As my experience, school uniform is necessary. It's good cost for family's wallet. Great saving. Children feel not a welth gap between others. It's fairness for them. To rganize the school point of view, it is very works. Just imagine that one day your child wear clothes like Lady gaga wearing in the school everyday
Is uniform really necessary to students? Do we really need to formalize students to study? In most asian countries many require School uniform, mostly because of distinction of schools. However in the US, students can wear whatever they want for as long as they follow the dress code of the school on what is considere appropriate. What are your thoughts in this matter, do we really need school uniforms for students? Give some specific reasons why or why not.
Honestly, clothing should not be a hindrance nor a subject of focus in education. The students could go to whatever clothes they wish to well as long as it is appropriate, this way it minimizes the expenses of parents when it comes to enrolling their kids to a good school. It doesn't really matter that much for me.

I think students need to wear school uniforms, I give you the following reasons, the first uniforms can clearly let people know that this person is a student, people will care, second uniforms can reduce comparisons psychology, because children will compare the price of clothes or brand, Consent to uniforms can reduce this from happening.
I don't think it matters. you can easily find reasonable arguments for and against but honestly this world has more important stuff to focus on, uniforms aren't important at all. We should be teaching students how to be happy instead of how to be "successful"
I am really divided on the question. On the one hand, it avoids distinction. As a kid, you are less judged on what you wear, which brand you have. but anyway, it will never erase inequality. On the other hand, well I wouldn't have been if I had to wear a uniform:)
Wearing school uniform is symbolize that you're a student but it depend on school if they don't want to have school uniform bit in our country uniform is must in order to know if you are students or not.
i think the school uniform represents the first way to teach children respect and to have a nice attitude rather then to do whatever they want and to be desrespectful
I don't like school uniform. I believe that clothes is a self-expression. Noone can deprive a child, and even more so, a teenager this right. But at the same time I think there is necessary to introduce a dress code in school. Certain rules have to be. This disciplines students.

That's true. When I was a student, I used to wear the uniform and I never complained about it. Still there were special occasions (twice or thrice a year), when we were permitted to wear whatever we want. But as you said, even during such rare occasions, the class divide became quite prominent. The poor kids could not afford good clothes and I could notice their lack of confidence and sadness.

In my opinion, if the students go to school in free clothes. There will be social gaps between the poor and the rich. This can lead to psychological problems in students, such as decreasing the spirit of students learning in school because they see a friend who has clothes that are all luxurious. Or generate bully behavior among students.
For me it is necessary to have school uniform to identify the school where they belong. It is nice to see the students in the same clothes.

In my personal point of view, school uniform is needed in every school. There are many advantages of having school uniform. First, you will be easily identified as a student of that school. Second, you dont have to be worried on what to wear in the next school days. Third, it will give you a sense of belongingness that you actually belong to that school.
it is quite clear that schools that have uniforms have better disciplinary records as compared to "liberal" schools. uniforms prevents childhood envy to owe same clothes or shoes as their friends. i think pupils should wear uniform for a while until they are more mature to choose what they wear everyday
School uniforms are needed at school: It makes us feel that we are at school. With the help of uniforms children can express their emotions and also make us feel at school. Though expensive it is very useful and motivating.It also shows formality and respect to elders. So in my opinion they should not be banned.

We should wear our uniform property to show respect to our school and it represent the school where we studied and follow the dress code of being a student I suppose, there's no need of it. It formalises the mind too much, and free minds are what makes people geniuses.

I agree with you. School uniform makes frames, it is very bad for creative people, it limits them. I can't imagine this situation. There were not uniform in my school. I think It would be very sad to wear uniform.

School uniform is good to recognize the school that you enter.and look neat to student.
If children wear appropriate clothes to school, uniform it is not really necessary I think. It must be some rules in school of course concerning clothes, but that's enough.
Choosing what clothes to wear everyday can be a drag for some people like me. Therefore I prefer wearing uniform in schools. It’s a also a security and safety measure, since outsiders can be easily spotted. Also, I think seeing hundreds of students wearing the same uniform is pretty cool and look so organized.
