The recent leaked classified documents out of United States shows that US intelligence does not see any hope for Ukraine in this fight and they also don't see any end to it (or any progress) this year either. This means the West is going to continue pouring money into this war continuing the same path as last year with higher inflation and recession and deindustrialization of Europe.

As for the world Economy, any country that succeeded over the past year to not get sucked into this conflict or obey the US demands (like replacing cheap Russian energy with very expensive US energy) is going to continue strengthening their economy and expand their GDP. Possibly a lot more in 2023 compared to 2022 and even more in 2024.
This process will become faster as dedollarisation continues since countries that dump the Dollar will be less affected by its inflation and more importantly they are eliminating United States ability to put any kind of pressure on them to enforce its demands.

In my opinion, back in the 1990s, the US and Europe should have presented a plan for the long-term integration of all the countries of the former USSR into the world community.  This applies to both Ukraine and Russia.  Both of these countries were to be admitted to the European Union and NATO (North Atlantic Alliance).  At the same time, a roadmap was to be drawn up for the entry of these countries into these organizations.

Both Ukraine and Russia are two big fragments of one big country that no longer exists.

And you can’t say to one country - we will help you integrate into the world community, and to another country to declare - but we do not want to know you, go to hell!  Solve your own problems!  Build your sovereignty however you want, be friends with whoever you want - you can be friends with the Chinese, you can be friends with Iran, you can be friends with North Korea, you can be friends with the Devil himself.  Your fate does not interest us, from the word "absolutely".

This is a wrong position if a country positions itself as  the supreme (most important) integrator of all world processes.

The point is not the possible plans of the United States and NATO in relation to Ukraine and Russia. No matter how they plan there, but determining is whether Ukraine and Russia want to join the European Union and NATO. Ukraine, of course, wants to, planned to achieve its actions to join these structures. But Russia, on the contrary, is opposed to both the European Union and NATO. She generally considers NATO to be her enemy number one since the USSR. Russia is an arrogant country and believes that it should not join someone, but should join it. Moreover, in the issue of joining others there, they always counted on coercion and gross power. We see it now in relation to Ukrainians and other neighboring countries. Russia has already made its choice and at the current stage in civilized states no one is waiting for it.

I believe Russia has made a big error in invading Ukraine because they calculated that they would seize the capital within three days and overthrow the actual government and put a puppet socket government pro Russia.By doing so and not being able to make substantial gains in this war they have weakened their economy to a point where their foreign minister is actively travelling to African countries and offer them free wheat or almost free wheat in order to find support there as no other developed countries from EU does not want any business anymore with Russia. This in the long term will have devastating effects toward the Russian economy because they cannot stand alone and even if they can they will be at least 40-50 years behind in technology.

I am heavily surprised by the Russian population agreeing to such stupidity.

Russia miscalculated by underestimating US and NATO support for Ukraine, making the war last longer than expected. But the US and the EU also misjudged the Russian economy and assumed that sanctions would weaken Russia. Things didn't go as they expected, the Russian economy was still standing strong and almost unaffected by the sanctions. Given Russia's close ties with China and India, I don't think the Russian economy will be devastated and left behind.

This is a war not only between Russia and Ukraine but between the two poles of the world. It is a war to assert the power of politicians, it is difficult to say who initiated this war because many people benefit from this war.

The world economy is getting royally screwed by the war between Russia and Ukraine. We got a major oil supply shortage going on, and that's causing prices to skyrocket. It's an awful situation that needs an immediate and robust response from the global community. The only problem? Nobody wants to play nice these days. Every country is busy looking out for numero uno, and cooperation is a thing of the past. To make things worse, some countries are making the war even worse to meet their strategic goals. We gotta hold those bozos accountable for their actions. We need to rally the international community to take swift and decisive action against war-crazed countries. We gotta rethink our economic policies and start focusing on sustainable growth and development. If we don't step up now, we'll be dooming the world economy, and future generations will be stuck with our mess.
You speak in a very veiled way about the war between Ukraine and Russia. The war did not start on its own. Someone started it. Some are aggressive, some are defensive. Here it must be said directly that the aggressor is Russia, which invaded Ukraine and thereby unleashed the most bloody war that has not been seen since the Second World War. In order for the war to end, it is enough for the Kremlin to withdraw its occupying troops from the territory of Ukraine.

But the aggressor, and the aggressor is an impostor, is now presiding over the UN Security Council. A paradoxical situation: Russia has never joined the UN and the UN has never accepted Russia as a member, now it chairs the UN Security Council. What can Russia teach other members of the UN? How to violate all possible norms of this organization? For example, it is interesting how the Kremlin justifies the motives for the invasion of Ukraine. They believe that Ukraine would eventually attack Russia, so Russia itself carried out a preemptive attack.
Imagine a situation: another person is walking towards a person. The first, due to some delusional thoughts, suspected that the oncoming one could attack him and therefore pulls out a gun and kills him himself. Russia considers it justified. What will happen in the world with such logic is not difficult to imagine.

I look to it that the war affecting the economy of every country and with research about it , Al-Jazeera gave detail of how some countries is affected and if the war did not stop , more of the country will keep suffering. Russia is part of the biggest supplier in oil and the short suorpply is affecting the world. The war is affecting the europe countries hard because two countries in the war are two big supplies to europe. Russia cut supply of oil to euro and that affecting production, gas use. The Ukraine economy supply large amount of iron, steel, ore, stag and ash to the world and euro now in shortage include animal vegetable fats and oil to euro and the other countries.

This is hard time for economy to survive what is your thinking about the collapsing of world economy with highing inflation.

The Russia-Ukraine war is destroying the global economy. A huge oil supply deficit is driving up prices. This terrible situation requires immediate and strong global action. The only issue? Nobody wants to be kind anymore. Every nation is focused on itself, and cooperation is gone. Some governments are worsening the war to achieve strategic interests. Those jerks must be punished. We must encourage the world community to act quickly and decisively against war-mongering nations. Rethink our economic policies and prioritize sustainable growth and development. Unless we act now, we'll destroy the global economy and leave future generations with our mess.

New "achievements of great Russia" Smiley
- The Ministry of Finance reported on the fall in the price of Russian oil to a new "bottom". The Kremlin's decision to cut oil production by 500,000 barrels per day proved powerless to raise prices for the Russian grade Urals.
In March, the average price of the main Russian export brand fell to $47.85 per barrel, the Ministry of Finance reported on Monday.
Compared to February, Urals quotes sank another $1.71 (3.4%), compared to January they turned out to be lower by $1.63, and in annual terms they collapsed almost 2 times.
So cheap, according to official statistics, Russian oil has never been worth since November 2020, when the global market experienced the shock of the pandemic and the strongest overproduction crisis in history.

Potamos Foundation owns The Moscow Times, an independent English- and Russian-language online newspaper. The English-language newspaper was published on paper in Russia from 1992 to 2017 and was both distributed for free and sold as a subscription. The newspaper was popular among foreign citizens living in Moscow and English-speaking Russians. The newspaper became online-only in July 2017 and launched its Russian-language service in 2020.

Journalistically, The Moscow Times is back and perhaps more impactful than ever before. The Russian edition offers an opportunity to give an extra boost to the brand. The Boomgaard Foundation contributes financially to this independent newspaper and to the future of a generation of young Russian journalists.

By the way - thanks to Russia for the most powerful Lend Lease! Lend-Lease, which Russia has launched since March 2022, is constantly leaving tens and hundreds of units of military equipment of our army. A very cool fact, easily verifiable - there were fewer tanks and armored personnel carriers in the Armed Forces of Ukraine before the war than in 3 months after the second phase of the terrorist war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine. And this is all due to the abandoned military equipment regularly "regrouped", but in fact cowardly fled, Russian terrorists Smiley

Regarding lend-lease from Russia, I recently found interesting information:
In September-October, that is, during the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkov, Donetsk and Kherson directions, Russia lost 567 tanks and 890 armored vehicles. At the same time, 197 Russian tanks were captured during the chaotic Russian retreat. In total, after a large-scale invasion, Ukraine captured 482 tanks from Russian troops, mostly of the latest models.

For comparison: France is currently armed with 222 tanks, Great Britain - 225 tanks, Germany - 236 tanks.

According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the total losses of Russia are: 66,280 people (according to the data of the Russian Ministry of Defense, which were provided to Putin on October 14 - more than 91,000 people), 2,554 tanks, 5,235 armored vehicles, 269 aircraft, 242 helicopters, 1,637 artillery systems, 372 RZSO, 189 air defense systems, 3999 vehicles, 1286 UAVs, 16 ships and boats and other equipment.

According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, their total losses are: 2013 weapons, of which 317 tanks, 131 artillery systems, 51 air defense systems, 68 aircraft and helicopters.

Thanks to Lend-Lease from Russia, Ukraine is militarily much stronger than before the full-scale Russian invasion on February 24th.

Let's just say that Russia turned out to be the first country that provided a lend-lease service to Ukraine, "transferring" a really huge amount of weapons to Ukraine, after their stampede in the same Kharkiv region Smiley
The same picture was after the "good will gesture" and the cowardly flight of the occupying Russian army from the southern direction of Ukraine.
I am sure that around May 2023, we will see new interesting events, where there will be a new wave of Lend-Lease from Russia in favor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the data that I have, as part of my "additional work", for example, the 8-month-old "offensive" on Bakhmut, so far has only led to indescribable losses of Russian manpower and equipment, and what is important - they act like locusts - simply destroying everything on on their way but do not build fortification areas in the destroyed territories. And this means that when the situation at the front changes, they will not be able to conduct defensive battles, and will again be forced to shamefully, en masse, flee, leaving equipment and heaps of corpses of their soldiers.
While I will give a forecast, we are following the events around May of this year, in the eastern direction.

The impact of Russia and Ukraine war is devastating for the whole world in particular it has disturbed the supply chain of Food and petroleum products which has resulted in food and energy shortage worldwide. This is leading to skyrocketing inflation and making life of the people miserable in particular developing countries of Asian and African continents.

It is crucial for world leaders to sit together and find out a peaceful resolution of this conflict & this situation demands urgent and collective efforts on global level to alleviate the suffering of those affected by this crisis.

So what we've got? 4 news, 2 without sources and highly improbable, 1 fake news and an article from a questionable website sponsored/owned by the Dutch company with a connection to CIA?  Grin

The only caveat concerns the third wave of mobilization - I agree officially, of course, the pathetic Kremlin Fuhrer will not officially confirm that there will be a third wave of mobilization Smiley
If you remember - at the beginning of the terrorist attack in February 2022, Putin, with a smile, heroically swore to everyone that "there will be no mobilization, I give you my word." The second army of the world, "we will capture Ukraine in 3 days" Smiley

... and after the official completion of the mobilization, which, according to Putin's promises, should not have happened, when asked to officially announce the cessation of mobilization, Putin and the company also refused to declare, saying - "well, we have completed, and completed, why write something!" .. .

After that, they "quietly" carried out a second mobilization for 300,000 plus they recruited 50,000 criminals in the Wagner !

1. about Mishustin. I am not quoting your speculations, but the article in full (https://www.interfax.ru/russia/826862): Russia's federal budget deficit continues to increase, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said, speaking with a report on the work of the government in the State Duma. As of March 8, the government's spending more than doubled its revenues - 6.3 trillion rubles against 3 trillion, Mishustin said. Thus, after a record deficit of 1.8 trillion rubles in January for 25 years, growth to 2.6 trillion rubles in February, in the first week of March, the hole in the treasury reached 3.3 trillion rubles. As of March 21, the deficit increased to 3.7 trillion rubles, follows from the data of the Electronic Budget system. Having collected 3.352 trillion rubles in taxes, the Ministry of Finance spent 7.035 trillion. “This is the so-called advanced financing,” Mishustin told the deputies. According to him, "part of the costs" was decided to be postponed to the beginning of the year, so that "the conclusion of contracts would not stand." “In this sense, the deficit will continue to come in line with the parameters,” the prime minister said. The Ministry of Finance, we recall, drew up a budget with a hole of 2% 25 of GDP or 2.9 trillion rubles, but this figure was already exceeded in February. “In terms of revenue, the problem for the Russian Ministry of Finance is the very low revenue from oil and gas,” says Janis Kluge, senior fellow at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs. According to the Ministry of Finance, in January-February, the collection of raw materials taxes to the treasury fell by 46%, and non-oil and gas revenues - by 9.1%. The total budget revenues sank by 25% to 3.163 trillion rubles. “In terms of costs, the war forces the government to pay in advance for the production of weapons,” Kluge explains. For the year, the Ministry of Finance intends to allocate almost 10 trillion rubles, or almost a third of the treasury's expenses, to provide for the army, law enforcement agencies and the state defense order.

And the question is - why are you trying to lie so stupidly, primitively twist the facts! Smiley
“Perhaps this is a defensive reaction of the Russian psyche, which prefers not to notice that the economy of his country has completely degraded, the country has become an outcast, greatness has been “blown away”, GDP has fallen by more than 40% in a year, the army is on the verge of defeat. In such difficult life circumstances, it is easy lose all touch with reality. Let's be more lenient, it is not known how each of us would behave in a similar situation. " (c) my favorite humorist be.open Smiley

PS By the way - about the budget. I predict that in the next 3 months, many social programs will be reduced in Russia, and they will try to close the ever-growing hole at the expense of .. private individuals' savings, in fact, direct withdrawal of funds from accounts, and replacing them with pieces of paper that cost nothing. They call it internal loan bonds Smiley

There are rumors about "Russia running out of rockets" circulating since March last year. Unfortunately, what we still see now are the Russian rockets flying, including newer Caliber ones. I don't know where they're taking the chips from, washing machines, electric kettles or whatever but the fact is: Russia is still able to produce hi-tech arms. Let's face it - sanctions don't work.
Well, rumors that Russia is running out of missiles are unlikely to have appeared as early as a month after the large-scale invasion of Ukraine. Most likely, it was at the end of summer - in the fall. Residents of Ukraine have already felt the consequences of the lack of missiles from Russia. Mass attacks are becoming less and less frequent and this is good news.

Let's make it clear: Russia is facing the entire NATO and almost the entire Western world in Ukraine. Most of the ex-Soviet tanks, APCs, artillery and anti-aircraft units of the Ukrainian army have been destroyed already. And another thing: I don't think Russian rockets are hitting civilian infrastructure because Putin is an evil and bloodthirsty monster. He's too pragmatic to afford that. The real reason is that the rockets are not precise enough and going off-target frequently.
Russia is really now opposing NATO members in the sense that they are providing Ukraine with all possible assistance with weapons, material and financial resources. At the same time, assistance to Ukraine comes not only from NATO countries. But the Ukrainians are fighting against the Russians, with some exceptions of volunteers from Russia itself, Belarus, Chechnya, all those who hope that the victory of Ukraine will bring deliverance to their peoples from Russian oppression.
Russia deliberately attacked critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine in winter in order to deprive its inhabitants of light, water and heat. Because of this, there were critical periods with a lack of energy in Ukraine, but again, thanks to international assistance with generators and the necessary electrical equipment, the situation was stabilized. Many politicians came to Ukraine to see the consequences of Russian war crimes. It's strange that you don't know.

Ukraine is no longer afraid of Russia, let alone Europe and the United States. Russia already has 10-15 percent of the previous number of cruise missiles left, it has even used part of the emergency reserve, and it can no longer produce in the same volume due to sanctions.

In all seriousness, even the issue of removing the T-34 tanks from the Second World War from the pedestals is being discussed. Cases of attacks by Russians armed with ordinary wooden sticks were recorded. The vaunted "Second Army of the World" is buried in the steppes of Ukraine.

Russia was unable to break the resistance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and that is why it chose the tactics of regular bombardments of civilian infrastructure. But this did not affect the situation at the front. In addition, after massive rocket attacks, when power facilities were damaged, the people of Kiev went out to the balconies of their apartments in the dark and chanted "Putin is fucked up" together. Russia will not break such a nation.

Further, during April-May, there will be a powerful offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the liberation of the occupied territories. In Russia, they are very afraid of this and are now trying by any means to seat Ukraine at the negotiating table in order to agree on a truce. But this does not suit Ukraine: it would mean freezing the war until Russia gathers new forces to continue it. The people of Ukraine clearly support the desire of their government to finish off the enemy and completely liberate all their territories.
Two main issues this offensive is going to face are: lack of experienced military personnel and lack of modern tanks and armored vehicles, artillery support and aircraft. Some of these issues can be solved, some can't (short-term). In any case, I will be following the situation closely, I believe we'll find out the result in some 4-5 months.

Perhaps this is a defensive reaction of the Ukrainian psyche, who prefers not to notice that the economy of his country is completely dependent on foreign subsidies, and GDP has fallen by 30% over the year. In such difficult life circumstances, it is easy to lose all connection with reality. Let's be more forgiving, it is not known how each of us would behave in a similar situation.

I think the situation in Ukraine itself is very concerning, western countries should stop sending weapons to Ukraine so that Russia is not provoked to fire more missiles towards Ukraine.

Despite its lack of military superiority in Ukraine, Russia has not lost its global position with the support of China and other strong economies. Work is now underway to export gas through Turkey, and no matter how much the boycott campaign increases, the world cannot dispense with Russian wheat, especially since Ukrainian wheat is prevented from reaching the markets due to the pressures of the war.
Last Monday, Putin pledged to provide African countries with grain for free if the agreement to transport grain through the ports of the Black Sea is not extended next May. He also announced that his country will cancel debts owed by African countries worth $20 billion. Does this sound like a failed state strategy to you?
By the time the full-scale war began, over 20 million tons of unexported grain remained in Ukrainian warehouses. At the same time, 1.5 million tons - in the territory of Kherson, Zaporozhye, Luhansk and Donetsk regions temporarily occupied by Russia.

As part of the Grain Initiative, about 25 million tons of food products were exported from Ukraine, and thanks to the Black Sea Initiative, WFP has delivered more than half a million tons of wheat since August to support humanitarian operations in Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia and Yemen. We can say that Ukraine managed to export its agricultural products last year.

Putin promised to provide African countries with grain for free if the agreement on the transportation of grain through the Black Sea ports is not extended?
But it was Russia that blocked the export of Ukrainian grain from its Black Sea ports. And what kind of grain does Putin promise to deliver to African countries? Maybe stolen in Ukraine and which is very difficult for him to sell due to monitored actions by the world community?

During the occupation of the southern and eastern Ukrainian regions, the Russians stole over 500 thousand tons of grain - a third of the reserves in these territories. But this information may be outdated and the volume of theft can be much larger.

A simple example from this forum: Some participants say, stubbornly, every day that Russian oil costs 75-80 dollars. And even when you "poke your nose" at them, even at Russian official data, data from online exchanges and trading platforms, they still continue to mutter "you are all lying, Russian oil is expensive, the world cannot do without it, everyone will die without it, so everyone they buy it for 80 dollars and stand in a big queue" Smiley

Believe me, a couple of years will pass, and what has happened in Russia over the past 20 years will be settled not only by international courts, but also by international PSYCHIATRY, because without mental deviations, people en masse cannot behave like this! The question remains - how did it manage to influence mental health through propaganda Smiley

So the question is: why are you spreading propaganda and blatant lies?  Huh

Doubters need to be clear: Putin understands only force. If you flirt with him so as not to allegedly provoke him, he goes further and attacks until he is stopped.

Ukraine is no longer afraid of Russia, let alone Europe and the United States. Russia already has 10-15 percent of the previous number of cruise missiles left, it has even used part of the emergency reserve, and it can no longer produce in the same volume due to sanctions. The Russian army in Ukraine is fizzling out: the long-outdated T-54 and T-55 tanks are being removed from conservation.

Indeed, during the year of the invasion of Ukraine by Russian invaders, its GDP fell by 30 percent, and this is not hidden in Ukraine. They also do not hide the fact that multibillion-dollar assistance is used monthly from other states to stabilize the Ukrainian economy. It's all in the public domain and everyone can get acquainted with this information.

Such a catastrophic situation in Ukraine arose due to the fact that Russia every day fires cruise missiles and all kinds of weapons at industrial and agricultural enterprises of Ukraine, seeks to completely destroy its civilian infrastructure, including schools and hospitals, housing for civilians, the cultural heritage of Ukraine, a special while paying attention to the destruction of critical infrastructure in order to deprive women, children and the elderly of light, water and heat. Not a single state in the world is able to manage on its own during such barbaric bombardments, as well as wholesale robberies of everything that the hand of a Russian soldier can reach in the occupied territories of Ukraine. Well, the people of Russia can still be proud of these war crimes. But then many generations of occupiers will have to pay for everything. Everything has its time.

The third mobilization, at the request of the Kremlin's pathetic Fuhrer, should be 400,000 Russians, who again just go to the slaughter. Consider my forecast until the New Year 2023 - the third wave, as I planned, will be in late spring - early summer Smiley Putin, for the sake of his painful fantasies, is ready to send another 400,000 of his citizens to the next world ....

Mishustin stated the increase in the hole in the Russian budget
Russia's federal budget deficit continues to grow, said Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking with a report on the work of the government in the State Duma.

In fact, feeding the article to Google Translate produced this:

“We have returned the economy to a growth trajectory. Now even some international organizations are predicting positive dynamics for us by the end of 2023 and achieving GDP growth rates higher than those of developed countries in 2024,” the Prime Minister stressed.

Thanks to the work of the leadership of the Central Bank, the work of credit institutions, the currency and stock markets was normalized, Russia avoided external blocking of trade operations within the country. “Payment for goods, services, transfers proceed as before. All bank cards in Russia that were used work. We also managed to reduce inflationary pressure and maintain the stability of the banking sector,” the Head of Government noted.

Thanks to the support of the authorities, Russian business has rebuilt its commodity and logistics chains and adapted to new conditions, Mikhail Mishustin emphasized. According to him, in 2022, 83 companies registered in "Russian offshores", which is three times more than in the previous year.

So the question is: why are you spreading propaganda and blatant lies?  Huh

Two largest Western traders announced a boycott of Russian grain
Russian grain producers, who harvested a record harvest last year and earned almost $14 billion in foreign exchange earnings for the economy, faced a boycott by key Western partners.
The two largest international traders, who have exported a total of 3.5 million tons of Russian grain since the summer of 2022, simultaneously decided to abandon Russian products.
The American Cargill, which provided 1.4 million tons of Russian grain exports, notified the Ministry of Agriculture that it would suspend the export of grain from the Russian Federation from July 1, 2023. The company explained its step by the growing difficulties in working with Russia: although grains did not fall under the sanctions of the United States and the European Union, restrictions on banks and state-owned companies make it difficult to pay for transactions.
Viterra, one of the largest agricultural traders in the world, has decided to abandon Russian grain, which is connected with the Swiss commodity trader Glencore.

... Putin managed to turn Russia, located in Asia and Europe, from a country with good potential and prospects into a third world country that has degraded economically, morally, technologically! Only with negative prospects. In just 1 year! Smiley

So what we've got? 4 news, 2 without sources and highly improbable, 1 fake news and an article from a questionable website sponsored/owned by the Dutch company with a connection to CIA?  Grin
