As i thought Allen and Mike Williams were pretty limited in their reps, only missed on Jalen Guyton, other than that it was a sweep:

Nicely done.

I started the week with a loss, so with that bad luck out of the way I will surely win all remaining bets... I think that's how probabilities work Smiley

Wow, just a month ago Raiders were sitting at 6-3 record having beaten the Chiefs on the road, looking like a solid playoff candidate.
And then the rematch with the Chiefs that they lost (heart-breaking last minute drive and TD with less than 30 seconds left), 1-4 record after that and allowed 180 points to opposing teams, worse than the fucking Jets.

I was about to take H. Henry's spread
Have a funky feeling Herbert might score a rushing TD, maybe i go for that instead...?

Thursday games are always killer for me... I always seem to be on the wrong side on Thursday.
After researching I stayed away from a side and just wanted to take the under on that game..
Well I did and guess what I lost... Cheesy

Staying away from Thursday games for now, I always seem to be wrong. Fade myself next time? Cheesy

Well, that was another exciting game! Could have gone either way for quite a length of it. Even though Marriota didn't turn things around to a W, they were damn close, and I don't think the Raiders are going to forget about that going forward, and next year. Quite a morale buster for Raiders fans who were still clinging to Super Bowl hopes. Maybe next year.

Marriota was doing the team well until the turn over. I reckon. It appears the Chargers will win the game with only a field goal.

Update - Chargers kicker missed hehehehe!

The game is going to over time.

Is Carr already out for good ? After their last play I feel like this game is already over but we'll see.

Edit : Well, it was good while it lasted.

Yeah Mariotta dropped in a perfect pass that td and is not a terrible backup like most teams have.  He isn't that far off from carrs level of play.  This game will probably go down to the wire.  Cmon over hit.  Fun rooting for both teams to score and score quick  Grin

Editt: I already tuned out and was still surprised the Raiders keep it close.

^ Note that Raiders are missing some key guys on defense tonight:

Raiders declared DE Clelin Ferrell, LB Nicholas Morrow, CB Damon Arnette, S Johnathan Abram, QB Nathan Peterman, CB Nevin Lawson and OT Brandon Parker inactive for Week 15 against the Chargers

I was about to take H. Henry's spread but Mike Williams and Keenan Allen (who were both questionable and expected to miss this game) are all of sudden active, which gives me second thoughts about my pick, dammit. Have a funky feeling Herbert might score a rushing TD, maybe i go for that instead...?

@suchmoon. I also like the Raiders hehe. They hired a new defensive coordinator but we cannot be certain how their defense can be fixed in only 4 days. However, they might not allow more than 30 points similar to their last 3 out of 4 games.

Since there is nothing better to do today and I know next to nothing about Raiders or Chargers (haven't seen either team play I think since they moved) - I'm taking Raiders ML. If I lose I'll blame everyone above shilling Raiders.

Betting on the Raiders ? Dangerous Grin Since they had the Chiefs on the brink of defeat, they basically have done nothing. Losing 6-43 to ATL, barely beating the tanking Jets and last week that bad loss to the Colts. A divisional matchup is always a good possibility to get back on track, I just don't find this 1.5x very appealing.

Ordinarily I would like a team in the Raiders' position but the truth is they are pretty awful and yeah, like you pointed out, they only beat the Jets by 3 points. They also have less offensive yards across the season than the Chargers and have given up more defensive yards. Who knows, maybe they will find something within themselves to pull it together enough to potentially qualify for the playoffs. Maybe not!

Gonna take the Chargers @ +3.5 here for 1 mBTC, just to make the game a little bit more exciting. But I give it a low-confidence level rating as it goes against my prevailing theory (that playoff-contending teams find creative ways to put a little extra "oomph" in their games to secure the all-important V).

Raiders or Chargers?
Over or under?

Im leaning Raiders ML...
Im aware of the 2-4 Home record but the Raiders need to win this in order to keep their playoff hopes alive... The home games they had were Chiefs, Colts, Bills, Saints, Broncos and the Bucs... tough.
Another fun fact, the Chargers have lost every game where they were underdogs spread wise... Cheesy

What is everyone else leaning?

This one is going to be tight.  With Elkler back the chargers are a different team.  Divisional game.  I would take the over on this one and stay away from winners and lovers.  Bet on both teams scoring a lot.

Those guys aren't ruled out yet, but they both very well could be.

Judging by the odds movement, they don't play or at least one of them doesn't and the other one is limited. I liked the over, which has gone down now around 2pts as well, but have to think twice now Roll Eyes Betting on the Raiders ? For those who are not aware, we have two NFL games this Saturday with Bills@Broncos and Panthers@Packers. Not the greatest matchups of all time, but better than nothing Grin

This game tonight is a tough call.  As much as I want to bet on the Chargers ( despite the fact that I bet on them last week and they massively let me down/got absolutely crushed) they may really struggle without Keenan Allen and Mike Williams.  Those guys aren't ruled out yet, but they both very well could be.  It looks like it is likely Austin Ekeler is going to play, so that certainly helps but I think I'm going to go with the heard here and put my money down on the Raiders.

I like the Raiders as well and for the totals i'm leaning on the over since both of them don't have great defense. After their loss against the Colts they have a slim chance in qualifying for the playoffs but they should still take down the Chargers. The Chargers haven't had a convincing win plus they're terrible on the road.

So true, if they werent so terrible Id take my chances with the Chargers. I just really like Herbert play, so much potential!
I hope Raiders get their game together and show that they still want to make it into the playoffs!

Lets go! Cheesy

I'd rather lose betting on strong teams than lose on betting on losing teams.  You are just hoping and praying they put up a fight that night.  While it takes an off night for good teams to throw up a stinker.  When you want to bet on a crappy team bet the over or under and at least if you are right or wrong you have a shot at winning.

Exactly!
I knew Jets would be tanking and dont want to win any games, which is ok. I just thought they would go out on the field and at least show some skill and just play a bit but I have been wrong multiple times.
Jets are terrible and I feel bad for the young college guys that get selected by the Jets and Adam "Im an Idiot" Gase.
Adam Gase will be out of the Jets as soon as he completes his tanking masterpiece, the fact that he has not been fired yet simply demonstrates the owner and the GM are happy with what is happening since they want to draft Trevor Lawrence, however they are so bad, and statistically speaking seem to be on pace not only to go 0-16 but to be the worst team ever to do so, that I will not be surprised if Trevor Lawrence begins a campaign to try to dodge them.

Could very well do that its been done before.  But hey if you are the type of person that's wants to take on the challenge, what a great city/team to do it for.  If they can simply turn the course of the team they would be praised for a long time

Yeah seem like a dead spot.  I dont know if I'd want to end up on the jets or Jacksonville.  I guess the same could have been said about the Browns when they sucked for years.  They have a pretty good squad now.  Either way I'm sure fields and Lawrence are hoping so.e other team jumps up the draft and gets them lol.
