For long term Waves is a good option this is in the process of growing and has many upgrades to be made however is an investment for 1 to 3 years, depends on what you define in the long run.

I agree that altcoin like Cardano will be profitable in the long term, but maybe for now, ADA is not a first choice. I think for a period of 2-3 months we inevitably have to follow the herd, and the trend on the new altcoin, especially the younger altcoin.

With $ 500, if you want a decent profit in 2-3 months, maybe you should bet on altcoin with a small market capitalization.
Maybe a coin like Tron could double in three months, but of course the risk is also greater.
I suggest you can invest also in Ethereum, it has a good chance of a huge growth before end of this year as I predict.

Cardano may have everything need to be a global altcoin, but I think to get a profit in 2-3 months you should find the altcoin that is really at its lowest price. And for the famous coins I think have almost the same trend within three months.

Cardano has an enormous supply, and that might make the price cheaper.
I believe Cardano has a future because it is developed very seriously. But I am not sure it will make a profit in 2-3 months.

ADA is great choice. Cardano is very promising project. But I would add also Ethereum and NEO, may be some Ripple. At the moment Bitcoin is very low so have it in mind as option as well.

cardano is a good coin for us to make a long term investment but it may take 1-2 years to get a lot of profits but if you will hold for 2-3 months then you will not get much profit

PRL is really good. I do think PRL will hit around $10 this year because a lot of things will happen after mainnet release. Main net will be the best thing that will happen to PRL so invest now while it is still below $1. I promise you, you won't regret anything.
I guess that when the market turns out to be bullish again, those will get pumped so hard. The opportunity for both coin I can say is great and it's not yet to be popular, just like when stratis still at early stage, no one knows, but by the time being, it become popular.
Ethereum is good for long term, might hit $5000 soon but if you want to earn huge on day trading you can buy ETH and sell high to USDT you can make 10% daily for sure ETH can move from $500+ to $700+ a day and still dip back to $400+
