Well that backing of Wolves yesterday didn't end so well for me  Smiley No matter, it was a good game to watch and there could have been much more goals in it.

Congrats to Liverpool and all their fans. You guys deserve a league trophy and I hope this will be your season.

@LFC you'll be on the road by now I imagine, bring home the 3 points, won't you?

Leaving in about an hour, only been to Wolves away once before, we won 3-0. A repeat of that scoreline would be very nice tonight Cheesy

I’m going to have a bet in the ground when I get in, I dunno what to put yet though Smiley

Bookie volume seems to also think so from where I'm viewing. And if Wolves are up for an open game, it's the Reds who'll benefit. I pray if Lovren plays he won't have a big head - silly (or brilliant?) of him to mention unbeaten season after only 17 games!

I am smelling an upset today. If this game was played tomorrow I would say 3:1 to Lpool. But it is played today and there has to be the game which will bring bookies the money and this one looks like it. When you add Lovren "unbeaten" statement to it, I believe it could be win for Wolves tonight. Wolves were very good against top 6 sides this season. Only lost one game.

Now I only have to find courage to actually predict 2:1 for Wolves.

Don't forget there's a Friday night game to kick off this week 18, guys. I'm sticking to my 3-0 scoreline, not disrespecting Wolves at all but I have a small feeling we might be going for a big victory to make a statement. United have got a new manager namely is Solskjaer and it seems like this has been fixed, not just a rumor for the dismissal of mou. With his new coach and solskjaer are players who have long played for United who already know the United characters as they should, hopefully solskjaer can make positive changes for Man-U.

^  I think it would have been more of a boost if United extended Mou's contract for two more years.  Lol.  Now United is in the hunt for another manager, which feels like the next one is gonna do really well for the club.

Well, that's moaninho gone. I think that will have an incredible boost to the Liverpool boys, as I don't think anyone was truly expecting them to get rid of him before the Christmas period is over, and to have your closest rivals school you, and then get rid of your manager speaks volumes. Man Utd will likely get out of their rut, and start getting results. I just think moaninho's tactics are only suited to very good defensive sides, which United haven't had for years.

@LFC How're you feeling today? I honestly thought we were going to see a parked bus after 1-1, but I guess we can credit Mourinho for still trying to attack. Two fortuitous goals from deflections, but you don't get those goals if you don't take your chances. Alisson made a mistake, but it wasn't a bad one, so we lost the chance for a clean sheet. Still 8 goals to make up the difference on City, not that I'm worried. One day we're going to get our top 3 back into gear!

But look at the pool! EIGHT of you predicted 3-1! I did a 2-0, thinking it'd be a tight game.

Meanwhile, another big 6 slipped up. Arsenal? Even Mikhi couldn't save them, but Mourinho must be missing him big time.

What a day to be Liverpool!

I think Klopp has had us playing with the handbrake on until a week or so ago. Our last 3 or 4 games have been much more high energy games with the pressing like last season. I think we were trying to save ourselves so we peak at the right time.

Man Utd were crap today, 2nd best all over the pitch.

Let’s see what happens in the CL draw tomorrow.

Edit - And how am I feeling - ECSTATIC Cheesy

Edit 2 - Thought I did well on my predictions, clearly not well enough as I fell to 3rd yesterday & only got back into 2nd today

This is all I see.. :/

Looks like you've been credited with your default picks now that the week is over.

Isn't there a prize for making the highest score for one set of fixtures?

Yes. 0.01 for the user who scores the most in a single week, and 4 runner-up prizes of 0.005 (your entry fee back).

I did a 2-0, thinking it'd be a tight game.

I did 2-1 for the same reasoning. The game was so one sided though. Liverpool could easily have had 4 or 5.

There's nothing in the rules about default picks being disabled after a certain week or anything like that. All it says is that everyone gets 15 default picks per season. Since you haven't used any so far, you should be getting default picks on those 6 games. Maybe it waits until all the games in this week are over before adding them in?

This is all I see.. :/

I don't even bother looking at my results anymore.  Lol.  I just log in, do a little point and clicking, type my scores then leave.  Cheesy

Isn't there a prize for making the highest score for one set of fixtures?  That's the only thing that's been making me stay.

panjul, you did really well this round. I got so many predictions that I knew I should have changed, but I made them last week and I thought to myself, maybe it's better I don't overthink and let my original predictions stay. Of course this was the same thing I usually ask myself every round so it's no surprise some weeks it works out others it won't.

No surprises tonight, should be Arsenal Chelsea and Liverpol win, right guys?

This week was a good comeback for me with 2 correct scores and 2 results so far, jumping 4 positions ahead and only 13 points behind 5th place. Let's see if this is just like last year where I picked up steam in late December and ended 4th in the final rankings.

Well, an offside goal for Everton thanks to Walcott's poor positioning, and Mina being very lucky not to be sent off for his challenge on Success.

This game should currently be 0-0 with Everton on 10 men, rather than Everton 1-0 up and without a red card. If I were an Watford fan I'd be pissed, but it plays in to the hands of my prediction, so I'm not. Grin I do think the league needs VAR though.

Edit: No sooner do I post and Watford equalize. I've predicted 2-1 Everton so another goal from them would be nice.

Double edit: 2 for Watford in 2 minutes. And Everton missed a penalty. Ouch. Karma is served.

I predicted Everton 2-0 Watford.
That was a late, late equaliser for Everton, think they probably deserved it though.

Just done my predictions for the next round of matches, I know it’s early but why not?

Not only do Wolves score in the fourth minute of injury time to thwart my correct score, but that then gives another correct score and the full three points to slaman29 who breaks further away from the rest of us. He's now 23.5 points away from me in tenth place and that's going to be hard for anyone to catch I think. A top five place isn't out of reach yet though at only 8.5 points. It's still pretty close from place 5 to 19 really and I think any of those players still have a chance of winning something.

Champions League is on tomorrow so for those playing don't forget to put your predictions in for that.
