Betting on the Raiders ? Dangerous Grin Since they had the Chiefs on the brink of defeat, they basically have done nothing. Losing 6-43 to ATL, barely beating the tanking Jets and last week that bad loss to the Colts. A divisional matchup is always a good possibility to get back on track, I just don't find this 1.5x very appealing.

Ordinarily I would like a team in the Raiders' position but the truth is they are pretty awful and yeah, like you pointed out, they only beat the Jets by 3 points. They also have less offensive yards across the season than the Chargers and have given up more defensive yards. Who knows, maybe they will find something within themselves to pull it together enough to potentially qualify for the playoffs. Maybe not!

Gonna take the Chargers @ +3.5 here for 1 mBTC, just to make the game a little bit more exciting. But I give it a low-confidence level rating as it goes against my prevailing theory (that playoff-contending teams find creative ways to put a little extra "oomph" in their games to secure the all-important V).

Raiders or Chargers?
Over or under?

Im leaning Raiders ML...
Im aware of the 2-4 Home record but the Raiders need to win this in order to keep their playoff hopes alive... The home games they had were Chiefs, Colts, Bills, Saints, Broncos and the Bucs... tough.
Another fun fact, the Chargers have lost every game where they were underdogs spread wise... Cheesy

What is everyone else leaning?

This one is going to be tight.  With Elkler back the chargers are a different team.  Divisional game.  I would take the over on this one and stay away from winners and lovers.  Bet on both teams scoring a lot.

Those guys aren't ruled out yet, but they both very well could be.

Judging by the odds movement, they don't play or at least one of them doesn't and the other one is limited. I liked the over, which has gone down now around 2pts as well, but have to think twice now Roll Eyes Betting on the Raiders ? For those who are not aware, we have two NFL games this Saturday with Bills@Broncos and Panthers@Packers. Not the greatest matchups of all time, but better than nothing Grin

This game tonight is a tough call.  As much as I want to bet on the Chargers ( despite the fact that I bet on them last week and they massively let me down/got absolutely crushed) they may really struggle without Keenan Allen and Mike Williams.  Those guys aren't ruled out yet, but they both very well could be.  It looks like it is likely Austin Ekeler is going to play, so that certainly helps but I think I'm going to go with the heard here and put my money down on the Raiders.

I like the Raiders as well and for the totals i'm leaning on the over since both of them don't have great defense. After their loss against the Colts they have a slim chance in qualifying for the playoffs but they should still take down the Chargers. The Chargers haven't had a convincing win plus they're terrible on the road.

So true, if they werent so terrible Id take my chances with the Chargers. I just really like Herbert play, so much potential!
I hope Raiders get their game together and show that they still want to make it into the playoffs!

Lets go! Cheesy

I'd rather lose betting on strong teams than lose on betting on losing teams.  You are just hoping and praying they put up a fight that night.  While it takes an off night for good teams to throw up a stinker.  When you want to bet on a crappy team bet the over or under and at least if you are right or wrong you have a shot at winning.

Exactly!
I knew Jets would be tanking and dont want to win any games, which is ok. I just thought they would go out on the field and at least show some skill and just play a bit but I have been wrong multiple times.
Jets are terrible and I feel bad for the young college guys that get selected by the Jets and Adam "Im an Idiot" Gase.
Adam Gase will be out of the Jets as soon as he completes his tanking masterpiece, the fact that he has not been fired yet simply demonstrates the owner and the GM are happy with what is happening since they want to draft Trevor Lawrence, however they are so bad, and statistically speaking seem to be on pace not only to go 0-16 but to be the worst team ever to do so, that I will not be surprised if Trevor Lawrence begins a campaign to try to dodge them.

Could very well do that its been done before.  But hey if you are the type of person that's wants to take on the challenge, what a great city/team to do it for.  If they can simply turn the course of the team they would be praised for a long time

Yeah seem like a dead spot.  I dont know if I'd want to end up on the jets or Jacksonville.  I guess the same could have been said about the Browns when they sucked for years.  They have a pretty good squad now.  Either way I'm sure fields and Lawrence are hoping so.e other team jumps up the draft and gets them lol.

Can anyone tell me why I repeatly bet the damn Jets?
Of course not the moneyline but I took the spread this time all the way up to +17, because I thought:
Hey they will lose this for sure, but they should be able to put at least a couple of points...

Oh my was I wrong...
Jets got destroyed, Jets have made it (finally) to my Do not Bet List.

@Hueristic. Agreed! However, it does not cover the spread for the people that gambled on the Ravens. The spread was Baltimore -3.5, was it not? I might be wrong.
Now they covered with that safety at the end. Brutal for those who got the browns spread. What a game though.  Cheesy

Perhaps one of the more entertaining games of the year. That last play tho... I put in a small bet at +5 Cleveland minutes before the game started and it turned out to be a nailbiter. I don't blame them for trying to do what they did, but uh, they got a bit silly with it and did one too many laterals. So I went from a win to a draw, whatevs.

Here's the last play for those who want to see it:

Fucking fantastic ending to a great game.  Wow, I don't even care that I lost my bet, it was fun to watch that mayhem that Lamar Jackson inflicts when he's on it.

Just watching the games and suffering in Patriots Hell...

HAH! Funny considering the scuttlebutt of Garoppolo coming back to Foxboro for 2021. Grin
I really don't know if I want to see him back here or not but I'll take anyone over Newton!

Lol, yeah it's time, I think.   Lips sealed
Garoppolo isn't a bad QB, he's actually got a pretty damn good win/start record, but he's fragile.  He would be great behind a solid line, which the 9ers haven't been able to maintain.  And he gets rattled when the dice are down...  But other than that, he's great.  You'll love him.

I want the Niners to trade up and get that kid out of Clemson, Jeff Spicoli Trevor Lawrence.

I'm always on other 49ers forums and everyone is continually bashing Garoppolo because he is a "bad player" but when he's healthy, he's generally a well above average QB - he just has the injury bug.  Niners were smart to create the contract the way they did.  It's a pipe dream for us to get Lawrence.  I would prefer Zack Wilson, the kid out of BYU.  Killer accuracy and can evade as good as, if not better, than Lawerence.

Sadly didnt get to watch this game but that score! :O
I read the Gamecast and it was intense!

I think I need to watch this game on Gamepass, because it for sure seems like I missed some major action!
I decided to take a last minute Ravens -3 Bet before going to bed, was just hoping they would get this game done, but I was lucky to win it!

I need to watch this game, I mean if it ends at 47:42... Offensive Showdown!
