For example, which threads?

From any boards I can't receive notification to any newly created thread even I set the /minposts 0.

I tried re-adding boards but I only receive mentioned notification even I saw some new threads posted on boards that I follow.

Like this thread below that just created a 1hour ago even I track the Bitcoin discussion no new thread were notified.

I have some issue not receiving any notification to newly created threads that's why I think deleting them and re-add them will fix my issue.
For example, which threads?
This is the issue that I experienced today. I didn't get any new notifications and I was wondering if no new topic were created today. Some of the threads are  - Bitcoin Discussion, Economics, Mining, Beginners & Help, Gambling Discussion, Trading Discussion, Development &Technical Discussion, Press, Project Development, Speculations, Services, Scam Accusations, Electrum, Meetups

boss ninja what does 'reset' do ?
Might unstuck the bot in some cases.

I know this is a reply to someone else, it may as well work for me. I'll try it out.

Try running /reset first. Also run /info and send me over the details (there is no sensible info).

I got this info
Code:
{"chat":866752604,"id":866752604,"username":"BitMaxz","userId":525056,"mentions":true,"merits":false,"modlogs":false,"isGroup":false}

Then I test again with /minposts 2 it seems it work after the reset.
Here's the result:

Code:
Done! You will only get notifications about new topics from users with a minimum post count of 2

Edit: Is there any other way to delete all boards on tracking boards in one click? I currently removing it one by one.

No, when I type or copy the command "/minposts X", it does not respond.

Or maybe it needs something to make it work?

How do I know if this command "/minposts X" is active?

I tried "/minposts 2" but the bot did not respond, so I am not sure if it is active or not.
It should respond.

You can now use the command /minposts X to specify how many posts the user should have for you to get notified for new topics (where X = minimum number of posts).

Thanks for the update, it can make lot of people's lives peaceful. Cheesy

I have been annoyed by those spams and put the notification on the mute and then ignored the traced boards to stay away from beep for every minute and with this it can potentially eliminate them.

But only downside is if random newbie with less number of posts will be ignored when seeking guidance so I am not sure which one is opt to pick for minposts, for now I set them on 5.

For example:

/minposts 10 -> if the user has 9 posts or less, you won't get notified about new topics created by him.

(maybe ignore all mentions as well?).
I'd start with the new topics. If a new user quotes someone, it's probably a real post.

It's easier to be gamed, but you do have the post count already. Many of the spammers have only one or a few posts, so you could exclude them from notifying users.
Right, of course. Tongue

I'll add a command to ignore new topics from users with < X posts (maybe ignore all mentions as well?).

The problem is that I can't really know the user's rank/activity without visiting his profile, meaning I would need to add another extra request hit to the forum for each new post.

Maybe do like merits where I scrape that number once and then add +1 for every new merit. I could save the post count of everyone and then +1 for every new post scraped.

Just want to share this with everyone regarding the new accounts created to spam today, as you can see in this   thread:, which LoyceV also replied to. It’s really been bothering us who use the BOT, even though those posts get automatically deleted. LoyceV had a great suggestion, and I’m not sure if it’s been posted here too, but maybe it could help improve the system overall.

That's not the forum's fault Tongue My suggestion to TryNinja was to avoid notifications from new accounts.

Is there any way to block or auto remove all topics that keep popping up on the bot?
The forum is suffering from spam bot attacks I want to block those nuke accounts and topics automatically. Is there any way to block them?
Suggestion: create an option to ignore notifications from users with less than a certain activity.
