Hello, in my opinion it's the best time to buy some eth or btc cause the marked si going up daily so if you wanna have some profit go for it now,
ETH and Bitcoin are always the top two coin in my portfolio. I think you should buy now, because ETH is likely to hit $2000 later this year. Choose a rebate and buy, to maximize your profits.
Both ETH and bitcoins are good. ETH is not a just another cryptocurrency, it is fuel for Etherium(ERC20 token) platform. When the increase of the ERC20 token, that means ETH price is also automatically going up. Bitcoin has the very limited amount of coin, that also makes price increment. I suggest to 30% ETH ,30% bitcoin and 40 Alts coin.

Is buying ETH currently a good idea, or should I be going with Bitcoin?
Both are recommended and promising investments as both are belong to the top level coins in which is suggest you to split your capital and invest to these coins but if you really want to choose only one then better to invest in Bitcoin because it is the most promising currency in which highly tested and trusted by the most traders and investors as you can see in the market or you may search it in the internet thru Google the high level performance of this coin.

I think that the ETH should be bought now and waiting for the price of 1-2 thousand. Especially if you want to participate in icos in future you should buy now cheap Ethereum.

I think both are good investments, if you want to benefit from both you should plan the right strategy in investing, and the conditions are now in an upward trend. 
It's good idea to buy eth now this coins always rise up but i think it's better if you buy both btc and eth this is more profitable these two coins are worth to invest you have assurance to make profit if you buy these coins at low price because both coins always rise even it's have a huge fall.

I think buying eth is always a good idea. Ethereum is already an establish coin, so having or buying some is great decision. Also its value is so much greater now compared to the first time eth was introduced. If your buying to buy some eth, I think now is the right time while the market is still low. But on the other hand, if you have some extra money, you should also buy bitcoin. Diversify is always a good strategy.

For fast growth, BTC would be a good choice but beware of its market because it can easily fall down especially if there's a bad/negative news about BTC so people will panic sell to avoid a big loss. ETH for sustainability and security because many believe that ETH would be the future no.1 cryptocurrency in the market and its the only alternative coin that can compete with BTC. Actually, there is no best choice it will always depend on how you will manage your investment. Before buying BTC or ETH you must learn the basic principle of trading.
