I saw this post on the Premier League’s official Instagram page. The caption was ‘so much cab change in a year’. At first I thought it was a roast at Manchester City since they were number 1 last season and now are struggling between games to keep their position at number 2 on the table. But more interesting is that Arsenal didn’t really change, they maintained the same spot. And Manchester United have dropped drastically this year, from 8th on the table last year to 13th on the table. Which other team caught your eye?

What caught my eye most was the difference in points scored by clubs in 3rd to 5th place. 24 and 19 points is a huge difference over such a distance, and even if Arsenal, for example, formally retains its 4th place, the real distance to 1st place and, in general, to participation in the title race is now much greater.
Plus, of course, the rise of Nottingham and Chelsea is attracting attention. Are Nottingham embarking on a quest for a third Champions League title?  Cheesy
Well this is the premier league standings of both last season match week11 and this season match week 11 and I can see significant changes in the table. The team that caught my eye is Nottingham forest their significant rise and progress highlights that they are doing well, while the significant rise if Chelsea highlited they are doing well and have actually progressed while Manchester has slipped further. This highlights the urgency of United to make a serious change to the way they are playing so they can obtain good result this season.

Yes, actually Arsenal is a fairly strong club in the Premier League but their strength is sometimes not entirely consistent, that's what made them fail to win the Premier League title in the last 2 seasons and in my opinion it is also caused by the depth of their squad which is not better than Man City and yes Mikel Arteta does need to recruit some quality players to make their appearance more consistent in the future so that they are more free to compete in the title hunt with Man City this season.
Yes you are right about Arsenal and why they don't always win the Premier League trophy. You have explained the reasons in full. I totally agree and indeed Arsenal is strong enough to compete in this competition but only as a complement to strong candidates and in the end other teams will lift the trophy. Arsenal only lacks a sharp striker osimhen might be the right option to solve this problem I hope arteta and the club management can bring this player to the emirates stadium in the next transfer market.
Personal plays very well but their one problem is that they cannot sustain their good performance in every match. If you play well in one match, you play badly in the next match. And that's why they can't win the trophy even if they are in the top 4-6 of the points table in terms of points. Mam city and Liverpool these two teams play well most of the season. And won the championship. man city can be called the king of premier league they play well regularly. Arsenal could also do well if they put more focus into their game

Honestly, this season it seems like only two teams will compete closely for the championship title, because in terms of points, the team ranked 3rd and ranked 1st are already very far apart and it might take a surprise to be able to stick close. Liverpool is so strong this season, they continue to develop rapidly under Arne slot, it seems like they will make a lot of new history this season. The instability of Manchester City's performance opens up a great opportunity for Liverpool to continue to be consistent in collecting 3 points in order to maintain their position as the leader of the standings for a long time.
The 3rd until 6th ranks have the same points which are far away from the top standing, but we are still on week 11, it's just a quarter step from the finish which means the club still has a chance to beat Liverpool's position. Especially Manchester City, because we don't forget how they played at the beginning of the previous session (2022-2023), they are sometimes slow to heat up at the beginning, and usually, they start to show up after the middle of the season, after winter windows over, and they were bought a new player to filled up weakness position, Then Manchester City starting to show up their class. The Liverpool fans must hope their team does not slip further, because the real champions will be the winner between that time.

In terms of points, the gap is starting to be created at the top, and Liverpool is racing ahead with the highest points. However, considering the number of matches is still very long, so the opportunity is still quite open for several teams. This depends on Liverpool, because usually they also decline when entering the end of the season, such as what happened last season. However, I do not know what will happen this season because they are also handled by a new coach. Competition will continue to be created, because it is possible that unwanted things will happen in matches in the middle of the season. We never know what problems will be faced by teams like Liverpool. Not expecting, but things like this often happen.

Arsenal as we all know were struggling before Mikel Arteta was appointed as the club manager but since he became the club's manager, he was able to help improve the club's performance and quality to a point that Arsenal are now regarded as one of the best teams in the league but that shouldn't be a reason why the club management would have to take whatever they get from Arteta. Arsenal is a big club remember and if Arteta isn't delivering good results consistently again, then I don't see anything bad in relieving of his job at the club and getting another world class manager.

Arsenal is a strong team. For the last few seasons, Arsenal has been fighting for the title. But in the end, Manchester City has been the champion every season. And I would say that there is only one reason why Arsenal has failed to win the title every season. Arsenal's bench team is not strong. So whenever any player in the squad gets injured, we have seen Arsenal's overall performance become unstable. And this season too, Arsenal has faced the same problem. Arsenal coach Arteta should have added more talented players to their squad. However, Arsenal has no chance of winning the title this season. Arteta now has to try to strengthen his squad.

Chelsea caught my attention. This was a club that was struggling to survive last season. By this time last season that had only got 15 points from eleven games after spending so much money bringing in new players. Now they are in third position with nineteen points four points better than last season. This shows that the new coach Enzo Maresca is not doing badly after the club spent less funds this season.

Nottingham Forest was not in the Premiership last season but I am fascinated to see a club that was just recently promoted making an instant impact in the top league. The problem with such clubs is that they end up losing steam towards the end of the season and begin to lose games. But if they continue with this form, they might get a European competition ticket.

I didn’t think Casemiro was a bad player, he was pretty good when he was in Real Madrid. The same goes for other Manchester United players who were presumed to be “bad” by critics and fans. Their recent performances have shown that it wasn’t the players fault but the tactics of the manager. It seems that they were struggling to understand what Erik Ten Hag wanted them to do. Manchester United were better under Ruud van Nistelrooy. I expect them to maintain the same momentum and winning mentality under Amorim.

Who should be blamed then for the game against West Ham United? The big chances created that weren't converted should be blamed on who? EtH was tryna implement his style of play, a possession based football but the tactics showed Casemiro weakness which was lacking pace and causing his team unnecessary bookings game after game. I see most of you don't understand but I'll keep my thing brief.

The double man midfield of Ugarte and Casemiro is nothing different from that of Mc Tominay and Fred which always gets Bruno Fernandes flourishing. This as well was the same way EtH did during his first season and he did well. When it's time for this coach to implement his new system and it becomes difficult for your best players to adapt, you'll see them fighting the manager behind the scenes again. Won't be boggled.

Liverpool managed to improve their performance this season in the first 11 weeks of the Premier League, while Manchester City declined slightly when they lost 4 points compared to the first 11 matches last season. Aston Villa and Tottenham, who ranked 2nd and 5th last season, actually lost their good form this season in the first 11 matches, of course so far they are in 9th and 10th position in the standings.

This season Manchester City is a little weak due to injuries to several main players, but I believe Pep Guardiola will fix it as soon as possible. It is impossible to let a team lose points from match to match in a row, in fact I am very confident that Manchester City will stop this bad trend in the next match against Tottenham.
Pep Guardiola could still lose 5 matches in a row if they fail to perform well against Tottenham this weekend it is certain that Pep Guardiola will fix in the inconsistent of Manchester City but not Tottenham the highest result Manchester City will get in that game is draw.

Liverpool is still constant in the league as their performance has increased that they hardly lose a game if they continue like this till end of February Liverpool might definitely win the English premier league this season as they are still at the top of the table.

I think this is the worst season of Manchester City under the management of Pep Guardiola as he has lost 4 game in a row definitely he will be under pressure when playing tothenham as to avoid a 5th lose in a row.

Yes Casemiro is definitely not a bad player but regardless of how excellent of a player he is we can’t deny the fact that he isn’t the same man that Real Madrid got, Casemiro is definitely not that young and not required to do all jobs in his position now for 90 minutes. Casemiro was dropped to the bench by the Ten Hag due to his poor performance in the Liverpool game which the player himself confirmed was a disaster class, Although I didn’t like how Ten Hag went ahead and didn’t have him and Urgate get more minutes as the season progressed, the dropped to the bench and as certainly justified if you ask me.

As for Manchester United playing well under a new manager I thin it shouldn’t be a surprise because it is new manager bounce, even Ten Hag got same treatment in his first season, he finished third. OLE was even more impressive with him going to the quarterfinals of the champions league. So to me they always turn when it is a new manager, hopefully they stick to the performance or the manager should kick out any one who doesn’t sit up.

The current situation does make us quite pessimistic with Manchester City and Arsenal in my opinion, because they they have problems that cannot be resolved, so we can think that to win the English Main League and the Champions League I am very doubtful if they continue to experience setbacks, But for Say Guardiola is always good at restoring things, just as last season Guardiola was difficult but they managed to restore the situation and return to the top to lead the standings, only in the Champions League defeated by Real Madrid when Man City had not yet fully recovered, and Arsenal in the Champions League are quite worrying, they always don't qualify to enter important rounds.
I don't think that way especially for Manchester City. Talking about performance, it is indeed a surprise that Manchester City continue to achieve unsatisfactory results in the last few matches is like seeing an unexpected situation because Pep has always struggled to keep his defense in the last few matches but when talking about the probability of winning they still remain one of the clubs that make it possible to do so at the end of the season and I am quite sure of that.

The fact that they are sometimes always like this in the middle of the season and can always end well where Pep can always give things that are sometimes difficult to digest makes me believe that they will be able to compete well again and it is not impossible to overtake Liverpool again in the remaining time.  Its only been 11 weeks and that means there are still 27 weeks to go before they finish the season and a 5 point difference in a season that is still very long is nothing for Pep and Manchester City.

Arsenal experienced a less than satisfactory fate by losing many points so that this season it seems like it will be quite difficult for them to compete for the championship title. Although the season is still long, we have seen the performance of each team in achieving their targets this season. Nottingham Forest seems like it will be quite difficult to maintain their good performance, even though they are currently ranked 5th, but I am sure there are many big obstacles that will be obstacles for them in maintaining their good performance.

I think Casemiro  is often disappointed in this team especially when he makes costly mistakes, whereas he still doing well in more matches to be honest, they forgets that he is the most decorated player in the squad with all his achievements in Real Madrid and to be frank I think we can say he is a legend there and can be considered among the best defensive midfielders of his generation.

Casemiro continues to prove he has more to offers in the Manchester United even after all those criticism and hates and I think he possibly do better till he leaves the club.

For some clubs I don't see a significant change but now it is quite interesting where Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United and even surprise club Nottingham Forrest actually provide new colors for the EPL.

Last season Tottenham played very well at the beginning of the season because if I'm not mistaken they were managed by Conte before finally deciding to part ways for several reasons and now their performance has deteriorated a little at the beginning of the season, Chelsea's changes in the hands of Maresca show good signs for them to return to a decent position. For Manchester United, the wrong decision and the pros and cons of keeping Ten Hag at the beginning of the season must accept the consequences now that they are not doing well which makes it difficult for them and now they are trying to make changes with Amorim which of course can still be a risky option.

Last but not least, a club that wasn't even predicted to do well is now transforming into a troublesome club. Earlier this season Nottingham Forest performed very extraordinary and this is a situation that is really surprising to me because it never even crossed my mind that Nottingham could successfully survive in the top 15 after 11 weeks of EPL running.

There is definitely no reason to believe that if Arteta leaves, Arsenal somehow starts to win some games, in fact, I believe Arteta is one of the main reasons why they did so good and all those players look great on paper because he made them look good, which is why I believe we are not going to end up with seeing him leave.

I also agree with the idea that Arteta should stay at the team. It would really be unfair to assess managers irrespectively of their successes in the past. It is highly natural that Amorim also doesn't want to see Ruud at the team. Amorim can have difficulties in building authority over the players in Ruud's existence.

Manchester United has entered a new era, they are winning games convincingly. Imagine where the club would have been if they had fired Erik Ten Hag at the end of last season. Funny how Ruud van Nistelrooy had the same players as Erik Ten Hag but United all of a sudden are looking like they have a fire in them to win games. The players we thought were bad are actually doing better under Ruud. If Ruben Amorim can keep the momentum going, Manchester United may finish in a good spot this season.

I suspect that the Manchester United players intentionally fired Ten Hag since they seemed to be tired of him as manager as well. Ruud Van Nistelrooy used the same players that had been used and won the four games. They've scored 11 goals in the previous four games in all competitions. They played perfectly against Leicester City; even Casemiro was able to defend. Manchester United we have been waiting a long time to see, and I think they are back to winning ways. But before the season ends, let's see how amazing Rúben Amorim can make this team.

I don't think they will change their season goals so radically (from the title to the top 4) after a bad start. To have a champion mentality they have to want to win every game they have left, no matter if it means winning the title or just a ticket to the Champions League. Arsenal are in a slump at the moment, but maybe they will come out of it and others (including Liverpool) will experience their own slump, it is impossible to have a completely even season.
Thank you for this brake down; you shows that you know football and you understand how it works especially in the Premier League.

Just like other Leagues, the Premier League is getting tougher every season, the big six teams we used to know in the Premier League are looking for way to regain their balance after some bad seasons in the last two years, and if they all get back proper, the competition will be tough and to predict the winner and the top four teams will be very difficult.
This season, Liverpool under Arne Slot looks promising, but they will also pass through this situation both Arsenal and Manchester City are passing through, and both Arsenal and Manchester City will also get back to track soon since almost all their injured players are getting better especially Arsenal.
