Maybe you should just bet first before leaving every time?  Grin I managed to bet on each set and was ready to bet on the fifth if Djokovic had not won in the fourth. The game schedule was known in advance and it was obvious that if you wanted to make special live bets you had to be at the computer  Smiley

Which sports betting site do you use to bet on tennis matches?

I usually place bets here: sportsbet.io and stake.com
But the screenshots show that this time I made bets in the first bookmaker (as you can see, I used the bet boost options, on the one hand boost is small, on the other hand it is very felt at a distance). In general, I don't follow tennis, it's just that now there are not enough normal football games, so I decided to have some fun here.

4th consecutive Wimbledon for Djokovic. Kyrgios honestly didnt have a chance. Djokovic is an elite athlete and has kept it consistent over the years with similar levels of motivation. Djoker is against one of the most gifted yet highly inconsistent physically and mentally player. If it was best of 3, Kyrgios has a chance but these Grand slams are a real test. Even though Kyrgios got a bye in the semi finals, giving him more rest days compared to Djokovic. Djokovic has endured and gone through the gauntlet many a times. Just another day in the office for him.

I am not the biggest Djokovic fan but everyone has to admit that he really is the best tennis player by far in the last 5 years or so, even though Rafael Nadal had a very strong period in the last half year or so. Djokovic is totally dominating the tennis scene for many years now and he is basically always the absolute top favorite for every tournament that he is part of and the crazy part is that he is able to live up to that role almost every time. It almost seems that he is losing the first set on purpose because it just happens that often, even against opponents that are no real threat to him.
I think he will dominate the scene for at least 2 more years.

As expected after Nadal forfeited, Đoković won the tournament quite easily.

Before yesterday, Kyrgios had 2-0 h2h against Đoković, winning both matches without a lost set. It all means nothing in matches like these though.

US Open will be really fun - Đoković is again only 1 GS behind Nadal. Neither one of them will be my favorites in the USA though.
US Open has fast hard court surface which makes it good for big servers and hitters. You can see that playstyle implemented by most of the US tennis players as well. They are all big servers and hit ripping forehands/backhands because that's what the surface demands of them and thats how they grew up playing.

Djokovic did drop the ball in the first set, but that was more like a warmup set.  He became unbeatable once his racket became hot. Djokovic is going to be a heavy favorite going into US open. Still, 2 months left for it, but I am pretty sure it will be 22nd grand slam for him!!

for now, there is very little chance that Djokovic will win the US Open. he won't even participate.
Due to anti covid rules by the US government, no one who has not been vaccinated can come to the US. Djokovic didn't, and he cannot travel to the US. he already missed some tournaments in that territory.

I wanted to place a bet on this game, but I had to leave and when I came back it was already on the 4th set, the odd was @1.40 for in case Djokovic wins the 4th set so I took a few minutes to think about whether or not to bet and then I went to the bathroom and when I came back the game was already over, this was the image I saw after I came back from the bathroom:

-snip-
what makes me more angry is that I could have bet that he would win the 2nd and 3rd sets but I also had to leave and that's why I couldn't bet, I missed good opportunities to win money
You don't need to be angry because the tournament calendar still has a lot to be done. There will definitely be another good chance to win a bet on tennis, I would prefer not to bet if I have to do it in a hurry.

My guess is he bet in stake, the same as the sports betting he promotes.

Maybe this is going to be the weirdest tennis history, to be the Wimbledon champion but his rankings are going down https://www.atptour.com/en/rankings/singles

Don't be angry if you missed any betting opportunity. In fact, after missing the bets, we say that we missed an opportunity because now we already know the result. Before that, the bet was not an opportunity, it was a risk that could have gone in either way, Win or Loss.

What a game that was djokovic as always losing the first set and then coming back strong but that last set was really tough it couldve gone either way, kyrgios has a real talent and he is still young if he drop the clown act and become more focused he will be one of the top players.

That is his trademark one, losing the first set and then coming back in the second to win and didn't give a chance against any of his opponents.

Nothing that Kyrgios can do on Djokovic's form, sure he had some good games in the tournament. But we all know that Djokovic is very different in a finals so it's hard to beat him specially in this kind of surface. So let's see if Kyrgios can continue with this momentum in his career, and compete at high level.

Yes betting on a 1st set loss with Djokovic is a given, it seems his opponents come out
with their game plan and after Djokovic is able to fiqure it out and counteract it that is where
he takes over, it can take him 1 or 2 sets to do it.

Kyrgios has said himself, he doesnt play a full Tennis schedule and doesnt have a coach
but yes hopefully he can compete at the higher levels, he is very entertaining and I'm sure more
people tuned in to the match yesterday because he was playing.

Kyrgios played well. Users who went for live Betting might've got a chance to place bets at an increased odds on Djokovic as he lost the first set. In each and every innings the match was alive, because it didn't went one sided. Kyrgios gave the best, and the experience can be always be see with Djokovic. I thought the second set will also be won by Kyrgios. 4th consecutive Wimbledon is not an easy thing.

I bet on the victory of Djokovic in the first set,

You lost the first bet however i predicted that Djokovic will lose the first set and it happened exactly as thought. However hopefully Djokovic  will win the 2nd set and you boosted bet will recover your loss.

I am sure Djokovic will lose the first set,

Yes, your prediction turned out to be correct. But I followed my strategy and already won back the loss. But by the way, Djokovic plays very badly, judging by the statistics - a lot of double faults and small winning percentages from the first / second serve. For now, I will see how things will develop in the third set and then I will make a bet.
Yea, it was right but I was too broke to put my money where my mouth was lol

Haha, Kyrgios would ask the crowd to leave the stadium so that he can play with full concentration and silence.  Cheesy
~

When tennis players complain about the noise, I imagine the face of Salah who was supposed to take a penalty in a yelling stadium and a bunch of lasers that shone right in his eyes  Grin

A well deserved victory from Djokovic. He played poorly in the match and lost the first set. But Djokovic has of course often faced hotter fires such as 2-0 behind in sets and match points against. Kyrgios didn't really have a chance after set 1 and Djokovic has fully lived up to his status as a favorite. A final against Nadal would have been more fun, but Nadal had made the right choice to opt out. You should then actually look in the regulations to see if it would not have been possible to let his opponent continue from the quarterfinals. Then we would have had an extra match.

I was expecting at least four sets and probably Djokovic to lose first set, it happened. Kyrgios got distracted by fans and he was in constant conversation with the referee. He should've played his game. Djokovic used his experience and showed us again how great he is in this court. He got his fourth win in a row and twenty one in total. He's still one GS away from Nadal but I expect him to pass Nadal until the end of next year. He's still in his best game and he got out well after that little covid break.

Man what a battle. Going to have to tear away to deal with real life but hope Nick pulls off the 4th set to take it all the way. Should end up with a small profit regardless of result, hedged all the way. Live odds weren't as interesting as I imagined. Bookies refused to budge on Djokovic despite the Aussie's serve masterclass in set 1.

I took Djokovic in third set @1.37, it was to obvious that he is going to win, and not that bad odd
after first set it seemed that Kyrgios is having some chance to make it more interesting, but you could seen that he is going down in second set, and while playing solid in third, it was already over

as I often say, even after winning two sets in best-of-5, you have to get another set from 0:0, and that is hard as hell against Djokovic and Nadal

Kyrgios was really focussed in the first set and won, he let the pressure get to him and was
ranting at his support box throughout those two sets. He got focussed in the 4th set  and
managed to bring it to a tie break but the damage was done in the 2nd and 3rd sets which
was a pity. Djokovic was really business like, well done to him.

I thought Tennis wise there wasnt actually a whole pile of difference between them but
mentally there was a massive gap overall.

Lol, now I'm really wondering what's going on there, since when Kyrgius served and the score was 40-40, the quote for his victory in the game was 8, and Djokovic 1.07. Did he get injured?

Djokovic won the 3rd set and therefore the odds for Djokovic are not worth taking the bet.

If anyone still want to bet, wait for the forth set to finish. If Kyrgios won this one then perhaps we can get better odds for Djokovic .

Haha, Kyrgios would ask the crowd to leave the stadium so that he can play with full concentration and silence.
His behaviour is very bad, and not a good representation for his country Australia. There was no way he could have won against Novak with him loosing composure at everything and throwing tantrums at the crowd. Maybe if he had channelled more of his energy into playing than blaming the crowd, he would have had a chance.

Congratulations to Novak Djokovic on winning this game now his 21st Grand Slam, he deserved it with the level of composure and experience he put up.

Yes, a tennis player of his level should show a bit more professionalism however it was due to his behavior the match was more enjoyable to watch.

Novak Djokovic proved that he is a true champion, however, a bit of unnecessary drama was created by Kyrgios.
