Portugal vs Uruguay about to kick off in 20 minutes. I’m keen to watch this game, could be really good. Cavani, Nunez & Valverde starting for the South American’s. Ronaldo, Bruno & Silva start for Portugal, some real world class talent on show in this game. Try to watch it if you can guys.
I am amazed at the Uruguay ability to not score goals considering the names they have like Nunez and Cavani which are some great strikers that have done great wherever they have been playing,also Suarez played the first game without scoring a goal,their last game is against Ghana and they need a win in order to have a slim chance but most probably they are out of the World Cup since the group stages,Ghana just need a draw and they will be fine,even Portugal had trouble winning against Ghana.
I am happy for Portugal though,despite the drama going on in Manchester United the coach of Portugal said Ronaldo is the best player ever and he is showing maturity with the national team and by watching how they are playing they can go far in this World Cup.
Uruguay have really surprised me, I thought they’d be much, much better. There is a lot of history in the Ghana vs Uruguay games. Remember the Suarez handball on the line, the penalty was missed & Uruguay won on penalties. I think the Ghanaian squad will be motivated to put that right.
Regardless though, if Uruguay can advance to the round of 16, they won’t be going much further.
It's the same with me, I lost in the Portugal vs Uruguay match, this was really beyond my expectations, against Uruguay I thought Uruguay would play pressing, but instead it was the other way around, instead it was Portugal that pressed Uruguay from the first to the last minute. what made me lose the bet yesterday, it's really difficult to predict the countries that are participating in this year's World Cup, it's as if they are going to play the bet making a lot of people lose the bet..
