A question for you big Lpool fans. If somebody offered you to lose against Bayern in the next Cl match but to guarantee you that Lpool will have 1 point more then City before last game in Premier League, would you take it?

We would only need to beat Wolves then at Anfield to be Champions. I’m in my early 30’s, I’ve never seen us win the title so 100% yes, I would take that deal right now.

@buwaytress - Great performance, what a win. Me & my younger brother were there in the Kenny Dalglish Stand so we got a great view of the 3 goals in the second half. Had to squint to see the first two goals Grin
Saw then on highlights, Mane’s 2nd wow.

I tell you what will be a HUGE statement of intent - go to Everton a win. That would make us favourites to be Champions I think. I don’t have tickets for this game. My next one is Spurs at the end of March.

I think it'll go to the wire (and I hope it does, it'll make for a more exciting end of the season).  And it will depend on how both clubs handle the pressure now.

I’m desperate for this toke

It was a great presentation from Liverpool after few mediocre games. They need few more games like this to catch City on goal difference front. This season looks really tight and could be decided in the last game so every small detail could prove crucial in the end.

@buwaytress - I think we just need to take it one game at a time. Let’s beat Watford & prepare for the Derby. If we match City’s results then we’ll be Champions.

So the formula works. I just need to predict 1 goal more than my usual 3-0, and we get the biggest win of the season. Could easily have been more, Salah was superb, so strange to see his name missing from the goals for assists. Clean sheet, no injuries, no cards, 5 goals to cut the difference to City to 6. And Watford weren't a bad team at all.

City getting a soft penalty, they must really feel the stars were shining on them, but to be fair, we've also had a 1-0 game from a penalty.

@LFC you're just tearing up the leaderboard, aren't you? panjul breathing down your neck with his yellow cap. I'm actually bottom... those below me aren't making their picks anymore.

You're right my friend. I'm going to predict 4-0 tonight, enjoy the game and let football take care of itself. I hope we rest Bobby and give Shaq a start for a change. Salah was rated poorly back on the right but I actually thought he did well in familiar territory.

By the way, does anyone else feel weird that we have 3 ex Liverpool managers playing in the same league now that Brendan Rodgers is managing Leicester? Credit to Roy for making Palace look seriously good, Rafa for getting the best out of Rondon and the Magpies on the usual shoestring budget. I'd love for him to get them to Europa next season, but maybe not too late to see Rodgers do that for the Foxes?

Hey man, if I’m to win I want it to be fairly. May the best man win?
I've been called a lot of things, but rarely the "best" man. Grin Game on!

I think I have totally won 5 or 6 times yellow cap, and yet still cannot do anything about me slipping down this top 5.
I think I've only won 1 or 2 yellow caps, I'm just seem to be consistently getting good scores each week. I'm sure my luck is due to run out soon enough.

@LFC, hope you do better than either City or Liverpool at keeping a lead on the summit. It's really going to have to be wins all the way from here onwards for the Reds. The good news is we host the last 2 Big Six at Anfield (Spurs and Chelsea) so I'm confident of those games. It's the banana peels like Everton or Watford coming up I'm more worried about.

I'm watching tonight but I actually don't know which game is showing on my package. Hopefully the Wolves one.

buwaytress it seems you should stop predicting big wins for Liverpool they are very blunt these last games. Time to predict 0-0 so they can score a lot?

@slaman Actually, you might have a point. Maybe I will switch from 3-0 and go for 4-0 after all for the next few games Wink

Trofo did you survive Sunday shopping?

It was a close call. I managed to skip about hour of shopping on pretense to watch our baby girl. We went to the cafe where I bribed her with cake and lemonade to let me watch Liverpool in peace. They could have at least scored some goals to make it more interesting. Financial damage is still being assessed, I am hoping I will not be forced to sell my car to cover credit card bills  Huh I am only joking a little bit here, there is a grain of uncomfortable truth in that last sentence.

LFC_Bitcoin and oeleo, you guys have been in top spot for as long as I can remember. I think I stayed a few times in the prize spots, but I remember that was the period I was very lucky with exact scores. Lots more points to go, and I shouldn't have taken some risks but then where's the fun right?

o_e_l_e_o is cutting my lead down every week, shit man. We have midweek games & weekend games this week so lots of room to get points.
Mate, you shouldn't have said anything. I had totally forgotten about the games on tomorrow and Wednesday! Shot yourself in the foot there. Grin

Two great games this afternoon. First we have Man Utd - Liverpool to get the things going. Here I expect a high tempo match and lot of half chances but not too many goals. Should probably be a close one until the end. Hope for Lpool to get some points from this one.

In the cup final we could have an interesting match if Chelsea enters in the match with all cylinders firing. If they let City roam the pitch freely I feel they will end up conceding another 4-6 goals.

Enough predictions, time to eat something so I can watch the games uninterrupted. My wife will probably have a bunch of other ideas how to spend that time (probably some kind of Sunday shopping) so wish me luck Smiley

2 points from 2 results, didn't get any points from Burnley (predicted a 1-1 draw) even if I did win a 4/1 bet on Burnley DNB... and now Wolves trailing to a penalty, so my 1-0 prediction needs Wolves to score twice and keep it that way for 1.5 points haha. Not a great week so far.

But yeah, everything pales to tomorrow's game. I'm probably as scared as you LFC, and that's really a mark of what us fans have become, battle hardened but too heartbroken too often to swagger. But we must believe!

Though our dreams be tossed and blown Wink

At least Spurs are, well....doing a Spurs as usual Cheesy They crack EVERY single season without fail as soon as the pressure comes.

If we win tomorrow I think it will give us a psychological edge & the push we need to go on & win the title. A draw would be OK & we’d be top again. A loss would put it in City’s hands again.

Really looking forward to the United - Liverpool game as a neutral! On one hand, I really like Liverpool at the moment and really want them to win the league over City, and on the other hand I've always loved OGS and what he's done for these United players in such a short space of time has been phenomenal. Will hopefully be a great game regardless of the score.

No idea how my uninformed blundering has managed to get me up to second place, but I seem to have been managing to close the gap on LFC by a point or so each week. At this rate, I might catch you by the end of the season. Although saying that, I'm sure I've just jinxed it and you'll outscore me by 5 this week. Cheesy

I only just remembered to put my predictions in today, damn that was a close call. You would have soared past me. But yeah it would be really great if you had a shitty, low scoring week Wink

You’re getting too close, it’s making me uncomfortable.

Games wise - I’m really hoping my beloved LFC can get a good result at Old Trafford.

^Regarding the bold part you are of course 100% correct. I knew that even before you have written it. My statement was meant more in a way that I don't think City will lose many points and Liverpool will have to work hard for title. That is the problem with written communication and conversing in a second language Smiley You can't convey nuances that well.

I actually read somewhere that 90% of fights in online forums is caused because of misunderstanding caused by poor choice of words rather then genuine difference of opinion. Makes you think  Huh

Hey man, just saw this post. No offence taken at all. I am actually worried that City are coming into form at the best tike. You are kind of right, if LFC win Sunday it’d be a huge boost psychologically for the whole squad.

If I was offered a draw now though I would probably chicken out & take it.

I do fear United on Sunday, they hate us more than City. They will try anything to stop us winning the title even if it means City become Champions.

^  So pumped for the match.  But dunno...  It feels like it's gonna be another low scoring game like how LFC vs Bayern was.  It's prolly the winter.

Gentlemen, we have 2 Friday night games kicking off this week's matches. Don't forget your predictions. I forgot 2 in our other pool (first time ever), and auto picks didn't kick in, strangely.

I finally bought a package to watch EPL properly on tv (yes, I used to stream all the time). It's not really that much to be honest, but I shopped around and kept trying to blackmail my cable provider heh. It finally worked last week for Champs League. It isn't the most premium packages so there is a chance I don't get to watch Liverpool if 2 other games played at the same time are considered bigger.

@Trofo, LFC... I definitely think most arguments are from misinterpretations. Language is funny and I still after almost 30 years of adult life, cannot properly convey the same emotions of my mother tongue into English (and vice versa).

But for the sake of clarity Trofo, Liverpool actually can afford 1 draw, but must win every other remaining match. Tall order, and let's not get ahead of ourselves. Old Trafford awaits. Come ON, you Reds!
