True, but I didn't want to use those words because whomever is in charge of Arsenal's set piece training should be sent to jail before every GK in the league suffers shoulder and hip injuries from Ben White, Gabriel, and Saliba pressing. Arteta is just too cool for such dark art. There's is Micheal Scofield somewhere running the show.

Those fake injuries are part of the dark art I'm sure of it..

Ooo but we've always needed one of those teams, didn't we? Didn't realise it would be lightweight Arsenal doing it after Vieira era long gone. Definitely shouldn't be too surprised Arteta was the instigator. I'm not even mad at all. Newcastle shithousery isn't so nice to see but Arsenal seems to get under everyone's skin. Actually looking forward to meeting their new look dark art bois.

Liverpool always lose their form after the breaks. It happened many times with us. The next match is against Chelsea and in Anfield. A draw or even losing all three points would not surprise me.

O ye of little faith. I'm hoping for a lot of fun. I know Slot wants a calm and measured approach. I'm hoping Palmer and co have other plans to force us to shift gear up!

What I offered is 1.95 currently on Sportsbet's betbuilder, so a fair deal. The bet was meant to be for banter considering he's a Chel$ki fan, I can take it anywhere but probably won't.
We both are from the same side. flumpnuggets is not interested so no fun LOL

Hey @Igebotz - LFC vs CHE for the weekend. Any sidebets? Grin

I say you lose, with us scoring 2 or more. Even odds, what do you say?

I will pass this one - not making any bet until I'm out of the spider Webb. I guess you already know why.... This is me saving your 2mbtc.

Could be another Arteta masterclass...

but those who were in flying form now have to somehow find that form back.

And perfectly healthy players to get injured. Just look what happened to Saka and Havertz. Don't know the details but if Arsenal lost both in addition to loosing Odegaard earlier it will be a big blow for their title hopes.
It will suck if both are not fit for the trip to Bournemouth next weekend, another reason why more international breaks are not healthy, Ødegaard's injury was also sustained while on international assignment, but he should be match ready sooner rather than later.

Could be another Arteta masterclass...

Could be another Arteta masterclass to draw both of his best players from international break as fast as possible to rest them for premier League games, he can't afford to lose Trossard, Ode, Saka and Kai at the same time.

Halaand, Saka both faked international break injury last season so I won't be surprised if this is another fake injury thing.

A boring weekend. No football. These break sucks.
The disruption also makes it difficult to predict the form teams will return to league football with. Those who were in poor form are grateful for the break cause they get to reset, but those who were in flying form now have to somehow find that form back. I remember when Arsenal lost a game just before international break around this point last season and that made the entire 2 weeks wait dreadful, cause that loss hangs over the team for much longer.

Only good thing is it gives more time for already injured players to achieve match fitness.

Yeah six weeks sucks, two of them are this international break though so maybe that’s one positive Cheesy
But what do you think who is going to replace him and be on goal for Liverpool if they dont bring Mamardashvili from Valencia?
Vitezslav Jaros or Caoimhin Kelleher?
Kelleher is playing for Ireland national team and Jaros was on loan before.

It will be Kelleher I think. He has stood in for Alisson before and done pretty well.

Don’t quote me on it but I think there is an agreement with Valencia for Mamardashvili to stay with them for the whole season. I don’t think we have an option to recall him.

He missed 19 games last season due to injury - the end of Allison is near, it was beautiful while it last. His injury records isn't looking good.

I actually agree and think it’s why we made the Mamardashvili deal. Being injury prone as a goalkeeper is ridiculous.

Not Liverpool, the rumours are pointing towards Germany national team which we can't rule out the possibility because the national team won't be as stressful as club football and they don't play every weekend so he's still be having time on his hand to eat the burgers as you said lol. Klopp has a good reputation in Germany but Redbull don't so I don't see this partnership lasting that long as klopp can't change the fans mind about Redbull.

Nagelsmann wants club football and will likely leave after the world cup so there's going to be an open slot to fill and it'll fit Klopp so well or do you think he'll reject the privilege of managing his nation?

Unfortunately, both scenarios are unlikely to happen given that Klopp's 5-year contract with Redbull does not include an exit clause, and Nagelsmann will remain out of club football and focus on the national team until after the 2026 World Cup. I am not ruling out the possibility of Nelgelsmnan getting sacked before the World Cup or abandoning the national team for club football, but I highly doubt it.

They suck very much and Nations League are worst of them.
Normal qualifications for EURO or World Cup are way better competition.
I was just reading in news that Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson is out for six weeks because of hamstring injury.
Maybe Giorgi Mamardashvili is coming from Valencia on loan, but this is a big blow for Liverpool.

Return to management at 57? Probably 60 years after leaving Redbull, when he could just sit in VIP and eat burgers without worrying about training, travelling around the continent scouting potential, and bringing home huge checks to his wife. Internal position is really good for someone of his age; perhaps he might return to Liverpool as something different but not as a coach.

I’m missing the PL & CL games. These international breaks suck, it’s hard to believe there are three international breaks before the end of November. The season starts in mid August and we have three fortnight breaks within a few months, what a load of crap.

With his current position he will be behind the scenes and away from the media.
Maybe this job is quite easy according to him.
He never did say it was easy, I was only suggesting that not being on the spot and having to deal with the media pressure and front page headlines will be a welcome changes after years of competing fr titles across different countries in Europe.

I just act like it is a break and do not pay much attention to it except to check if any players picked up injuries while on national duty.
