All referees hate some clubs. All football fans hate one or two or more clubs. Its okay to say it, I hate Real Madrid. I don't think we should punish people so badly for having passion.

BUT at the same time, I would personally declare that I can't referee any game in Spain. Ask cricket people to referee football and football people to referee cricket. This is my final solution Wink
Isn't it just better to swap countries? I mean if you are big United supporter and you hate Liverpool you shouldn't be refereeing in England but why not trying your luck in Germany or Spain. Those that are passionate about some clubs usually keep it on just few clubs. You can't really hate 10 clubs there is only capacity for 1 or maybe 2  Grin

He gets paid to keep matches balanced and to ensure that his decisions do not affect the outcome of the game; his emotions and affection for certain clubs are secondary and should be kept to himself; his job does not allow for that. BTW, he never claimed he hated Liverpool; he simply hates Klopp for reasons known to him, but Klopp is no longer with us.

Attack of super boring nations league, so let me try to break it with one question.
Did you hear about the news for one of the referees in Premier League David Coote and his drug powder snorting scandal?
He is known for hating Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool so maybe you know about him.

Hehe yeah its been old news already.

Personally, I support what Roy Keane said.

Well here we are in another boring international break as I long for the return of club football. A trip to Southampton for Slot’s men upon the return. Should be another 3 points but this is a tough league.

So it seems the hearing for the Man City charges are concluding this month. Not that we'll get any decision as City are sure to appeal (the news seems to suggest they are about to be found guilty on a whole lot of the charges) to drag this out over the season end. I have a dumb bet on City relegation so heh, that's out the window.

Isn't it too early for title contention discussion? We still have Brighton and Nottingham forest occupying important slots on the table.

Always too early. Remember City even look in trouble as late as January and February before mounting a spree of wins. City, Arsenal, hopefully Liverpool are all capable of these 8/9/10 game winning streak so it's too early. Always has been in November, always will be.

It's my first season and the flavors are still far from what I expected... Lol the rankings are too far to chase despite having a little knowledge of Premier League matches still guessing the score is a difficult thing... back to luck to get a lot of points.

I've relied on prediction score sites on various platforms but the results are still bad... hahaha I know the luck factor might be influential. Cheesy

Yeah it’s very tough, we can look at the odds for each game and see what pundits think but often they know just as much as us which is nothing Cheesy

They will need to report for duty to be accessed by the National medical team and if they pull out from the beginning they may not get reviewed at all. This is not a habit any player can make however as it could lead to them not getting any call ups at all.
Not sure if any of them will resign, it's a chance for them even though they are tired of so many fixtures, but it's true that if players resign without a clear reason, they could potentially not be called up in the World Cup competition later.

First time hearing about this. Is it a football competition or you mean the UEFA Nations League?
Yep that's right Nations League, are you watching this match? Grin

He met with Amorim earlier this week, and the result was that Ruud would not be staying. Amorim did not grant him a spot. Carrick was treated the same way after ETH came in. Amorim will be available for the Ipwish game.
I think he has been working with the same backroom staff since his Braga days and after building a working formula fitting in RVN will be a difficult task to do. There is also the risk of egos colliding.

It is not so early, more than a quarter of the season has already passed and there have been regular contenders for a couple of seasons now. Nottingham will need to perform for much longer to insert themselves into the discussion for a top 4 spot. Brighton I think are in a position they can easily finish in come end of the season.

Well apparently, he won't necessarily start the Ipswich game according to some updates about his contract. And if that contract's signed though, it means they can't actually change their mind about RvN even if they thought he was doing something, no? But hey, they can screw themselves deeper for all I care Wink

Only difference is that Chelsea are not title contenders, at least not yet, so the point would not mean as much. I would expect Liverpool in the form they are in to take all three points from the Bridge, so in the title race it is 2 points lost, more than 1 point gained.

Hard to avoid!!! they have a medical team.  Grin
If the players can avoid joining their national teams then they will be happy with the long time they have to rest.

Tomorrow you can watch the league of nations, but I honestly don't like this match.

Man so good to see many English players injured for internationals. Hope that starves the contest of quality, then we get them booted out in the end (fancy wishing I know won't happen!!).
Not saying that is what they are doing, but as the matches get to crunch in harder we may see more players feign injuries close to the break to avoid joining the National squads and getting a 2-week period of rest before club football returns.

I would say some of them are even doing in on 'advice' of their club doctors. I know how it works. Sometimes in the past I would go to a doctor just to get medicine for a sickness, and doctor will say I work too long. He can give medical leave, for 2 days or even 3 days.

So I know I can get it, and tell my company, and even it is true I am sick. But I know I can work, just with medicine and lozenge.

So it is not like the players are faking injuries, it is real, but doctors are more inclined to protect the player, than the country.

But nobody will complain here anyway, both employer and employee gain Smiley

No club football for the next 11 days will make for very boring weekends.

Guys dont curse me again hahahaha.

I still remember ended up second two seasons ago one point behind after being the leader for a few rounds, and in the last season i was at top also a few round and ended up the season in a horrible way and out of any price position.

And now here we are again......   Cheesy Grin

I would never curse you my fellow Latin futbol bro from another mom, but you have to share your gains with me lol

I would take 2nd and 3rd place any day if it means I get it in many pools, but to lose everything after just the last few rounds is a terrible curse. GL this time Wink

I see this as accurately as I saw our draw at Emirates as a good result. It was a great point!

Manutd should cancel Amorim contract and give Ruud a chance till January, he's building something right there. It would be unfair to get him off the hook at this pace. This could be another Carrick to ETH situation.

A draw at the Bridge is a good result in the grand scheme of things, proud of the performance of the boys.

I think, in the end. We can say a lot of it is luck but we do tend to forget we're in very, very good company. Take a look at the global rankings at the season end, remove the players who've given up in our pool, and you see we're really pretty competitive. Hey, if LFC keep up this form, our only problem now is to figure out the correct scoreline Wink

The thing is last season i leaded the pool for 90% of the season and lost it in the last rounds with some crazy unlucky results and this is what really got me mad. I was in the position you were in leading big and dropping heavily.
Also this season could have been close to you if some late goals didnt kill me and now barely in the top 20 but still a lot of time to go to get close to you.

I won it one season, came second once but I’ve been terrible for a few seasons in a row now. I feel like last minute goals are screwing me all the time or I end up with lots of 1.5 points for close scores but very few exact scores. It’s the name of the game I guess, such fine margins.

Luck is an important factor thats what determinates the winner of the pool . While knowledge gets you to the top of the pool. Last season my knowledge kept me in the first two places but because of my luck i ended up being second. The match that decided everything was Luton vs Everton . I had 2-1 omni that was then second had 1-1. Two goal lines saves from everton players lost me the three points and thats when i lost the lead and lost it all

The updated pool table after this round of fixtures (the top 10).

It is so close.

I Still dont know why i have a diferent avatar.

For example Darbit had a huge lead over everyone by i think 15 points and it all changed quickly in 2-3 rounds and now i think is only 1 point leading.
Darbit had the biggest lead after round 7 with 8 points difference from the second place.

And is now leading the premier league pool table with 4.5 points difference from the second place.
