Once after the distribution the price initially shows sign of increase and further it decrease to some point. After certain time period once again the price begins to increase based on the respective token into circulation. In most cases the price drop happens when the investors try to get into trading on price pumping without holding for a while.

Many projects are trying to solve problems that may not be fulfilled within a month or two after the release. It will take more time, because until a token or a coin is not part of the need for a given ecosystem in which it has been developed so far and there will be no real real changes except for speculators!

The token price falls when bounty hunters get tokens and sell randomly. Some bounty hunters are different like expert investors. They observe the situation and take decision for better time to sell. Some investors also sell token at cheap rate because they get bonus token when they purchase from ICO. Bonus 50,60,70 or 100% . then you have a lot of profit on the first day of trading
It makes sense to me when you mention the ICO that offers Bonuses between "50.60.70 or 100%" investors sell their tokens at an economic price and it could be one of the reasons because the price of the token falls after the ICO due to that there is more token in circulation.
Coincidentally, I found this conversation that distances the possibility that the bounty hunters are the cause of the low price of the tokens after the ICO. However, your point of view is respectable.

In my personal opinion, ICO should be invested for a long time and of course it must be chosen carefully and with an intelligent approach. Yeah, maybe it will be a quick profit sometimes. Entering the exchanges shows that some tokens can rise very much in value. We can`t say for sure about fallin or growin in price and we all have many examples of it (situation with still trades below the ICO price or having a x10 price). Thats all depends on which project choose and how to make this choose.

There are plenty of them, they fall after the ico and keep in a long run under the ico price and no one know if it will rise again. I think that happen because they want to know about market response, how they quick and how much they can lose. Back again everything is plenty.

yes that is normal and reasonable, almost happening to all ICO projects.
But not all who managed to do recovery prices, there are even some projects that are then removed from the list of exchanges.
So to anticipate it we need to understand the future of the project, through whitepaper, roadmap, token structure, management team etc.

In most cases all new tokens after the end of the ICO and listing them on the exchange are falling in price.
More often it happen because participants of the campagin and investors are trying to sell immediately tokens on the market that they received.
Besides that in my opinion it depend on the prices of coins as well.  But more often the value will recover, just be patient and wait longer for good price!

Yes, almost in all projects, the price at the entrance to the stock exchange is falling. Then, if normal is normal, it returns to the ICO price and grows further. BUT this is not always the case

Have there been any tokens where the trading price on exchanges at the very start fell considerably below the ICO price and has not recovered?

There are many reasons why but the primary cause are the market manipulators. As what you've understand with the word "manipulators", those were the people/traders controlling the market cycles that sometimes causing the dumping in the market. The minor reasons are the circulating token supplies that aren't updated yet.

There are several coins that price goes down after ICO and this is the risk. At some times you will think that it will be better to invest once the coin is out so you will not need to take the risk.

I also noticed that it is better to sell coins or a token immediately because after ICO ends token prices begin to fall and not in all cases they rise again.
This will happened on those ICO that are not managed well and if they have a reliable product this will not happen as the investors will surely wait for the rise of price. Yeah it will dumps in the first and second months but more buyers will come once the product is live and the price will start to kick.

I think this is because a lot of bounty hunters are selling so dumps happen in ICO coins, it takes the ability of Dev to anticipate this problem
If only the bounty hunter represents 2% of the distribution of the tokens or even less. How can it be possible? The other part of the tokens holder is Hold and the bounty hunters are the cause of the fall in the prices of the tokens. And that small amount of devalued token is theirs.

Then most of the tokens are still waiting for a big exchange but how long is the wait? Responsible the developers must create the best strategies to make their token have the price it deserves. Maybe we need to study this situation a bit more because it is part of our life in the crypto space. We are a community that is growing and we are still in the initial stage.

AdEx was -50% after ICO during some days. If project is interesting and good - token will grow up but you need to be patient and wait some time.
Yes, I also share your thoughts but there is a thin line after the ICO that makes Token price fall. Not having an adequate Exchange list, if the developers of the project are responsible for everything they achieve with a successful token sale: Investors and a community that loves the project.

They are not working on what is fundamental the Token Price or it takes more time than scheduled for the token to reach the most important exchange. I think that the project itself and the Token should be the pillar of the project and create the necessary strategies to avoid seeing it fall. Just as a machine is put together to sell the tokens, so should the effort to make the token price worthy of a good project.

many understand after the ico become cheaper as there is a drain by Baptists and some participants, but this is not so scary since the token grows after a certain time and can give a good profit

Most of the coin price drops after entering stocks largely because of the large number of coins sold by the holders. They just dumpers who buy low at the pre-sale and eagerly sells their token. And if the team does not have any positive news, then the coin price will not be raised.

Now when too many investors are involved in ICO projects, when it comes to selling tokens these crypto are sold on the merchant's site, which is rapidly selling out, leading to a sharp decrease in value. This is the worst part of investing in ICOs, investors are only interested in profit and have no intention of supporting the project in the long run.

I've seen this way too many times now. From $1 a token during the ICO - and then it drops to less than 10 cents. Obviously investors aren't too happy about this - and I don't blame them. I know people who have lost thousands of dollars.

Why are some ICO's pegging their token too high?
