The disrespect! The audacity!  How can you hate this man?  Roll Eyes

I never hated him since the moment I knew he was expelled from the team he was playing as a youngster in where the coach told him,you are not fit for this and football isn’t for you.I love how he has become a great coach winning Champions League titles although he never played football himself.Yes you cannot hate him.

Love it, well done Mourinho. It's probably a bit of a shot at some of the lower table teams who are trying every trick in the book to not finish the season.

Nah, it's a shot at the crybaby primadonna players who've said they don't want to play during the crisis. Most of them seem to be bigger names. Some of the shitter teams are being difficult though:

Premier League captains accused of using their agenda in Project Restart meeting

Premier League managers and players are getting frustrated with certain clubs said to be using their agenda to halt progress in restart talks.

If it gets to a point where the majority of teams have agreed to proceed and certain clubs are holding back they should just give them the dates when to start and if they don't want to play then fuck em and they just lose points if they don't play the matches. I'm sure clubs would turn their attitudes then.

All of us love him as long as he isn't our favorite team's coach lol. But surely Premier League is less entertaining without this awesome guy.
He is really great even many hate and some love with this guy because he can change things very quickly with his tactics.

He always makes controversies in his coaching but many who love Mounriho as a coach may still be able to rely on again.

The English league is now being seen by many coaches and players who always make news uproar.  Grin

So, this is not just about football at all, this is more about the city itself and if you want to play football in their city, you do need to go well with them, otherwise they could make the games a misery for you and they do have that right to do that. I think nothing will happen in the end tho.

He doesnt have any power to do that nor do he has any intention to do anything to it. Dont forget that once thing settle down and the whole world is free from the pandemic, the city will then be flooded by tons of fans again so that means a whole lot revenue for the city

Not sure what his intention is regarding his statement but I can guess is that either he is looking for a stage to talk about this stuff ( some attention seeking guy ) or he wants some money to be slipped into his pocket  Grin

Mayor doesn't even have to be from the place they are representing. You could be from somewhere totally related and govern somewhere else, there is nothing that stops that. Technically speaking Mayors do have some rights, not probably about football but things that could make their lives better. Like from busses to lights to everything in between, if you do not keep the Mayor happy, you may get something much worse from him with all the power they have over the city itself.

So, this is not just about football at all, this is more about the city itself and if you want to play football in their city, you do need to go well with them, otherwise they could make the games a misery for you and they do have that right to do that. I think nothing will happen in the end tho.

This plan invites comments from various parties, including the mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, according to him the city of London is still not ready to return to hold the English Premier League match

is that what he really thinks? or is it political posturing? if its behind closed door why does it make any difference where the stadium is? London or Timbuctoo same 22 players facing each other.

Shame for Mr Khan that it isn’t his decision. Boris said 1st June earliest & he’s the guy running the country.
The English Premier League has been stalled for two months, the organizers also have plans to resume competition, the government has also given permission that the competition can resume on 1 June.

This plan invites comments from various parties, including the mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, according to him the city of London is still not ready to return to hold the English Premier League match as well as assessing that the Premier League is too rushed to continue the 2019/20 season.

I also agree with you that the country's leaders are more powerful, so I think the League will start soon.

Edit:  Wait...  Is that real?  Are they really using it at practice?

Edit:  I'd like to see Alex Ferguson in one of those.  Lolol.

All in good time my friend. I swear the moment we get the 6 points we need to be guaranteed champions I’ll start calling for ‘null & void’ on the CL all over social media just like the jealous trolls of LFC have been for months.

‘It’s not safe to play CL games & travel abroad to other infected countries. Void it & let LFC still be reigning champs’

I guess their jobs are more important than the football teams they support. It doesn’t really matter what they think though because the call to restart & how it’s done will come from above them.

Premier League return on June 12: London mayor Khan says it is “too early” for the capital
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/news/view?id=360364

What's with the mayors opposing the PL restart plan? few days ago it was the Liverpool's mayor[1], I didn't take his comments seriously because I thought he was an Everton fan and stuff...But it seems like these guys are on the same wavelength Lips sealed

Khan claims he is a Liverpool fan tho. There is no relation between what club they support with their opinion as majors.
