Damn Cardiff 90 minute late goal ,removed me a correct score result. I have lost many positions during the last two weeks and this one doesn't look good for me either, as they say , the sun can be seen since early morning  Grin

Still a load of guys in our pool not put their predictions in yet. Hurry up boys, Saturday will be here very soon. I’ve done all mine for this weekend & locked them so feel free to spy on what I’ve put Cheesy

Still waiting to hear if I’ll have 2 tickets for Liverpool vs Fulham on Sunday. I wasn’t able to get tickets for this game myself in the summer so got a quote off a ticket tout I met from online years ago who sorts me out when I haven’t got tickets from the official club route. Not happy with the price he gave me yesterday so waiting to see if he can do any better.

If not I’ll just watch on BT Sport, fuck it.

I'm terrible at it. Not the predicting, but the actual putting in it thing....haha. I was away for 3 weeks, and I remembered to do it a few times, but other things just got in the way, and I ended up forgetting about it. Without a doubt I don't have a chance now, but I'll do keep doing it for my own entertainment.

I mean I was just giving you guys a chance. You can look out now! Cheesy

Been crazy busy at work this week, I'll get my predictions in this evening (and get back to reporting shitposters Grin).

UnfortunatelyI will be catching up on tons of life admin this weekend due to work being so busy so won't be able to watch any of the games. Most of the matches will be pretty one sided though by the looks of things, so I probably won't miss much. I doubt the Manchester derby will be that exciting either. Fully expect United to get wrecked despite their very lucky win against Juventus earlier this week.

^  I'm aware of Solari.  I meant if Hazard is acquired by Real this Jan., then Mou could follow next summer before the season starts.

And heh, no problem.  It's just a bet I like throwing around the forum for fun.

^  Conte is not going to Real imo.  It's gonna be Mou.  We can argue all day or we can settle this like real men...  A friendly 10 USD bet.  Lololol.  Grin

You got Conte, I got Mou.  If it's some other manager the bet is void.  Go?

You guys know that Solari is new manager of Real? He may not be long standing solution but I think he will for sure be in charge over winter transfer window. And they must buy at least one big name during that period.

Following is just speculation from various press releases.
Conte was very close but didn't get the job because of something Hazard said to the press like "I don't see myself working with Conte". Than Courtois said something similar as well. Then Ramos said something like "Real needs a coach who will be a friend to the players like Zidane, and not somebody who will try to get respect trough strict discipline like Conte". Perez listened and gave the job to Solari. That was not actual citations from those players but my memory from reading it on portals.

@tokeweed sorry if I ruined your chances for easy 10 $ or void bet Smiley I actually give Conte 0% chances and very little to Mourinho maybe 10%

Kidding...  Kinda.  Lol.  Just got a weird feeling Mou is eyeing the Real job which is gonna be available at the end of the season.  And he'll make it his mission to sign Hazard.  That would be something.

Real is buying Hazard this winter, they can't wait until summer. Of course that is just a feeling not confirmed, but I am quite sure Real is buying at least one "big name" striker in this upcoming winter transfer window. If not Hazard than maybe Kane or Neymar.

If Hazard goes to Real this Jan., I think Mou is going too.  Just a hunch.

With Conte going to Madrid, I wouldn't be so sure. Hazard never really seemed to like Conte's style of play, and they didn't exactly have the best relationship. It is undeniable that Hazard is playing better under Sarri. Having said that, Hazard has obviously made no secret of his desire to play for Real. He'll go eventually for sure, but I don't think it will be til next summer.

Meh.
Anyone else ever feel like Chelsea look extremely uninspired and unsure when Hazard is not playing? It's like they forget how to get in the box unless Hazard shows them.. lol

EDIT; See? Hazard gets on the pitch and there's 2 goals in 10 minutes, lol.

Martial has always been good for United.  No idea why Mou refused to play him until recently.  Rash is Rash and he's really good as an impact player than starting him in the line up.

As a big Liverpool fan I didn’t enjoy seeing Rashford score in injury time to win the match 2-1 for United.
It did however get me 3 more points for an exact score in our pool. At least that’s a small consolation.

I did a stupid thing and went for 2-1 but in the opposite direction. Everything was going well too for a while, but I guess Martial and Rashford are really changing their form, and I don't think this is a coincidence as Mourinho has been saying nicer things about them. I'm sure Mr Special One also realizes this and he knows that he has been winning games when his team is on a high morale.

I did guess the Newcastle win nicely, but it looks like our top guy LFC Bitcoin did as well, so well done to 3 of us for picking this. LFC, you've been making very strong rounds lately, I'm very impressed!

It seems like LFC has been doing some real scouting and talking with the managers & players for this week! Some insanely good predictions for you Smiley

Catastrophic week for me so far, the worst of all the weeks until now, anyway that is something sooner or later anyone will hit one of these so I am not that worried. There are still 2 other games to go and I didn't see a Newcastle win today.

Last week, I was pretty sure I made reasonable predictions, as opposed to my natural instinct to just go for broke on 2 or 3 games. Still ended up with the wooden spoon, so I guess I don't know what I'm doing!

For those who don't put in predictions, yes, please just take 10 minutes to fill in as many weeks ahead as you can. 2-1 as hilarious suggests is my popular pick for a strong team, if I can't tell which team is stronger, than I go for 2-1 on the home side.

Newcastle stand a good chance to win their first game, they play at home today, but it seems to depend on whether Rafa feels like attacking, and it depends on Jonjo Shelvey getting his grip on midfield early on (like at United).

No shocks predicted today, and according to the bookies, even Spurs losing isn't a shock as they're only slight favourites. Strange!

I don’t think any game is easy for Man Utd these days, they are a pale shadow of what they were under Fergie. Average team with a manager past his sell by date.

Agreed. With losses to Brighton, West Ham, and Derby all in recent weeks, I'm surprised Mourinho is still in charge. I've also just spotted that they've conceded 17 goals in 10 games. Compare that to City's 3 and Liverpool's 4 (and Newcastle's (who are in 19th place) 14).

Recent news is that Real Madrid are keen to have him back: https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jose-mourinho-being-eyed-real-13507274

KDB out for 6 weeks, I would sell. You can always bring him back in at a later date.

Ahh, but I have him in the draft league. If I transfer him out, someone else is guaranteed to snap him up almost immediately. I have to weigh up losing a spot on my bench for another 5-6 weeks against how well he might play the second half of the season once he is back. Given that he's probably come back from the first injury too soon and has now stressed his other knee, I suspect that 5-6 weeks might turn out to be longer to ensure he really has recovered this time, and even then, it will take him several games to get back up to full fitness and a solid 90 minutes, and even then he's still at risk of rotation. The flip side is because it is a draft league the options for replacing him are all below average - I'd be picking from players like Walcott, Milivojevic, and Neves.
