Due to work reasons, I have plenty of sleep time. But I always have insomnia, and I don't know why. And after I finally fell asleep, I always dreamed. Because of always dreaming, I won't feel refreshed the next morning, on the contrary I feel more tired than before going to bed.

I sleep 6 hours a day because I have been very busy at work. You need to get up early in the morning and work late at night. Because of work reasons, I often feel anxious, so my sleep quality is also affected.

How many hours do you sleep in a day and how sleeping actually feels?
I sleep 7-8 hours a day.  Sleep is a very important thing in human life.  Sleep is actually very good, and nothing in the world comes to mind when you sleep.

I sometimes sleep from 10 pm and wake up at 04.30. it feels so refreshing to wake up. but if I wake up after 4 in the morning, I always feel that my body is not refreshed. so in my opinion too much sleep is not good, lack of sleep is also not good. so it's better to sleep sufficiently according to each.

My daily sleep time is about eight hours. My sleep quality is very good. I almost never dream and rarely suffer from insomnia. I always go to sleep quickly. I rarely experience insomnia. Before I go to bed, I will listen to some songs, which will make it easy for me to go to sleep, and sometimes I will drink coffee with some, but this does not affect the quality of my sleep.

I sleep seven hours a day. I don’t take a lunch break at noon. I still feel very tired every day. I think about going to bed early, but I can’t sleep every time I lie in bed.

some of you folks with the outlier times really need to see a sleep specialist and get a sleep study done. proper sleep is far more important than many might think. there are several stages of sleep and all are important. some stages are for the brain and some stages are for the body.

of course society today with its mandated work shifts, swing shifts, multiple jobs, impossible study schedules and such isnt really that conducive to proper sleep hygiene.

Because I suffer from insomnia, it’s a luxury for me to get a good night’s sleep. I usually wake up in two or three hours, or I can’t sleep all night, which makes my whole person in a bad state of mind.

Has anyone ever tried resetting their sleep and seeing how many hours they naturally need by not setting an alarm for a week? or better still camping with no electronics for a week?

I am more lethargic. Under normal circumstances, I have to sleep for at least eight hours before I think that sleep is enough. If I don't have to work too early during the day, I can sleep for ten hours or more.
same here mate , if given a chance to have more sleep , i took the advantage and sleep as long as i can .

once i tried sleeping 12 straight hours , and i felt like a Newborn when i woke up.

Lucky you Both that at least you can complete the whole 8 hours sleep, while us can only afford 6 hours maximum sleeping time at night.

but i try to take a Nap at least 20 mins in the afternoon.

I usually slept 7-8 hours a day,it's make me felt relaxes.
