a lot of coins that can be used for long-term but I prefer Ethereum and Bitcoin for long-term because these two coins have blockchain technology and can survive in a long time and can be profitable

Cardano is a promising coin, I think it is possible but as of now it is in bearish movement. I suggest other altcoins like NEO and NEM because this two altcoins haven't pump up for the past month. Long term, Ada is ok, Capital of all crypto is 10 times low than stock market, it means the price of top coin maybe increase up at least 2 times from these prices now
I agree with your opinion ADA coin is good but you should choose Bitcoin coin because bitcoin has a good future. You have to check the market often so you do not fall with the coin you hold now

A lot of people here are recommending ada and eos, both of which are great investments but as they have already pumped you won't get any stratospheric gains, unless you already invested in them last year. A better suggestion is LISK which is releasing their DAPP ready platform later this year
