Congratulations to the winner of this round!

About the race, i have to say, for me it ended be a really boring race, another procession, yes we have always that expectation of "anything can happen" or "look now Hamilton its on Sainz DRS zone" "now Alonso its more close to LEclrec", "Verstappen its gonna push in the final", but in the end were all a big WHAT IF?, WHAT IF a SF its deployed?, What if etc...

But no one happen and a boring race with ton of expectation.

Well it is time finally to get another race this very upcoming weekend and this is what makes us all F1 fans happy,we need action and last time around the track of Miami proved really good as it produced one of the most beautiful races of the last season if I remember correctly which coincided with the Redbull turning point as they were suffering Ferrari dominance before this race.

Congrats to ILuckyGuyI for winning this race yellow cap,I personally did the worse of all tournament as I put some bold predictions which were based on Mercedes boss interviews which unfortunately as this race showed had nothing true in them,no massive improvement were seen and they were still struggling with the tires.

I must admit that it wasn't as delightful as the Australian GP. But there were some points in which the race got better. Safety car added some more excitement to the race. Because Verstappen pitted a very short time before safety car entered. This was a negative thing for him because Perez and Leclerc benefited from the chance by pitting under safety car. They both managed to stay ahead of Verstappen.

Leclerc was still slow to be able to compete with Red Bulls though. Verstappen didn't have much problem on overtaking him. But it was Perez's moment this time to win this race. Alonso fought for podium again but he fell behind Leclerc very much later on. If I checked it right nobody in the pool was able to predict Russell's fastest lap.    But it was pretty unexpected.

Thanks, it was close. Unfortunately I didn't make the good decision at the F1 sportsbet pool Perez before Verstappen. Thanks anyway. Very hard to say I'll bet once as it looks like Ferrari are slightly better on the city circuits, in the race:

But very difficult to judge, and nobody is allowed to have a defect.

Any early predictions for Miami?  

Fmbetbru, who's that again? Smashing performance to top the table after Baku, but you know what's even more impressive? Did it without the early bru points, so you could have been 2 whole points ahead. Curious, though, was this deliberate? And if so, did qualifying help you predict the eventual race positions?

I did really bad in this race as I knew Perez to be the winner and I got and placed Verstappen to win the race,also Verstappen as the fastest lap while this race showed some changes in what the teams had achieved during such time.Unfortunately I can conclude that nothing has really changed as the Redbull drivers are fighting against each other and they are not being challenged by any other team,the teams had 1 month to improve their cars and in such time they did improve somewhat but this was clearly not enough to fight with Redbull.I am afraid we have to accept that the 2023 season is going to be a long and boring one.

I lost a point PP, then another point for the FL and then another 2 half points (1 point) for correct position of Sainz (5th) and Alonso (4th), at least three chances to tie the Yellow cap. 

Nice to have different names in PP (Leclerc), FL (Russell) in this fourth race.

I think the smartest bettors are the ones who took Perez to win at 6.50 before the Sprint Race started,this was a massive odd for him while we all know that in street circuits he is the best driver of all the pack in F1 so far.I know it is early and Max Verstappen is doing all he can to close the gap but yet he is not being able to get into DRS zone in order to overtake Perez.I find it difficult to find live betting for F1 in most casinos and I don't know why they don't do it,there is a lot that can change in a F1 race so really surprised by seeing that almost all reputable casinos have no live betting on F1.

If you look at pure odds alone, looking at top 10 betting, seems like a good choice. Pole is always good for me above 1.5 if they were originally expected to finish top 10 anyway!

But the problem for me is not his ability but his machine. Sprint and pole don't push the car to the max for a long time. Ferrari is unreliable, and to me has 10% chance of breaking down during race, which is high!

The Safety Car deployed helped more Perez than Verstappen which got first in the pit and I thought now Perez would lose a lot of time but not,Verstappen was the guy who lost to both Perez and Leclerc and the top guys in the front like Verstappen and Hamilton made a really bad timed pit stop so now it will be interesting to see the restart.I think we all know how it will end,Perez is going to win as he drives really well in this track,in fact in the interview he said there is something about this track who suits my driving style and he was already faster than Verstappen despite being second.Hopefully it gets more interesting with the hard tires because with the medium ones they were graining a lot.

I think this would be a sensible option to bet on for this Grand Prix. Indeed Red Bull drivers are still in a better condition than Leclerc. I appreciated Leclerc's high effort for pole position but I think that's it. It is too difficult for him to maintain this success by winning the race also unless Red Bull drivers have some serious issues during the race. Verstappen could have been faster in the sprint race also if it weren't for Russell's causing some damage to the side of his car.

Perez already looks like faster than Leclerc as he proved it in the sprint race also. I feel like one of the Verstappen and Perez duo will be the winner of the race and the other one will follow right behind. But after them I expect Leclerc to come. Because I also don't see anyone being able to drive faster than Leclerc among the rest of the drivers. Leclerc should be on podium unless Ferrari make tactical mistakes again or Leclerc has some problem with his car.

Good question, most likely everyone had Verstappen or Perez on pole but if someone has Leclerc on pole, it's an important, additional point over everyone else.
It'll be interesting to see tomorrow if someone put Leclerc on pole.

From today's sprint, it'll be difficult for Charles Leclerc to get a win. Red Bull is very fast on the straight.
But today, Leclerc also managed to hold Verstappen behind him.
Race will be way earlier compared to sprint race, so track temperature will be higher. Maybe it'll be a factor to consider as Ferrari seems to be a bit stronger when temperatures have been higher, surprisingly (Sprint qualification has been Leclerc's strongest session so far).
However, bookmakers are not in favor of Leclerc. Verstappen is predicted to win easily.
Even Perez is much more likely to win compared to Leclerc, it's really massive:



I'm not going to take advantage from these high odds on a Leclerc win as I don't expect Leclerc to win but bookmakers are also giving very interesting odds for Leclerc podium compared to Verstappen and Perez:



Odds of 1.80 podium Leclerc are a good deal in my opinion because I can't see anyone who's stronger.
Leclerc might be passed by Verstappen and Perez but I can't see who else will pass him.
- Sainz has been pretty weak compared to Leclerc in Baku.
- Hamilton is not very competitive as well
- Russell is starting from too far behind
- Aston Martin is struggling in Baku as well.
Of course, a safety car can always happen of Ferrari have an engine issue but odds of 1.80 are really looking profitable for a Leclerc podium, considering Leclerc starts from pole.

Ferrari with the right strategy can even end up winning the race but that to happen needs a perfect orchestration of the strategy and also a perfect run from Leclerc,he did race well in the sprint although Redbull is still the car to beat as they seem to have that one gear more compared to other cars.For me is a big surprise that Leclerc will start first tomorrow as the Sprint will not count for the starting grid as for the new regulations of the FIA during this season,so as I said,Leclerc needs to get away in the first lap,create a distance during the first 2-3 laps enough for Redbull to not use DRS and Ferrari team to execute a perfect strategy and we may have the first different winner this season in the race.

I didnt wake up in time so i cant see any of the sprint race format this time.

Perez winning the sprint race so, nothing change in the end. Ferrari seems strong but again lets see in the lon g run on sunday. Mercedes recovering some pace after a bad qualy on friday. I think we can see a very nice race in sunday with Ferrari Mercedes and Aston Martin fighting for podium positions.

Except some Ferrari fans most probably no one on Superbru would put Leclerc at pole position because of Ferrari recent races performance which were not the best and they were far from fighting for the pole in all few previous races.I think now that the odds of Perez 6.50 is a good one while we know he to be one of the best drivers for city circuits as he is the previous winner of Baku and also of Monaco,two city circuits in the F1 calendar.

The odd of 1.44 I have said several times for Verstappen no matter how great of a driver he is I don't think it can justify the winning of such a race where anything can happen,we already had one red flag in qualifying so it is a really low odd not worth taking the risk.

Didn't it happen in Q3? Because I remember one time they had exactly the same lap time in Q3 first but Leclerc captured the pole position later.

This is a really impressive poster by Ferrari for the Azerbaijan GP.    But it looks like poster is not the only good work they do for this race week. Leclerc has made a really great start to the week by having the pole position. I must admit that I was expecting Verstappen to take it instead and Leclerc to be right behind him. This effort is giving me some hope about Leclerc for the race also but let's see.

By the way for the people who don't know, the sprint format has changed a little. From now on, there is an additional session named Sprint Shootout.

This session is going to have three parts - SQ1,SQ2 and SQ3. The time lengths are respectively 12, 10 and 8 minutes for them. Teams have to use medium tyres for the first 2 sessions and soft tyres for the last one.

ESPN shown at the official transmission for Q2 that they had done the same timing, Verstappen and Leclerc. Obviously the official results leave a difference.

Did anyone made Leclerc pole position prediction in Superbru website?
It was sure a surprise to me, but this was a nice comeback for Ferrari and Leclerc winning pole position, he seems to like Azerbaijan Grand Prix very much as this is not his first time making good results here.
Carlos Sainz was fourth place that was another great result but qualifications are different from actual race.
I still think team one of the Red Bull team members will win the race, but odds change now in Leclerc favor, Verstappen still have lowest odds:

In only watched the Q3 and it was truly surprise by the pace of the Ferrari, i didnt expect that, and it was not a one lap thing, it was really good pace.

Lets see if in the race they can maintain this one.

One thing to notice its this can be a lie, because maybe they were the only team to catch the correct set up with only one practice, so lets see if the rest of the field in the coming days with more data change this.
