if I were the chairman.

I got to watch the game today,  I mean highlights of the game. First goal was caused by Leny Yoro overlapping into midfield to play, I think that was instructed by the manager and it lead to him covering and tracking back quick. I don't think I'm comfortable with Harry Maguire,  too many touches on the ball and his dull thinking, observation and reactions. The management should do well to sell so they can buy. You can't complain about a manager using water gun for world war three and expects him to win. Tottenham Hotspur should part ways with Daniel Levy, that's all I want to see them do honestly.

Leny Yoro was brought into the club as a substitute for Maguire, guess none of them are upto what the management weighed their excellence. Not a fan but not the worst United critic, Maguire isn't the course of why United are still where they are in the Premier League and every other competition, in recent games i have watched him play and the fault doesn't always comes from him, i have seen him complete a 2V1 tackle and some major interventions that should have contributed to goals, defenders are the easiest to call out meanwhile the strikers are incompetent when ever they proceeds to score with lots of missed chances.

I'm afraid some talents will soon be shadowed, youngsters like Amad and Mainoo are just suffering for what isn't worth, Yamal in Barcelona isn't different or much spectacular than these stars in United, if only they had same chances they should have to be on same level and trophies, Manchester United are yet denying them what they need at this early age of carrier knowing as times passes so does age climbs.

Manchester City's momentum continues and it seems that they are now finding a good rhythm for their performance, even the problem of poor defense has been resolved in recent matches.

Against Ipswich they did not experience any difficulties, even the final score really showed the difference in the quality of these two clubs where half a dozen goals managed to get Manchester City in today's match.

That's what they have to do because after all, especially in this half of the season, Manchester City's performance is still very tested but after the half-season break and they also began to move in the hunt for players it seems that some of the current core players do not expect them to be replaced quickly from the line-up and Pep also began to return to showing his brilliant tactics for the last few matches.
With a big win like this it will certainly be great for Manchester City to develop themselves and take back the position that has long been lost due to poor performance some time ago.

I didn't expect a team like Everton to get a 3 goals lead against Spurs. Everton plays a good low block football, but get 3 goals in a first half shows how poor Spurs were. I'm not sure of what's wrong with spurs, considering the fact that they always lose to teams that they ought to defeat, and defeat teams that they ought to lose to. But while the game was still on, I told a friend of mine that Spurs will definitely score, which they did, but just couldn't level the game as Everton ended up taking all 3 points. Everton's next game will be against Brighton, which is a very big test for the new manager.

And as for other games today, Manchester united are still very much underperforming. Their only shot on target was the penalty that was scored by Bruno, which showed how poor they were. Amorim still has a lot to do in this team, because if they continue like this, making the top 10 spot might be as difficult as winning the title for them.

Liverpool once again showed their class by grabbing a crucial win over Brentford, while in another match, Aston Villa managed to force Arsenal to a draw at the Emirates Stadium. This draw makes Arsenal lose momentum in the hunt for important points, their inability to maintain the lead gives an advantage to Liverpool.
Now the team coached by Arne Slot is increasingly solid at the top of the standings with 50 points, Arsenal struggle is getting harder after falling behind 6 points from Liverpool.
Without Darwin Nunez 2 goals Liverpool might have lost points, 90 minutes everyone has done everything and finally the extra time is the answer. The entry of Nunez clearly provides an advantage because most of the Brentford players are focused on Mo Salah. 37 attempts of shots launched by Liverpool but only need 3 minutes to finish it.
It was really a big surprise that Liverpool won that match because a lot of people had already given up that it was going to end in a draw. Brentford on their own were a little relaxed too thinking they were able to get a point from the league leaders. Just that Nunez changed everything at the dying minutes, it was too emotional for Liverpool seeing that all hope was not lost and they came back to their winning. Sincerely, had the match ended in a draw, that would have been two consecutive draws for Liverpool, something that would have damage their psychology so much. The drew Nottingham Forest in their last match so they needed to win Brentford luckily for them, they got the winning.

The victory over Brentford and also the draw obtained by Arsenal in other matches has make Liverpool position while curently at the top of the English league standings very strong with 50 points, so far Liverpool has shown extraordinary consistency in the EPL and even in the UCL, with the depth of the squad that is actually limited, but they managed to show a strong mentality with the support of smart tactics from Arne Slot, But as I said above, all possibilities can still happen with a long season journey, meaning there will be many factors and challenges that could affect their performance, including player injuries and also a busy schedule, especially now they must play in the UCL, FA and also the Carabao cup, which will interfere with the focus and also drain the stamina from their players.
one player injury for Liverpool might be overcome and play just to avoid defeat and maintain their position. but if there is an injury problem involving 2 or more players, and the player is the most reliable, of course, the situation can be very bad for Liverpool.
so far Slot has given a good and consistent game to Liverpool. hopefully, their players avoid losses this season and can get some good results at the end of the season. Slot showed extraordinary quality, he deserves praise from anyone.
