I think you should allocate SOME of your money in Eth. However, don't even think about putting your entire life savings into one asset. That's actually one recipe for disaster.

I think, you have much better coins to earn more money than ETH.
ETH is awesome project and strong but ETH have high price, its better to invest to another altcoin with low price.

you definitely have to buy the ethereum, but not all your money, you have to put another coin in the basket.
Buying Ethereum now is really a good choice, but I don't think it is right for you to buy Ethereum for all your money. The investment in the encryption market is not a short-term investment and it will not bring you profit in the short term. i think that's not good. because we can not be sure will get the benefits that match with what we want.
I don't support you to invest your all money in one project. Because if the coin falls then you are gone and out of the market. So different platform is much better. And if you would like to earn some good free coins then try for @SciDexofficial meme competition. There is a good chance to win. 
I think that this is the choice of each personally. The Ambit Mining https://ambitmining.io/ is a very promising coin and I like it, but I always choose to minimize my risks

I dont think putting all your assets in one coin is wise. Better at least to have alternative crypto to hold in case something in eth will go wrong. Although right now its price is stable.
Why do you want to invest only in one coin? Yes, Ethereum is a great coin and it has a big potential but this is too risky to invest in one coin. Moreover, this is not the most profitable strategy. Choose few promising coins, maybe NEM, EOS, NEO, ETH of course, and etc. It's up to you. It will be much better.

I agree. But the problem in splitting your investment is that there will be low chances of getting 100x or 1000x returns. If you invest in a single currency, and if you are lucky, then you may end up as a millionaire. I guess that is what the OP want.

At the beginning of the year, investors had high hopes with Ethereum. But after a while, it has started to come down sharply and now it is under $400, so you should buy with a reasonable amount of money, if not all.
