I can't remember the time Manchester United won at the Etihad stadium but I know it's been a very long time ago but Ruben Amorim in his first Manchester derby was able to help the Red Devils win against Pep Guardiola's men. What made the win more memorable was the Portuguese manager's decision to leave Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho out of the match squad even when both wingers were fit and still got an important away win. Ruben Amorim once again have made Manchester United players come to terms with the fact that he can take any decision no matter how hard it looks to be and that I think will make the players work harder than they've ever did since signing for the club

No one is getting sacked. The Premier League is a competitive league and for a team to keep up with the competition at that high level they need to constantly replace weak links in the team and bring in new players that can improve the team’s overall performance. If not for the charges Manchester City are facing, I believe they would have indicated interest in several high quality players for the January transfer window.

It’s not about self confidence alone, there are some players that are injured which Pep Guardiola doesn’t have a proper replacement, so I will say Pep Guardiola will have to be active during the transfer window to get some players who will be helping him improve the club’s performance.

I agree with your first paragraph, but not the second. They need several transfers to improve their performance, especially in defense and defensive midfield. I clearly observed that, they need some additional players to improve their performance.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions like that as quickly as you, this wouldn't happen to Pep Guardiola because I'm sure Manchester City is very supportive of their coach and what he needs. You're right, it's hard to reach the quarterfinals with the team in such poor condition. Their defense is poor and they have also struggled to find more goals in their last many matches.
